Call centre - great for students and depression. If you are not sure if this is for you call all your friends ask them to slam the phone down after you say hello that will give you an idea.
Yay!! I'm thinking of moving to London on September because I can't deal with my school anymore and it's so tedious I need I break... And when I went to London this February I fell in love with the city!!

Another easy job to get is fast food. My first job was at a Taco Bell. It didn't pay well, was a lot of work, and definitely wasn't glamorous, but it was a job. On several occasions customers tried to throw their food at me (they didn't like it). Being young with quick reflexes, I knew when they were ready to "throw a pitch," to throw their burrito right at me. Every time I was able duck in time, with the food ending up splattered on the wall behind me.
Exactly the German accent likes I sound while talking English thanks to my 8 years having spent in Hannover. But the contents you provide are very good for young people want to discover London in an affordable way. Perfekte Arbeit.
It sounds bizzare to me that call center jobs are the easiest for a migrant in the UK...i thought someone had to be extra fluent if not a native speaker to pull off that job...
The natives must be quite frustrated i guess...not being able to communicate with so-called customer services where most problems can be quite complicated anyway. .
Hallo Leute . Ich heiße Michael :) Und ich komme aus Deutschland. Also what Jem didn't tell you ist that we now learn English before starting school.
love your series! i am from canada and thinking of moving to london in the fall, it seems daunting but your videos make me feel more relaxed about it, great content as well so thanks :)
Hi,I am planning to come to london soon,I have been reading from internet and other related sources but the information i got from your videos is of great use.
Yeah, if I did come for an extended stay I would be most likely to get a barback or supportive position to the actual barkeep. I could help keep the bar stocked with mugs and replace bottles as necessary. And perform other side duties. I could also be a presenter or emcee at a club or something to start or keep the party going. I kind of do that already when I do karaoke at Cats Meow but I'm not paid for it and not on the payroll but I have kept the party alive and given folks a great time. Occasionally I have received tips in the past. I don't boast of what I can do but I do believe I would be more than capable of hosting like that for a period of time. All the best to you Jen!!!!

Hi Jen.. I just discovered your channel and I find it very useful for us aspiring to be in London... A quick question though, how did you arrived in London from Germany? Appreciate your response. Keep it up!
It’s not so easy unfortunately. It’s all about preferences. People here get jobs who can’t speak a word of English whereas others who are fluent can’t get a job!! Double standards. I used to love London but I’m slowly starting to hate the f**k out of it.
Excellent video, I'm a London born native, but I need quick income to fund my business ventures. Dropped out of uni to go into business... Not the best decision but I don't want the debt until I can pay for it myself
So strange you have telephone anxiety when you make UA-cam videos. I'm fine on the phone but take a photo of me without permission or start filming and I'll run a mile.
I think the easiest is to get a job at the warehouse and some factories. So many foreigners every month. I was there for 2 years. And many of them don't even require very good English skill.
@@nch6807 I was working at Schoeller Allibert in Winsord. All people I know very mostly working at warehouses around or in Liverpool, just doing a picking. Many Polish and Slovak, Czech people.

London itself ripping people off everyday from their livings. They dont care about economy while giving freedom to murderers and drug dealers. State police only arrest people just for criticizing and ''offensive'' twitter users..

Your accent is adorable! You can tell that the London influences are kicking in, but still with undertones of a native German speaker.

As she said, English people just don't really want to do these jobs, so there are lots of spaces to feel with people who are just looking for anything

To be a nanny you would need to have gone through a CRB check before you could do that job.
Plus to have kind of qualifications like specific certificate in childcare unless you just work "cash in hands".
