Apparently the property was originally owned by the Dudley family, prior to the Keelings, hence the 'Ye Dudlies' name. By the way, the Ye is actually pronounced 'The;' I used to know why, but for the life of me can't remember now! Thanks for this glimpse of a house I've never actually seen, despite living in the area for over 50 years. Must go and have a look at it myself one day soon!
