This is a re edit of the Chapman, Kansas tornado event to remove music from the original upload.
On May 25th 2016 a huge, long track tornado occurred in North Central Kansas near i-70 and the town of Chapman. The tornado was on the ground for an incredible 93 minutes, was up to half a mile wide and had winds of 180 mph. Despite the incredible force and long life of this tornado no injuries occurred and only isolated damage was reported. This video was captured on a storm chasing tour with Tempest tours. See their website here www.tempesttours.com/
At 2:45 you can see the amazing power. Great footage and very clear picture quality. I cant wait to see what june has in store. Thumbs up!
Wow that is really huge one. I'm pretty scared but I am stunned.
As a little girl I wanted to become a storm chaser. For Now , witnessing a tornado is added to my bucket list.
This is a great video
Thanks Justin!
Tom. I love your site but please put on some longer videos. Thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will take that on board. I will be heading out for my storm chasing trip in June, I am looking forward to getting lots more footage this year. Thanks for watching the videos. 👍
Thanks.
A wind filter would be appreciated
I agree! I have recently upgraded all of my equipment and now have three wind shields. 🙂
