Maybe good spy trch
Blind sound designer here, started with the h5, great experiense though monitoring for clipping was tricky to say the least. Switched over to the h6 ecencial and, the accessibility opens a lot of doors. That and 32bit is really neet as I don't have to worry as much for clipping, as I did with the h5 where I had to do my best to set the volume and hope to God it didn't clip. Really happy with the h6e
I've had my H4N for 14 years now. Time to update.
Looks like an big improvement over my h4n pro but it has 140 db mics however having to set the recording levels to prevent clipping gets tedious. Sounds like the H6 essentials recorder plus 1 terrabite capability plus all the added features makes it way more versatile. I do use direct imputs off a PA for the best recording sound. The H6E Bluetooth phone remote is a huge plus as with the H4N Pro I have the wired remote and have to get up on stage to work the controls while playing dodge with the musicians.
I found this video disappointing. It's more of an ad than an objective review.
I have had the H1E, and found the noise to be really off-putting. I don't know if that is down to the preamps or the fact that the mic capsules are absolutely tiny (or both), but on anything where you can't get a very loud signal it really isn't good. 32 bit float will not come to your rescue here. I recorded a mandolin quintet quite close, and the noise was unacceptable. I wasn't expecting to get recording quality audio. Just a decent representation of the rehearsal, but the noise was just too noticeable and much worse than the Tascam DR-05, for example.
Awesome!!!🌟🌟💯💯
You do a great job explaining to non-technical old rockers. Thanks Mitch! Sweetwater customer since 2010.
Can you record without a computer. Mac got hacked.
Hi Hippie-i8g, thanks for the question! Yes, the Zoom H series mixers are designed primarily as portable recorders. They will record to an SD card for you. The H series mixers do not have in depth mixing features though, so if you need to do some mixing, editing, or post work, you will still need a computer. Zoom does make some standalone digital mixers that give you more mixing capabilities like the Zoom L12, that will allow you to do multi track recording, punch and rolls, and even mix with FX.
If you want to talk about stand alone recording devices, give me a shout!

Zoom H 6 essential does not work as audio interface on windows arm 64 . There is no driver available on the website . The only one that is available is for x64 processors. What a shame !
Thanks for that information. Random question. What kind of speakers are those in the background?
My Zoom H1 Handy Recorder is pretty useful to Me.
hello guys!
i need a audio recorder to record the sound of my motorcycle engine.(probably under the seat)

You'll want an external mike placed near your exhaust for that sweet, sweet sound.
Is,A,stand nessasary.❤❤❤,what,is the best, portabl, desk top to use with the focus, rite.
Pilas en 2024. Ridículo.
They look too beefy!
Wow you have successfully cramped todays meaningless buzzwords into the title of an ad for a field recorder. Seriously guys, inclusive accessibilty? 😅
It’s also trans friendly. 😅
I’m a blind guy… The word accessibility is music to my ears… Just saying…
Can you please add cloud storage!!!!!!!🤦🏾♂️ it’s 2024 c’mon
It's hardware.
@@MatthewIanWelch so isn’t my iPhone and my dj equipment but they got WiFi in them. The winner has WiFi backup period
Use sd card and swap them out if full. Forget cloud storage, not reliable. Plug sd card into tablet or phone then upload independent of the recorder.
UA-cam may shadowban this comment like it does for a lot of my comments.
Hmmm…auto volume leveling has previously resulted in lost dynamic range. I am skeptical.
It's not auto leveling, it's more like automatic safety recording
@@AndrossUTSemantics. Some reviews indicate post production is frequently needed. More work.
@@dalewiley9208 it's the same work as gain staging before recording. Are you unable to wrap your brain around that? You should avoid tracked thinking, it gives you cognitive brain damage.
