People love clowning on these movies because it’s YA and a lot of it is corny but I LOVE the vibe of the first movie. It has like small production vibes but is still decent quality. The filter. The costuming and makeup. Idk how to explain it it’s just such a cool movie vibe.

Bruh I am a guy and I freaking love twilight. The fights are bad ass, I like the cringey romance love triangle. The vampires are all hot and so are the werewolves. Robert Pattinson is a dope actor and I love Taylor, it sucks that his career didn't kick off after these movies. I love the way Kristen plays the awkward teenager.

Did you watch this growing up cuz for me growing up when around the time when Twilight first came out I was a big Spider-Man Batman transformer and iron Man fan will to be fair I was in elementary so I was a kid but I had no interest in this type of stuff and I was a kid always thought that this type of stuff is for like teenage girls now as an adult I still think these are for teenage girls back in the early 2000s

Robert Pattinson sings the song, Let Me Sign, that plays when Bella is fighting the venom after being bitten. He lucked out to have that song and another track Never Think on the album after sharing a CD he made with costar Nikki Reed, and she shared it with the Director. These films, soundtracks, and books will hold a special place in my heart because it was a bonding experience for me and my sis-in-law. IMO the movies get better as they go along.
The lore for this franchise is vampires are cold and solid (compared to marble) so they break and crack during fights. Their eyes change color based on feedings (amber when full, black when hungry, and red when eating human blood), so Bella zeroed in and questioned his eye color in their first chat. His eyes were black the day she first went to the chemistry class, so he was trying to hold his breath for the whole class, but Rob didn’t quite pull that scene off without looking possessed, lol.
Also Jacob is sharing his tribes history with Bella because he thinks it’s all just myth and stories, not truth. He also just wants to talk to her because it's something she's showing interest in.

Final destination really put a deep fear in everyone's mind. That reference was really on point still afraid to travel near those types of truck.

also idk about outtakes but the DVD commentary was pure gold. roberts pattinson and kristen stewart and the director where funny and tried their best (for better or worse what was happening on screen xD ) describing each scene and what their internal monologues were or how ridiculous something was, its worth a watch honestly

@@morticias5043 The author released another book called Midnight Sun, which is just the first Twilight book, but from Edward's perspective. In that book, they explain that when you see the vampires in the sun, the way they sparkle makes it look like they're on fire (like, from far away, idk).

Vampires are suppose to replicate beauty and allure and whats more beautiful and alluring than skin that shines like diamonds, so it kinda makes sense.
CONTEXT OF THE GLITTER SKIN:the vampires are made of ore so when they get ripped apart their insides are like white rocks and diamond skin in the sun

As a middle-aged man when this came out, I couldn't stop bashing it. Then, after years, I actually watched it.
Liked it a lot! And I liked the sequel even more (me and a dozen middle-aged woman in the theater in the middle of the day, midweek).
Not every movie is as good, and don't really like Bella, but very much enjoyed the ending of the series.
Read the book and hated it, though.

Many say that Robert and Kristen acting is plain bad in this, but I disagree, not only because prior and after this movie they proved otherwise, but because it takes a good actor/actress to play weird teenagers, in a weird relationship and I know sometimes they look silly, say silly things or act silly, but that is what being that age is, even Robert said that being all emo and edgy was the only way to portrayed Edward and I agree.
Not saying Edward lies and gaslights Bella, not saying the red flags are there, but he is trying not to tell Bella he is a vampire, cuz it's not only HIS secret and he broke the rule by saving her, but also wants her to know because he doesn't want to lie to her, for example if Clark Kent lied to Lois to try to keep his secret safe, no one would blame him, but it's Twiligth and it's a teen romance film with not gory vampire stuff so...

I find the glitter skin interesting because of “buckyballs,” a flexible form of diamond. If their skin is that diamond tough, and it appears to be, then each pore would refract sunlight the same way diamond does. And in most vampire lore, their chosen human and they have an intense emotional connection; in some stories, the human can actually die if the vampire leaves. I think the author drew on all of that.

One thing I'll give the Twilight films credit for is the cinematography. Those wide and landscape shots look so beautiful and majestic.

Twilight changed quite a bit of things which when trying to adapt a book of fantasy into the reality of a movie can sometimes not mesh well so I understand to a point. However, Twilight being the first movie the budget wasn’t what it needed to be and it shows. The “sparkle” of the vampires were supposed to be more like diamonds as Bella said “it’s like diamonds, you’re beautiful” but instead it looks like glitter. I think the effect gets better as the movies progress, it looks more like a diamond sparkling in the sunlight instead of glitter.
The Twilight series proves beyond all doubt that 2nd tier writing, acting and overall cinematography can still make for very entertaining films.

Okay so the bad guys are nomads and they dry human blood so all the animal attacks we kept hearing about were them all along. They are a coven but Laurent was the outsider. James and Victoria are mated but Laurent is only with them for the excitement. He's mostly bored and he doesnt want a fight with the Cullens but he can't control the others. Also, James only keeps him around because he's diplomatic(a pacifist if you will) and James is very abrasive(a psychopath) so he rubs people the wrong way. His talent is hinting people the same was Alice sees the future and Edward reads minds. Since James was already plotting against him, Laurent saw his chance to dip while the Cullens deal with him.
Man, xD. I remember being on the cinema full of girls screaming and there he was me, 11 years old, with my mom just waiting to watch some action, Vampires Vs Werewolf. For the record to this day is one of my favourites experinces, plus Marvel End Game and Lord of The Rings with 5 years old, fuckking Golum scared the shit out of me.
