Sorry I am late finding this but the most heartwarming commercial is the Folger's commercial wherein the Mom thinks her son couldn't make it home in time for Christmas and goes to bed. Unbeknownst to them he comes in late and wakes them up by making coffee. The mom smells it cooking, comes downstairs to find her son Peter in the kitchen. I am old enough to remember when long distance calls were expensive and paid for by the minute and air travel was expensive. I remember times when family couldn't make it for Christmas and this one really hit home.
What the terrible mother really let her precious little girl wander off alone to a grubby homeless man with a knife in his hand??? I assume the real part wasn't shown in this film, where child services were called & took the little girl into care. Must have been a great lonely Christmas for her
These commercials are very heart felt. The last one really struck home. If everyone could just come together, forget our differences and remember what the meaning of Christmas is all about.

The same thing happened during the second WW2. Carols were sung. A German and English soldier swapped addreses. Every year after that war, the German soldier sent advent candles to My late father in law.
..MY father , a scout in WW2 , was hidden by a farmer for weeks , after his unit moved out while he was on a mission ..he hid him until another English unit came by ..He gave the farmer his shoes he had carried with him from home in America …the farmer was wearing torn rags on his feet for shoes in deep snow …they didn’t understand each other’s language , but , they understood the need…

They are always about families eating and laughing together and single people are always portrayed as homeless and lonely. I think he has got a point. Yes, you are right. Spending Christmas alone is not a problem for some. Let it be that way and believe those who say they don't have a problem with it.
@@ginafriend1690 That's true. These are sweet ads, but I do see your friend's point. Christmas adverts in general bug me as well. That's because the real beautiful truth is that Christmas has nothing to do with family or friends or feeling lonely or included or our own personal happiness whatsoever. It's about Christ, come in to the world for us. Once you understand that, no matter what state your life is in, even in the middle of a war as in the last ad, you want to celebrate.
