Edit: the should be a text screen at the end of the video saying: Thanks for watching and more to come soon… but somehow it got left out of the edit! My first Strat body carve and build! Phew, it didn't go too badly I think, but looking forward to getting this one closer to the line :) Hope you enjoyed this one, cheers!
What a fantastic way to raise money and awareness for such an important cause - one that's close to so many people's hearts, myself included. I applaud you. Getting so many people involved to add their own contributions is an excellent achievement too and goes to show that there is still so much good in the world. I hope this project goes from strength to strength and continues well into the future. It's fascinating to see you build the Strat body from scratch - amazing, especially considering how recently you started out on your luthier journey. I can't wait to see the finished result. You've given me guitar/amp-envy on more than one occasion, now you can add workshop-envy to that! 🙂
Thanks Rich. I am glad, although my platform is reasonably tiny that ultimately with a cause like this people just want to find a way to help 👍🏼 building the body was a joy and I can’t wait to do more this year as I start my own guitar venture 🤟🏼 i do love my little workshop
Thanks! This project is really helping me to focus on normal life as much as I can, but for all these people to step up and contribute like this for the charities is amazing 🤟🏼
Awesome project for an awesome cause! Several people in my family have dealt with breast cancer so it’s really great to see you raising money and awareness for all this. Looking forward to seeing more from this!
Honestly i have been blown recently by how people really are genuinely good hearted (if you ignore some internet comments sections of course 😉) Thanks!
James, love your work. Despite what people might say I’ve found your Chanel resonating to me on every level. Would love to get into building just for the fun and passion and creating something for myself. I have done a few builds with minimal gear but has always come out sub par. I would love one day to hear from you what building gear you think is a must and what you could get away with buying tools. Eg. Have to spend money on a planer but how small or cheap could you get away with. Routers band saws etc as it can seem like a big investment. Spending 4 grand on tools for life or just buying a custom shop strat etc
Best of luck with the fundraising. Cancer is such a cruel desease that's affected my family as well. Will you be selling tickets for each items as in a raffle or will the items be sold through on-online bidding? Hopefully this will also be open outside of the UK.
Hi! Thank you, and also I am very sorry to hear that. All we can do is try and do something 🙌 I want to do a raffle but it looks a little difficult legally as I need a gambling commission licence or something. I will see if a third party can offer the service somehow 👍🏼
I hope this cause goes great and you raise a lot of money, but more importantly I wish your Wife all the best in this difficult time. As for all those necks, have you considered a garden fence. Lol

Actually after just a quick look, it does seem it is possible 👌🏽👍🏼

Thank you, and also 😂
Is the background music by you?
Unfortunately not!! One day maybe 🤞🏼
