How I Clean My Eight Guppy Tubs

Shows the process I use to clean my eight outdoor guppy tubs. There are dumbo mosaic guppies, neon micarrif guppies, and guppy fry in these tubs. I use a clear transparent siphon tube, buckets, and nets.
Four 50 Gallon (189 liter) tubs.
One 35 gallon (133 liter) tub.
Three 30 gallon (114 liter) tubs.
I clean these tubs once a week.

Hi i liked the video and Subscribed the channel and the bell butten can you say which camera you are using and what is the name of the camera because I have many tubes of mollies plattys sword tails and many guppy eg: red draggen , platinum ,blue grass black moscov and white tredxo males and females I cross breeded them and they many many babies and many tubs I can see any fry because the water is not so clear so I tried catching them and in every each tubs there were many many fry and then I first took all the parents but there where no result so I can you say me the name of the camera so I can scoop every fry plz can you say plz

Hello. I use water straight from the hose. I don't treat the water. The pH balance of water in Hawaii is in the 7 to 8 range. Cholrine concentrations ranging from 0.25 to 0.5 milligrams per liter (ppm) of chlorine can be found throughout the water system.

Do you add water conditioners to your tap water before adding it back into the tub?

Is the drinking water in Hawaii potable? Does the water that you use for refilling contains chlorine?
Hello. The potable water here is not chlorinated. We can drink water direct from the tap, but prefer to have a filter for drinking water. Cheers.

My water supply is not chloronated. I d0 1/10 water changes once a week.
I love the screen edit of the parents on top of the video so we could see the parents and how they are doing.
I just thought of this, but it would be interesting to see kaimuki's macriff and your dumbo mosaics crossbred together. Just like when kaimuki crossed his macriffs with a friends blue neons for more traits.

Good question. When it rains heavy, I have to remove water from the tubs before they overflow. I thought about drilling tiny holes near the top of the tub. But, the tubs are such good quality, I can't get myself to drill into them.

Hello Francis. Having no plants should be ok. Leaves of the plants block some of the hot sun. If your area is hot and in direct sunlight, try to move tub in a partly shaded area since you don't have any aquatic plants. Take care.
