The waters of baptism (along with bread & wine) declare how Jesus, with His human body, saved us. It is about His obedience and not our obedience. People argue about infant baptism vs adult baptism but they are missing the point, the testimony of the waters. Just as Noah, a preacher of righteousness, who found grace in God's eyes, built an ark for the salvation of his household from the spirit of antichrist that was operating then, so also, Jesus, a teacher of God's righteousness, who came to us like the former and latter rains, full of grace and truth, built an ark for the salvation of God's household and that ark is His own human body. Just as Moses led the children of Israel out of slavery to Egypt, and opened a way through the waters of Red Sea, that saved the children of Israel but destroyed the Egyptians, so also, Jesus also led an exodus out of slavery to sin and death, by means of death and resurrection, preparing a Way for us, and that Way is His own human body. Just as God separated the waters from the waters and created the Heavens and the Earth, causing them to stand out of the waters in the creation in Genesis 1, so also, Jesus, with His human body, turned us into a new creation and will renew all creation into new heavens and new earth. Addition to comment below, Baptism is not a requirement for Salvation. Neither does it add anything to it, or is a way to impress our Father in Heaven. The entire spiritual realm sees the change in the Believer because the reborn spirit is evident. One is not like other people. We are now sons of the Living God and are sealed with His Spirit. We are a new creature who is totally dependent on the Holy Spirit for discernment of TRUTH and our spiritual development/walk. Not a fleshly ritual to have others see them us as someone pious and pure. We are still in this corruptible body and susceptible to sinning. However, we are washed daily by the shed Blood of Jesus. You actually don't know that the thief on the cross was not baptized. All you know is that he had an advanced knowledge and belief in the kingdom of Christ. Given that all of Judea and Jerusalem was going out to John and being baptized by him (Mark 1:5) and that Jesus was baptizing and making even more disciples than John (John 4:1) then it's probably safer to assume that the thief was previously baptized, but then found himself in some trouble.
@austin3789 Don't assume. Besides that, baptism does not save you. Having faith in Jesus and his dying for our sins and his resurrection, repenting from our sins is what saves us. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. Jesus the perfect, spotless Lamb of God took our place. He died for all mankind, paid the price for all, provided the way for all. The only thing we have to do is confess our own personal sins and receive His forgiveness!
@@thedpenn11 I didn't assume anything. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, *“Save yourselves from this crooked generation.”* *So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.* Galatians 3:26-27 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. *For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.*
The thief on the cross died under the old Covenant. The Hebrews writer tells us that it took the death of the testator in order for the new will and testament to be put into effect

In 1 Corinthians 1:10 and culminating in verse 17, Paul gives the Church the correct view we should have towards water baptism. It has nothing to do with salvation much less a requirement for the Church. It was instituted by John the baptist as a ceremonial washing for the acceptance of their Jewish Messiah, Jesus, who he had come to make the way for. Simply a Jewish ritual cleansing. Jesus Himself said that He was sent not but to the lost sheep of Israel; not the Church. Someone in the video stated that baptism is, and I'm paraphrasing, a signal that one is putting on notice their membership into the Kingdom. They didn’t say which: of Heaven, or of God? They are not the same and are mutually exclusive. Furthermore, he stated that the believer be omes sealed upon completing the ritual, which is also false. The Gospel of Salvation by Paul, who was given this mystery by Jesus Himself, in 1 Cor. 15:1-4 doesn't mention baptism because, as Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:8, by Grace through Faith, not of works, lest any man should boast. Anything else from the believer would make the cross of no effect, as stated in 1 Cor. 1:17. When the sinner accepts God's offer for salvation he is Justified and immediately saeled with the Holy Spirit. Not after some ritual involving the flesh. You guys need to do better! If you want to teach, start by understanding the basic doctrines of our Faith. Pray that God will give you discernment of the TRUTH through His Spirit in order to do this properly. Dr. Heiser gives a better explanation of baptism, as spiritual warfare. In the context of the rebellious sons of God who are chained in darkness and won't be released until judgement, but we are baptized with Christ in His death and resurrect with Him to eternal life BY FAITH.

