I found seeing the visuals at the same time as a swing very helpful for concept. Amazing and interesting video!

Went to the course this week - my feeling is almost like after the squat in transition using my legs, torso, and arms starting at P6 to tow a heavy weight UP and LEFT of target. Last year, I played my 20* hybrid at 200 yards. This week, it played at 245. Average drive last year was 230. This week, 270 with the longest at 289. This idea is a major game changer for speed, combined with everything else I've watched with you and Milo. Thanks guys! Enjoying the game much more. Now my problem is accidentally hitting it too *far*. Expecting a 95 yard 56* sand wedge that comes up 117 is a new experience. Need a gapping session after all this new power :)

Centeipetal force is maximized, when you push up before the hand path reach its low point. Just like if you hoisted a heavy bag up onto your truck cargo space.
Opposite forces, hands move down, and the center of swing pivot moves up and away from the path.

Good video and comparison with a tour pro. Interesting that you had to shift pressure much earlier to increase speed. A good thought for us all to try. Fleetwood's ability to stay comparitively neutral in his vertical force and then absolutely explode before impact is very impressive. His torque and horizontal force builds gradually and consistently and then lift off. His vertical force reduces slightly as he reaches max torque and horizontal pressure change and then he generates so much pressure into the ground in a very short space of time. To be expected when you see what tends to be his held off swing. He's really focusing his energy and punching hard down, in, and through the ball. Very little energy is wasted in his swing. He's a ball of muscle with world class proprioception and a lifetime of golf so not surprising.

"Max vertical force at left arm parallel on the downing"--does this mean Fleetwood is squatting down at this point, or pushing up?

I am slightly surprised the phrase " force precedes motion", or some variation thereof, seems to have become a goto phrase used by many people discussing ground forces. In my book there is a subtle loss of meaning here. Without going into Newton's first law of motion, on which this phrase is based, the important point is that force produces motion. In other words force doesn't just precede motion, it is the cause of the motion. Obviously I am just nit-picking, but I think understanding the distinction is important. Good informative video though!

Strange that with that new move you have less of the lift in the backswing. I think this is a keeper move for you.

What annoys me about this analysis is the non emphasis of the deweighting at transition essential for the upward vertical force compounding. You must fall to magnify the upwarrd vertical force at impact.
That falling force is the only force we have available to us when the club is above us. Used to accelerate the hands immediately at transition as fine players do. Fine players accelerate the hands faster and begin deceleration sooner than other players. Just like Fleetwood showed.
The focus on work like this has to get the deweighting first. And not a mention?
The interesting data would be how light one can get at transition. Zero momentarily would be ideal Then you have gravity to accelerate the hands early. Then you've got some momentum down to the earth and you can reverse the hell out of the forces with the push up and back spiking pressures on the plate.
Chasing upward vertical forces without it's precursor is inefficient and leads to imbalance in effort. To get the spike is a function of momentum falling down and the reversal. You can get high looking spikes but having to do it with massive acceleration and unnecessary force up when one needn't do that.
I'd be much more interested in a players transition pressures before I would be in impact pressures.
Your late pressure exactly captures my point.

Interesting. Makes sense. But unfortunately there’s nothing we can do without all the equipment and technology to apply it to our individual games. It is nice to finally know how little guys like fleetwood and champ hit it so far but there’s nothing little guys like us can do to try to copy it. Unless you’re extremely wealthy and can take a trip to this guys garage. Lol.

agree. i am a high handicapper and always trying to improve.i find that if i just try the simple things like keeping back to target as long as possible, then 80% or so swing effort i actually hit the ball either straight or slight baby draw, getting it down the fairway..
trying to get /think about all my weight shifts would be more distracting.

I have a question, can you use the 30k on the golf course to generate more club head speed?. Statistics don't improve your game. All you did was spend your money on something that will never improve your game. I have another question, who was the last touring pro you beat? next question if your so good why aren't you on the tour, not the Korn tour the P.G.A tour?. Don't quit your day job.

Not once did he say he’s trying to get on the pga tour , why even watch this guy of you don’t like him. There’s plenty other channels you can watch
