Like many, I am researching between this exact model and a similarly equipped Ford F350 dually. Probably will purchase within the next 6 months. May wait for the 2022's if I go Ford. Thanks for a thorough video.
Right on!, Keep in mind this model has a better maintenance schedule and makes more power with 2 less cylinders, engine work is also cheaper than V8s, i'm just figuring your truck will be used OTR, the 2021 Ram has more torque but ford will more than likely counter in 2022, I love the look of the Super Duty Powerstroke's but the Cummins is proven and for 2021 they went back to a CP3 fuel pump, Plus ford has had trouble with the 10 Speed trans, I LOVE Diesel trucks and try to remain unbiased thats why I went with the Ram for my personal truck.
Was in the exact same situation... ended up going Ram Limited trim v/ Ford after a test drive. Definitely recommend you test drive both, I was 90% certain I would go F350, but the 3500 just felt better to me overall after driving them.

The 2021s have the mirror camera display, but it's only available as part of the safety equipment package
Not until 2022 when it shares same cab as 1500s

It may be the best in towing but its the greatest in things breaking. We have 5 dodge trucks, not good. Got back our 2019 today after dealer had it for 3 1/2 months .tranny went 65k.2012 tranny went 125k .All trucks air conditioning gone after 3 to 4 years, requires dash removal. window switches go on regular basis .switching to ? Eric N

Will the rear air suspension hold my 2 ton truck camper? Everything be level? Great video' COST , COST, COST I am curious about the fuel pumps. I was told that Dodge had bad fuel pumps. ???

I’ve always been a GM guy but I have always liked how the rams look. I am looking at a similar spec 3500 max tow package but it’s just a tradesmen trim. Might hold out i heard the 22 models might come with a Allison transmission
I have had 3 GMs and finally switched to Ram!
I just ordered a 2022 tradesman level 2 with the max tow package, they say 7-16 weeks. I could only find a couple nationwide and most were marked up $5 - 7,000 and didn’t have all the things I wanted.
They don’t have Allison trans. They have an Aisen option, which is what I opted for and it’s great.

I just order mine and had the 4:10 axel aisin transmission 4x4, build to my needs and it came out to 68,000

I have an upcoming 2022 f450 lariat... i choose it because it has a wide front axel it has a pick up bed.. if ram will do a ram 5500 limited mega cab long bed.. ill buy one but not the dituned cummins i want that power and torque..
You can buy that already. 5500 wide track axle and throw a bed on the back. I think you have to start with a cab and chassis.

not yet, in 2022 when it shares same cab as 1500! I already asked the dealer salesman. I was sadly disapointed.
