      Same I hope there is an episode of her backstory with her talking Greek and her dad

    • @annamariabletsa

      The first thing she says is actually an answer to the interviewer who asks her if she understands anything he says and she says she does and then greets us. the she says she is fine and he tells her that she is very beautiful even more from up close, she thanks him and then says "you're going to make me blush". after a while he asks her where she is from in Greece and she answers that her mother is from Athens and her dad from a small Village called Grammousa and then she and siblings lived in a place called Skala, near Grammousa, in Sparta. it was not were she was born but moved there around 4 , stayed in Greece for 5 years and tells us that when she is around her father she speaks fluently but here she has an accent because she is nervous. she says she worked a lot, especially in Canada, moved to L.A., auditioned a lot , worked very hard and is very lucky. she gets asked what she loves more about Greece, says the People because everytime she's here everyone is very passionate and calm. after a while she says she is engaged with a Canadian . They are just hanging out nothing fancy as a greek wedding something small for family . he asks how come she gets married so young especially in Hollywood and she answers that she does everyone the way she wants, doesn't listen to anyone. Americans pronounce her last name ok. then she says she'd love to do some films. she likes every film style except for horror.she misses a lot about Greece, her favourite food is intestives with lots of lemon ( not a fan myself), pastitsio, moussakas(😇🤤). she is jogging and doing yoga whenever she can. in the end she Greats the Greeks and tells them she loves them... That's all . I hope I helped 😌

    Greek sounds like a beautiful language. The accent sounds a lot like Spanish though...But wow, it sounds like her Greek is quite good.

    • @AuthenticAlex814
      @AuthenticAlex814 4 роки тому +9

      @LRT YTC @Jasmine Evans ~ The linguistic and grammatical rules of Greek + Spanish are quite similar, along with their sharing some vowels + consonants and ways to pronounce them. As a first-generation Greek American who was raised in a very Greek home and speaks it decently, and later studied proper Spanish for several years, I must have said the following to Latinos who compliment my accent when I speak Spanish, more than any other line in my life: “Soy griega, y las reglas gramaticas son muy similares.” 🤓

      @@AuthenticAlex814 Ah okay, that's awesome. Didn't know that...I love when you can discover the similarities between different languages. Just shows we have always been a big human family. Also, props to you for trying to learn and speak Spanish in an authentic way. :)

      @LRT YTC Indeed and thank you! I was taught by an Argentine in my AP high school class, and, at one point, knew Spanish better than Greek. I suggest you try Duolingo for any language learning! 😊

      Catalan was in the Byzantine Empire and the Greek language was made the official language of the Byzantine Empire by the Emperor Heraclius. Prior to this, Latin remained the official language of administration, and bureaucrats and military officers needed to be able to read and write it ...

      Liberty Defenders if you go through history a lot of Greeks were very fare now there aren’t as many fair Greeks, as there were once were. Eg people at the top of Greece aren’t as fare bc a lot were attacked by the Turks. We’re Tracey is from is in Sparta which was not near the top and there are heaps of fare people there.

      @nickzapapp6974 I totally disagree. People in the northern part of Greece are more fare,taller,etc and they look like slavians sometimes. People from Mani are usually darker. She doesn't look like Greek ,I can assure you. Although I think that if she had grown up in Greece she would be darker.

      @galleya-tx3jy Рік тому

      Hey, there are Greeks who possess light physical features such as blonde hair/light brown hair, fair skin and blue/green/hazel eyes-and they are pure Greek. You just haven't seen them and/or have but refuse to acknowledge them. The Greeks in general are definitely not darker than other Southern Europeans like the Italians, Spanish and the Portuguese

      She doesn't look meditterranean, rather Nordic

    • @1964Byron
      @1964Byron 9 років тому +11

      Blonde is not an exclusive Nordic neither brunette a Mediterranean. There are blondes and brunettes all over Europe. The difference is that in Sweden i.e. you get 80% blondes and in Greece or Italy only about 30%. Nothing good or bad either way, only, I don’t know how these misconceptions begin. I was so surprised reading that Maria Callas will be portrayed by Eva Mendez, a dark Cuban with strong Caribbean features. I thought, who knows, maybe next we will see Whoopi Goldberg as Maria Callas.

    • @stipenazorin2096
      @stipenazorin2096 9 років тому +2

      ***** No, its not just the hair colour but her physical features, they are not Southern European

    • @1964Byron
      @1964Byron 9 років тому +9

      I understand what you mean but still. This is not an uncommon face in Greece. Europeans have a common ancestry anyway. Variations in hair-colour and facial characteristics exist only as percentages. No nation absolutely looks like this and another like that.
