I just installed the Morimoto XB Headlighs, with Amber DLR's, and the Morimoto 3rd break light. They look and operate awsome on my 2007 Tundra LDT, 5.7L white double cab.
I have the same color and generation tundra as you. I just upgraded to the morimoto led head lights and fog lights. Absolutely a GAME CHANGER for our tundra and the headlights/foglights. I did a lot of research and they are by far the best out there. Plenty of videos about them to see
Just did this. FYI for anyone struggling with the wiring harness clips: 1. You can slide the entire connection off the frame. Dont try to pull out the black foam piece. Just slide to the left. 2. When you have these free (like he starts at in the video) use a small pair of vice grips and squeeze the entire plastic tab with the vice grips positioned around the entire connector. Hold the male connecter (the one leading to the truck) with the vice grips like this while you use your free hand to pull out the other connector (the one going to the tail lights).
I just purchased the all red version of these which were the last pair online anywhere it seems. I might run a bead of clear silicone along the inside edge on them for extra moisture protection!!!! And I have the AlphaRex Pro headlights just came in too!!!! Thanks for the video so much bro!!
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. They are very informative and helpful. You make it look so easy. Have you done the front headlamps yet or plan to in the near future?
For the money, I would just go OEM 2018+ Sequoia LED lights. Morimotos only benefit is keeping the stock motor, but its really not something you use if we are being honest.
Great video . I have a 2013 Tundra and 2 days ago i see that water was almost up to the lower bulb in the right taillight ....how did all that water get in there ??? Well i need what you bought new lights and the front headlights on my truck look awful too
Would LOVE to do this but mechanic said some states require same tech as stock for state inspections. In other words, I’d have to keep my old lamps just for the state inspection and swap out every time. Crazy.
Hey man, I’ll see if I can get a video of my headlights. I have no idea who makes them but they look like the alpha Rex lights I installed on my dad’s ranger. They work great
This looks easy but pulling that plug under the truck is hard to do. I cant get the damn thing apart. Even with the flathead...the wire is attached to the frame on mine but not in the video.
Hey I can’t really tell. Do you have any lift or level done to it? I have an 07 same color and I’m hesitant to do any other upgrades before leveling mine. But the service department at the dealership I got it from (I have connections there) are saying it’s a super costly job specific for the tundra because it requires redoing the A arm setup. Have you heard of any of that ?
@@Paulinaandjosh sweet dude thanks! I’ve seen a video installing that same kit. Looked simple enough I’m just not sure what they were saying about the A arms. They said it would be around $1200. So I was like hell no that’s not right. I don’t know if they’re trying to screw me or if there’s actually something different to it
I've been having my '08 since new. 13.4 mpg. Never been in the shop for a repair. Having the paint freshened up as we speak. I'd rather buy gas than pay for repairs. Enjoy your truck.😊
@@RK-nr8qf Thanks!! i am enjoying my truck but it gets about 10 mpg, i am kind of concerned because i don't have any issues and no "check engine light"
@@Paulinaandjosh oh ok, it’s probably the camera in the daylight . If they are brighter than stocks , that’s bright. I will purchase a set and try them out. Thanks ! Beautiful truck!

They look great. I'd prefer if there was a clear lens option (not smoked). They don't appear to be DOT approved.
Just installed my lights today on my 2013 tundra thay are awesome look great now my truck looks blacked out thanks for the video.

The Morimoto headlights look really sick but way outta my price range. I'm sure they are worth it though! Thank you for subscribing!!!
@@Paulinaandjosh They are pricey although you can get them at 20% off during sales (black Friday for example). Put them on my 2008.

Which AlphaRex headlights did you buy? I still haven't bought any yet, its been hard to make a decision.
I got the Pro version. I think I’ll be content with them. Hopefully LOL And thanks for replying too!!!! I definitely didn’t think I’d get a reply! LoL
I guess they’re like the lowest version they make…..
I'm checking out their stuff on Amazon right now. They make some nice looking headlights!

Thank you! I haven’t done the headlights yet but when I do I plan on posting a video on them.
The morimoto xb headlights are a game changer definitely costly but well worth it
The Morimoto headlights are so sick! But unfortunately out of my budget.

Super helpful cant wait to order ours!

Not sure about other states but I had no issue passing inspection in Texas.
They “look” good but you can barely see them functioning in the daylight. Thats a deal breaker for me.
They look great!
Great video as usual
Thank you Luis!
Ebay had the Sequoia DRL headlights lights on sale, with the filler plate.
Thanks for the heads up! I’ll check it out!
So, were you able to fix the outside light strip on the left tail light that went out! Or did Amazon replace it?

Nice! Let me know!
@@Paulinaandjosh ok I got a short uploaded on my page
Check out my install clip on Miramoto headlight. Night and Day.
The Miramoto headlights are so nice! I've been looking at the Alpha Rex headlights, still really nice but more in my budget.
@ found mine on marketplace for $800 - just finished install today. Huge improvement.

I just did a 2-1/2" level on the front. Super cheap and pretty easy to do. amzn.to/3WeZfq3

nice!! i'm going to order those!! i have an 08 Tundra, what is your MPG ? i think i might have a problem with my MPG
Awesome! Gas is only $2.80 per gallon here so I don't worry about MPG much.

Just got mine in today and looks amazing. Major upgrade and plug and play, took 10 minutes. Good video
Can I buy your old factory lights?
🙏🤙
They look dim in day time but i would still buy them
During the day they are just as bright as any new stock taillight. Unfortunately the camera does not capture the light properly.
They are not bright at all
It’s hard to tell in the video but they are brighter than the stock lights. Very bright and noticeable in day light as well.
