Lots of lessons from this visit and it was nice to get out and just enjoy a day out looking at motorcycles. I was going to bin this video but I think it's only fair to show the bad days as well as the good days.... I have noticed the sound issue as well and will try and figure out what on earth is going on with it. It didn't show in the editing suite so I don't know what has happened between rendering and uploading? Nothing is going as smooth as it should be at the moment.
That Kawasaki was stunning and the colour, both looked fresh and modern and retro at the same time 😀 So buying a new lens for future shows? Or happy with the 50mm was it?
Yeah I completely agree, it’s an absolute stunner! I’ll buy a wider lens I think. I had to stand quite far back when using the 50mm which is a shame so I need something small but with a wider aperture. If that 20-60 had an wider aperture, it would’ve been perfect. I need to learn to stop rushing as well. That seems to be the common theme, I keep rushing around which is no good….. I think I could’ve got better shots with that 20-60 in hindsight, but I was rushing so we’ll see how the next event goes, wherever that may be.
looks like such a good time, I would love to do that some day. also I love the way you switch camera angles while your talking and driving the bike. I understand your pain with the 3.5 aperture I use a similar lens, and the only way to make my photos look pretty professional is in post. Adobe Lightroom is what I use and it doesn't take too much time. haha riding in the hail is definitely an experience, I normally have to endure that with an open face helmet and that kind of hurts.
It was a nice wander out, even in the hail stones 😆…. To ride with an open face helmet in hail is another level though mate 💪. Thanks for the feedback dude, I’m trying to figure out ways to make the ‘motovlog’ format a bit less repetitive so it’s good to know the switching in POV is a welcomed addition, but I need to do a bit more to make it a little bit more interesting I think😄. I’m glad it’s not just me that doesn’t like the f3.5 lens then haha. I’ve been looking at lightroom and will more than likely get it in the near future, providing I get a job nearer to home so that I can ride more and take more photos 👍🏻. I’ve seen some really good videos by ‘North Borders’ and ‘The Car Creative’ on UA-cam who use lightroom 👌🏻, it looks really good to use.
