I have 12400f with rx6600 and i average warzone 140-150fps. Teaking is alwasy required.

it seems that I would want to play Apex at high (not max) at 144 FPS, I would have to choose 12600 or 12700
If I change the 3080 for the 3080ti and the 12400F for the 12600KF or the12700KF (No interest in OC) will be any difference?
There will be a difference but with the CPU. The 3080 into 3080 ti is not worth the $$ to upgrade. The i5-13600k and a good b660 motherboard will be a better upgrade.

Yeah the 12400F used pretty much with RTX 3080.
just got 3080 and boy it consumes wattage like its free.even at idle it sits at 20w and while video playback 30-35w. where my old rx6600 was using 5-8w lol

Хз актуально еще или уже нет,но нет,для 4090 идеально подойдет 13600к или рязань 7600x в 4к.
Максимум 12400f это связка с 4070 для комфортного 2к.

Для игры в 4K хватит и 12400f, но чем ниже разрешение - тем больше процессор будет узким местом.
Я бы взял 12400f с хорошей материнской платой на Z690 чипсете и в будущем обновился на условный 13700K или 13900K, как захочется обновиться на условный RTX 5080/6070/7070 и лучше.

It is at 4K, at lower resolutions the performance would be worse relative to more expensive processors.
Well I use the same combo but in my case the 12400F is bottlenecking my 3080 12GB. Any idea for a fix?
The 12400f bottlenecks the 3080 by about %10-15 you would need to get a better CPU like the i5 12600kf which is the next step up
@@thatdogeguy9108 If you are playing at 1080 that is. At 4K the 3080 becomes the bottleneck (slightly), which is what we want

I have a 3080 and an i5 12400f and my fortnite lags up to 2 fps (even when I reinstalled Windows) The CPU is loaded to 100 even on minimals, I lag and more than 100 fps does not rise what the hell?

1080p the cpu is a bottleneck, you don't buy a 3080 to play at 1080p, if you want go for 1080p just get a 3060.

@@acupofcoffee8723 well it is your money, is not a waste if you decide it's not. But in technical terms, yes it is a waste. You can go 1440p all ultra and still will get a over 100, most of the times over a 130 frames experience which is great. That's what I do, because a have a high refreshing monitor and everything always looks so smooth. But it's your decision in the end.
