The quality of this glass, clarity, and the glare reduction is second to none. The application is challenging, but the end result is so excellent it’s worth trying!
I did this carefully on a brand new phone. Made a room humid to remove dust from the air, kept the phone boxed until I was ready, removed the film it shipped with and only had to wipe off one single speck of dust.
But the cover already had dust stuck to it underneath the film with the tab. I appreciate the effort in giving us a way to apply this but it's wasted if you don't keep dust out of the air in whatever factory puts these together isn't it.
You’re right. I did the same thing you did, but with belkin ScreenForce 2
And I messed up
You're right, there was already dust on the screen protector when I peeled it off. Complete waste.
Mine messed up but I was able to fix it 100%! I carefully lifted the edges/corners enough to reach the bubbles, then pressed my finger quickly back and forth to fan/spread towards the edge without trapping more air. I did this many times without any problem. A dust free environment is critical.
Thank you otterbox such a simple easy steps and no bubbles!!! Thank you happy holidays!!❤
Before I removed the tab film at 0:48. I notice there was a small dust particle bubble under it. I first thought it’s just on the outside but it was actually on the inside.
I followed this tutorial extremely precicely, even with sterile gloves on but got the preexisting dust particle under the protector. Tried to remove it without luck. Can’t get even get protector off. Help please
How can this big company be snubbing all customers questions? Let me try my luck they may answer mine. Can it be used with the phone pack
This is very tough to do urself; apple sells it but doesn’t help put it on.. not sure why?
But Apple helps put on Belkin screen guard with a nice machine but not the otterbox.. strange.
Anyway It’s always better to get screen guard applied from the apple store.. if u want peace of mind 🌝
Does the protector fit with the defender pro case?
Umm why does the pixel 8 not fit into the tray??
Defender case messed up the edges of my screen protector left ugly long, thin shapled bubble
The grey oval for the 15’s front camera is really annoying, it just doesn’t seem right, it looks like a perfect air bubble. Is there like something I was supposed to peel off before I put it on or is it like that?
And btw the installation was smooth and good, that’s all I’m worried about
I messed it up. I didn’t realise it just bonds immediately. I thought you had to press the dark spot to get the adhesive going. It’s a bit sideways. Expensive mistake.
The glare resistant version is a bit dark indoors for my personal liking. I’ll try it outdoors in the morning.
I seem to have a buble i cannot wipe away and i cannot lift up the screen protector anymore either any tipps in what i can do?
thank you very much! excelletn tutoria
Glad to hear it, Mariel! 😊
I messed up 😔
Oh no! Give us a call at 1-855-688-7269 and we'll see how we can help.
I also messed up. The number in the reply does not work.
@@otterbox is there a number to call to get installation help? There is still a bubble under the glass and I cannot seem to get it out.
@@otterbox This si the comment you choose to reply to out of all the other people having issues?
Same lol
Why don't you guys make camera protectors?
OMG you guys are 100x better than stupid Rhino Shield!
Thanks for the great tutorial!
You're very welcome! 💛
I just bought this same protector and the box says iPhone 15 pro max. The actual screen protector is fine but the tray ottebox provided isn’t even for the iPhone 15 it’s like half the size of my phone
Slide out the plastic tray. It will be right size.
@@GryMach yeah I feel dumb I figured it out like 5 seconds after posting that
Have a circle bubble I can seem to get rid of. Trying edge it out towards corners. No luck . Help @Otterbox
same. There was a small dust particle UNDER the initial protective film of the screen protector itself. Can’t even remove the protector anymore.
@@youtubecommentsguy9805 how come the protector can’t be removed anymore??
Actually 10/10product better than rhino shield
Far out..the screen protector is way too thick and it's ruined a lot of the functionality on my new Pixel 8a :( I've turned on the screen protector specific sensitivity settings, and it still doesn't fix the issues.
can re use the isntall system ?
ALERT!!! I couldn't get the bubbles to disappear. I was so mad. Went to bed and when I woke up the bubbles were gone
But is it going to fit with your defender series case?
I'm pretty sure its supposed to
I messaged OtterBox and they stated that it was compatible with the defender pro
Does it come off easy if we mess up?
YIKES!!!
The Pixel 7a protector kit does not work as described. The precision installation kit tray is far too small for the phone and there's no way to set the phone on top of the tray to get the screen protector to pull over it. You have to remove it and install it by hand. Major fail on the part of OtterBox. That said, the screen protector itself went on securely and without issue using the old fashioned method, the installation kit was useless though.
They glued the top film to my screen protector smh
invisibleshield is way better
I hated using this elastic band and water bottle.. I just applied it with my fingers in the end 👎🏼
What? You applied a screen protector using rubber band and water bottle... How would that help.
Anyways putting screen protector is so tricky I only tried the temp one from Walmart and the edges not rounded good
Too much air bubbles…
Mere bhi laude lagg gye 2 baar 💀
wow, this is one of the worst products. the protector would not remove from the glass itself without force, waste of $45
What? That’s all screen protectors? Don’t talk about stuff you’ve no idea about.