A mikveh or mikvah is a bath used for ritual immersion in Judaism to achieve ritual purity. I am a priest in my life in yeshua, and yeshua is my high priest. As often as I shower or take a bath, I profess that they lost another one just like Heiser is talking about. Note that the mikveh is self administered. Hence, my angle is to view the shower as a baptismal like experience. For all you purest out there, it is close enough for professing faith.😮

According to Romans 6:5-8, from God’s perspective, when we are saved, our old sinful lives are put to death in Christ when He died in our place on the cross. According to Romans 6:8 and Romans 4:25, when we are saved (by believing on Christ and what He did for us) we are spiritually made alive to God and are justified by God through the resurrection of Christ. Believer’s baptism is only to be done after a person has been saved by Jesus, as a testimony which symbolically pictures the salvation that one has already experienced. When someone is baptized in our church, (by immersion) we often say, “buried with Christ in baptism, raised to walk in newness of life.” Baptism is not a necessary part to our salvation but is an act of obedience to our Lord’s command to be baptized after we believe. If we refuse to be baptized, this may indicate we have not truly believed. God bless Mystery Man

It features Heiser almost exclusively✌️🔔❤️ua-cam.com/play/PLnVDnbbID1uKXZ1y4_2uKozpTceZ2pSzu.html&si=Q8Kw7bWB8a2B4N4A
There is no baptismal regeneration
..psst..
..whatchu mean..?
I’m searching this baptism idea and I would love it if you’d answer the above pssst .. ❤️👍
Why do you have weird scary music accompanying this video.
Those scenes are actually directly from the documentary “unseen realm. Believe it or not documentaries and video content Will put sounds like that behind the scenes to help convey emotion and set the mood to receive the message. It seems that many from older generations don’t like this.🤷🏻♂️ however the video itself has over 2 million views and is one of the most popular Christian documentaries released on UA-cam. So they must be doing something right and maybe it’s just one of those things of personal preference✌️
..what!?
Legion means part of the adversary's hive mind. Not all nephelim are legion, and many can be saved by exorcism, just like possessed humans. Do not commit the same genocidal sins of the house of David
The fallen Angels were chained in Tartarus not so the Nephilim
Agreed, some scholars like Mackie lump it all together but I agree with Heiser
@ringthembells143 I have always thought the Nephelim where the offspring of the fallen angels and humans...hence they became the disembodied spirits we now call demons
I know one man who wasn't baptised yet went to heaven .???. ( The Roman guard with Paul in jail earthquake hit Paul said to him relax only believe whyy did Paul say that well no time to be baptized in a earthquake . If your a believer them you should get baptized but the notion of baptism only saves you is not so.
But he and his family were baptized that night.
@@christophertaylor3150 but the guard said what do we do didn't Paul say only believe . Yes I agree that if he survived then he would've gotten baptised . I'm not sure did he survived or did he die in that earthquake ??.
When someone is baptized in our church, (by immersion) we often say, “buried with Christ in baptism, raised to walk in newness of life.”
Baptism is not a necessary part to our salvation but is an act of obedience to our Lord’s command to be baptized after we believe. If we refuse to be baptized, this may indicate we have not truly believed.
God bless

I hope you're not preaching baptism saves because it doesn't.
I hope you watch the video to find out for yourself 🙏❤️🔔
How do you know baptism doesn’t save? Wow I can’t believe you actually act like you are expert on salvation! Who do you think you are? God the father or Jesus the son or the Holy Spirit?
This "GENERATIONS WILL HELD ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ALL KARMA THAT HAVENT CAME TO PASS TILL NOW!!!.....I AM THAT I AM!!!!
You are not the "I AM", repent and turn to Yeshua. He is the ONLY WAY to YAWEH the I AM WHAT I AM AND WILL BE WHAT I BE!
