Did you start to play it? Cuz honestly, it's very addictive once you make friends ingame. I quit Tibia "forever" like 3 times in my life and still just returned. You're dad wasn't wrong about that...

I lost count of the number of times I had to ask for help in the server chat because I forgot a rope. Also the amount of times me and my mate got curious and went down a random hole or into a random jungle to get slapped by a high level monster haha. Back in the dial up days, this was our jam. Tempted to come back
Last time I played Tibia were back in 2002-2006 and not until I started to think if it is worth going back to Tibia.
One of my funniest memorise of the game were when We the Swedes and Poles had a on going war between each other for 4-6 months.

A part 2 would be cool - learning how to search and use the auction house in combination with wiki information to find the best, lightest and most powerful equipment you can currently buy.

Haven't played tibia for almost 8 years, me and a friend decided to go back for laughs, play at low levels and chill, servers are dead and empty, no community left

I haven’t played it in years I was level 127, and this is a little different than what I remember, there wasn’t a tutorial when I stopped playing, so this was helpful to me, but tibia is still just a long time game full of memories more than me trying to play again lol

Is it really a good idea to bind "chat mode off" to a letter like "f"?
If you for example want to say "flask" to an NPC to return empty potion flasks, will the chat mode not be disabled when you try to type "f"?

Great video! Only thing I would change is using "enter" for chat on and chat off, That way you hit enter, type and hit enter again which sends your message and turns chat off so you can heal & keep playing
Damn I totally forgot about tibia! My friend who was like t years older than me used to always play it. Once I was old enough to play pc mmos I started with runescape. Might need to play some tibia!

@@scalerox It's just faster. I found no difference then before and a lot less bots letting me pull insane exp. Now what has changed. The people are different, either solo who don't talk or in tight groups who shame others

We still use Fax in Germany and hope that the Internet, YT and FB are things that will go away if we just put our heads long enough into the sand like an ostrich. xD
But good video anyway! I used to play Tibia a little around 20 years ago and wonder if I give it a try now or not for nostalgic reasons.

Well I created a new account, but their macOS client is not working on a new system with M1 ARM processor. They call their Mac client "Unsupported" though. Like an ostrich. :-(

You can get used to the graphics, but the skills system and dropping items after death is the best.
The only thing that ruined the game were bots and then Cipsoft added some extra items for cash.

This is an amazing Starting guide. Could you make a guide for FACC players maybe to level up from 8 to 50? I want to create a new character, in a new world, playing like a completely noob without help of anyone, I want to get excited about getting plate set haha and all that stuff just playing FACC. A guide to show where to hunt if you are new player would be amazing!!

I just got a new pc after years of not having one, first games I play are tibia and ultima online...wtfs wrong with me I can play modern games on this thing and this is what I choose. Also whats that say about games today compared to these ol gems

Bin vor kurzem auf deinen Stream auf Twitch gestoßen - hab vor kurzem wieder angefangen mit Tibia... das letzte Mal, als ich gespielt hab, gab's noch nicht mal Wands. xD "Leider" hat mir dein Video hier nichts mehr genützt, weil ich mir die Sachen selber beigebracht habe, aber echt krass, was Du dir für eine Mühe gemacht hast! What about the second type? I played tibia for many years and last time I played there were no bars or anything like that. When I started, rods werent even a thing. Can you imagine what was like for a mage to level with weapons inicially until we could hunt based on spells and runes alone? Imbuements, what is that? I guess its gear enchantment, but everything seems so different, I really feel like a noob with a lvl280.

The registration screen says "100% free", but that's not what you said in the video... Well thank you for that, I decided to stay away from this garbage with devs who lie so blatantly before I even made an account, then bait you with microtransactions and FoM monetization in general.

I really wanna get into the game, there seems to be a lot of content. But the beginning is rough.
I don't know what the town was called, but right after the tutorial there were some kind of zombies in the city just chasing me through the entire town. died a few times and was lost.
I didn's know where to go, how to get gear or new skills, it really is confusing and I feel lost.
I feel you. Happened to me too although I barely escaped with a tiny scrap of my life onto the ship again. 😅 But I have to say that there is something to this game. It is really interesting to play.

theres def big changes coming. if it will be on steam that i dont know. they recently did a full rebalance of all vocations and the game has changed drastically once again. the way the game has been going i can definitely feel like they will soon introduce a lot of features that are being repeated in the forums like instance areas for example.
I just started but must have done something wrong and never got to do the tutorial which mean I didn't get health potions, runes, etc.

This wa smy first MMO i ever played I remember playing on my old Windows 95 watching static shock and keeping a journal of all the spell names, since I would always have to type out the spells to use them, idk if macros were a thing in the before times, but I was just a dumb kid constantly running my head into every enemy trying to level up and always losing my gear to Pkers. im getting the urge to see how I fare as a stupid adult now lol

Yes, you can attack without mana on half the professions (not classes, there is a diffrence here). You go into cyclopedia way to early, shift-clicking or using inspect/look at this early stage would make alot more sense.

How do I heal myself? And what about storing gold since they stack in 100s in bag. Is there a bank or storage
So you can convert the gold into platinum at 100 and the you can turn 100 platinum in to cc aka crystal coins there is also a bank in all major city's also you can put them in your depot if you want to also found in every major city and as far as healing there's spells runes and potions aswell you can eat food to gain health but it's not instant :) by the way this is all for memory from about 13 years ago so there might be better ways but this should be more than enough to solve your questions

Premium players get bonus XP for the first three hours, not two.
technically the 3 hours is just temporary until further notice because of corona
