I think ots more referring to the fact that they became their wraith form after their 'mortal' lives ended and they where brought back from death, their souls bound to the one ring
Let's not forget another impressive power of the Witch King, a reason why he was so powerful, and leader of The Nine. By some powerful dark magic, either his own OR from Sauron. Rumors of it claim, and even "He" himself claims in RotK that "NO" Mortal "MAN" can strike him down in battle... making him potentially, if not practically, Invincible, Unstoppable, Unkillable to ALL his enemies in the front line of battle during war. And just how many times do we usually see a "Female" on the front lines of war, for the most part it doesn't happen, certainly never during Medieval Eras. Which however he was defeated a Girl... HOWEVER, everyone bare in mind that, initially, she was commanded and "Ordered" to stay behind in her kingdom by her father, if I remember he may also have been king... [but not certain of that w/o a rewatch, I remember her specifically being told a few times actually, despite her protests to "Stay Behind", he would "NOT" see he beloved daughter struck down in combat] The ONLY way she was even on the front lines in the first place, was she had to basically pull a Mulan, disguise herself in armor as a soldier and literally had to sneak herself in along the Hobbit Mary. She herself was never supposed to be there in the first place. And it was this single, defiant, act that ultimately became their ONLY... salvation. As no mortal man could physically strike down the Witch King in battle... just so happens, conveniently enough ONE "WOMAN", just so happens to slip herself onto the front lines un-noticed by other soldiers. And the real kicker here, is "IF" she had not done so, had she not snuck herself into battle, had she done what she was told and stay behind... every single mortal Man, Hobbit, even possibly Elf, would have died that day by the Witch King. Because of the dark magic that was binded to him to keep him from dying at the hands of a mortal male, none would be able to kill him even "IF" they want to do so ever so badly. This was one of those cases where "IF" you didn't have ANY female fighters on your side, backing you up, then basically.... your screwed. Bad day for the boys... Trying to kill something that can't die by the hand of Man. LOL.
If you read the compilation of Tolkein's notes...he reveals some of the names he intended for the Ringwraiths. (This was the source referenced by I.C.E. when they created The Middle Earth Role Playing game based on their "-Law" series.) In THE COMING OF THE SHADOW..he names the Numenorian Ringwraiths to be Murazor (The Witchking), Adunaphael (3rd of the nine..and the only female) and Ankhorahil (4th and a powerful Sorceror, second only to Murazor) Of the others..three are listed. Indur..the Haradrim. Dwar..of the Rhunites..and Uvatha..of the Khand. The other two have been speculated. I.C.E. either found reference or they invented Ren and Feodrath. Ren is 7th..belived to be a Haradrim. And Feodrath is of the Lossoth race...who was instrumental with the death of the Arnorian king and the loss of the Ring of Barahir. Khamul is of the Easterlings as his name states. Just so you had the info. Awesome stuff

Do one about the Oathbreakers
[but not certain of that w/o a rewatch, I remember her specifically being told a few times actually, despite her protests to "Stay Behind", he would "NOT" see he beloved daughter struck down in combat]
The ONLY way she was even on the front lines in the first place, was she had to basically pull a Mulan, disguise herself in armor as a soldier and literally had to sneak herself in along the Hobbit Mary.
LOL.
yay new vid
If you read the compilation of Tolkein's notes...he reveals some of the names he intended for the Ringwraiths. (This was the source referenced by I.C.E. when they created The Middle Earth Role Playing game based on their "-Law" series.)
In THE COMING OF THE SHADOW..he names the Numenorian Ringwraiths to be Murazor (The Witchking), Adunaphael (3rd of the nine..and the only female) and Ankhorahil (4th and a powerful Sorceror, second only to Murazor)
Of the others..three are listed.
Err no he never made any names for any of them other than Khamul.
And all of them are explicitly described as being old men by frodo
Music score by howard is one of the best things this movie has
