- The day for installing the propane tank has arrived and I couldn't be happier. With a step-by-step tutorial, the professional installer Justin was a joy to work with and we are getting things done. Now that all of the black pipe has been installed inside the pole barn and tiny house we are ready for the final gas hook-up. To find the Mr. Heater click here: www.amazon.com/shop/thelovely... With the tank location and pad 80 ft. away from the barn, we have a long trench to dig with the Vermeer RTX200 pedestrian trencher. We will lay out the copper pipe in conduit then get the regulators on and pressure test for leaks, As always we have plenty of fun and surprises along the way. #propane #propanetank #homestead #offgrid #trencher #vermeer #heater #farm
Great job Justin your great at what you do
Awesome guy!
This was a great video. This will be a great help to complete the same project on our property. Thank you!!
My dad would say” You are using those adjustable wrenches backwards “.
Any thread sealer on a flare fitting is un-necessary and can be detrimental if it gets into the pressure reducer, gas valve or other components. Only use thread seal on tapered threads. A flared fitting does not have tapered threads. The copper is soft enough to conform to the flare fitting.
1:24:15 I'd bet my SS check if the man hadn't of been on camera and constantly having to talk while working he would of never missed that
Good point. Most likely so. Luckily all is good.
NOTE: If you HATE annoying music that constantly plays & changes turn you volume OFF till you see movement of lips LOL
Thanks for sharing this information. I want to do propane here and this video solidifies it for me. 🙏
Edit: is there a place to look up code for copper pipe versus the polyethylene flex pipe for underground? Thanks again.
That's great! I wish you all the best. There has to be something out there to provide you with a comparison. If I happen across anything I will let you know. Good luck and thanks for watching!
you don't have to dig deep, use steel tube and run the propane line inside the steel tube.
you're not supposed to use pipe dope on flare fittings.
WHY DO WE HAVE TO HAVE MUSIC ?!!!!!!!!!!!!
So you tested for leaks at 8 psi when you will be running at 10 psi... doesn't make sense to me.
I’m with ya on that Jack.
You bring it down a couple so you’re not waiting forever for the gas pressure to drop down…..put the gauge on shut the supply off if the gauge drops there’s a leak it’s very simple
10 psi or 8 psi, whats the diff... If it has a leak best to find it.
