Dude, is that an actual Vietnam advisor period (58-62) Sears duck hunter camo fatigue shirt the guitarist is wearing? Because it has the regulation military buttons. Does he know how much that damn thing is worth? Oh yeah, and their music rocks too. Thanks.
This is my favorite band in the world. But I gotta say it seems like they are phoning it in for this performance. When they do live shows their energy and passion is incredible. It feels emptier here. maybe they need a crowd
Matt Silvey it's also super early in the morning when they do these performances I imagine they are just tired. saving their energy for the show they were playing that night.
If you guys come back to saint louis I'll be there. Last time you were here you changed my life and I'd be down to talk about it. Didn't have a phone then don't have one now.
I guess I am too if so. When I was a kid and I went to a show I'd be lucky if the band didn't tell me to fuck off when I tried to talk to them before or after the show, and would occasionally have a good and memorable time hanging out with them for a few. It's insane that when presented the opportunity that people wouldn't want to have that experience. I guess growing up when social media is everywhere has stunted kids' sociability. It's almost like they don't see the band as actual human beings to connect with, but as an object to try to leverage some social status.
Those are my favorite songs of Too and Bad Habits is my favorite song of all time and all the songs I like are never played live lik if u cri evryteim ;-;
+guitarslf132 they won't play it at shows because a) It's really emotional for Zac and b) they're not as fun to listen to in a show environment, especially when they just finished playing their punkier songs, kinda kills the buzz y'know?
FIDLAR too definitely felt more poppy than the first one. as far as songwriting and technical ability, they're definitely better now than they were before, however i still prefer the feel of the first album. it was just more raw. that being said this is just one instance of the evolution of the band, and i think we should all just be positive and let people like what they like
It's sad to see how disenchanted they are by this smart phone generation. I can't say I blame them. They belong more in the mid 90's Cali punk scene. They would have LOVED playing for those crowds!
great band, but I think his name is Zac (the guy with the spider guitar) he looks like he's so tired. he's got bags under his eyes and they're blue rip. and he was practically sleeping on that second song lol. not much sleep touring ig
Combination of an act and being on molly/lsd. I used to know these guys and they like to party. Max (the drummer) is the most level headed of them when it comes to playing shows.
+Mr. Hedgehog Downing is when you take some hardcore shit and the process of the shit wearing off is called downing. It's a weird experience, simply it's coming down on drugs.
this was amazing but i wish that during their songs they played more energetic ones like bad medicine or one of their old songs cos when i watched them on bruce rave's show it was awesome
To my ears she did say “Fidlar” but she said it fairly quickly and didn’t overemphasize the “lar” as most people would to differentiate it from “fiddler,” so it still sounds like “fiddler.” It’s like how people say “Bengals” or “Bangles” (the band), like it’s just hard to tell those words apart speaking in your everyday voice, you have to over-enunciate
"it's fiddler!"
"oh god" *distant crying*
yikessssssssss
Lol
She also can’t pronounce “endeavour “
@@cjparrott there's a silent KEXP in the way she says it, indie-ver ,,,whut!!shame on cheryl.,..wait is that her name. yup. cheryl 'muddy' walters
Cheryl is the all time homie
0:24 40oz On Repeat
4:48 Why Generation
12:40 Drone
16:47 Overdose
Zac's guitar playing has gotten alot better.
the had one mission: carry the party hard concept to the earth
A lot is two words. I got you, bruv.
It would be soooo cool if KEXP had The Frights and SWMRS perform, considering Fidlar is touring with both of them this year.
The Frights and SWMRS are the most unoriginal band making music today...they just wanna be and sound like Fidlar lol BURGER IS DEAD.
:/
This comment was made a couple years ago and I’m jealous I didn’t get to see them all touring together
@@nubbyfood2887 holyshit you actually cancelled burger before everybody did
7:21 what a great time to cut to Zac
together pangea on kexp pleaseeee!!!!!!!
one of the best performance of this band on kexp, just amazing!! Keep it rockking on guys!!

Fiddler is a great band.
Its that time again folks, time to play How High is He? This episode starring Zac Carper.
Dude, is that an actual Vietnam advisor period (58-62) Sears duck hunter camo fatigue shirt the guitarist is wearing? Because it has the regulation military buttons. Does he know how much that damn thing is worth? Oh yeah, and their music rocks too. Thanks.
So much love for this band. Great performance, loved that they played Overdose too!

Matt Silvey radio shows are weird
Matt Silvey it's also super early in the morning when they do these performances I imagine they are just tired. saving their energy for the show they were playing that night.
Kurt Shadow it's prolly like 6am
Plus they don't have much room to move around in that studio
Definitely super early and they always play a show the same night in Seattle.
Does Zach have a black eye or has he just not slept in weeks?
6:49 Headphone is where it's supposed to be - 6:56 not
I’d fuckin love to hang out with FIDLAR
Why Generation gives me some major My Morning Jacket vibes, and I love it.
Anyone else think there's like no shots of Brandon?

This band is awesome!
If you guys come back to saint louis I'll be there. Last time you were here you changed my life and I'd be down to talk about it. Didn't have a phone then don't have one now.

10:20. I'm 32. Am I out of touch if I think this is crazy?
I guess I am too if so. Elvis looks like a Vietnam Vet circa: 1971
Most Awkward conversation i've ever heard, and that version of Drone was better than the Album version
I like how the announcer is swaying to Why Generation in the background
great band, but I think his name is Zac (the guy with the spider guitar) he looks like he's so tired. he's got bags under his eyes and they're blue rip. and he was practically sleeping on that second song lol. not much sleep touring ig
Eli Hall he's went through a lot dude

Combination of an act and being on molly/lsd. I used to know these guys and they like to party. Max (the drummer) is the most level headed of them when it comes to playing shows.
