@@AikenAdventures I visit the Kissimmee/Orlando area 3 or 4 times a year. I'd love to move there someday but for now it's just my vacation destination.. I'll be there Feb, May, August and October. Have a great day and night
Ok places but you’re missing something like Brazilian food for example. Orlando has a huge Brazilian community and tons of tourists from Brazil. Boteco do Manolo will be a great option for example. Good drinks, great food and good vibe. That’s on Idrive so, you should check that place out.
I heard U & Me Hot Pot is good as well. I am probably going there in September. Probably not for a Toddler since you cook the food yourself on your table. It does have a robot though that brings you to your table.
Enjoy it so much! Just finished 2weeks trip in Florida and back to Hong Kong few days ago. Thanks for all your video sharing! BTW,also tried the foot-long hotdog in magic kingdom, so yummm
❤️❤️❤️ It’s think we like it because there was one nearby our school growing up, so we grew up going there because it was cheap. Maybe it’s just nostalgia…. but we DO like it.
Would love to try some of these places but I don’t have access to a car in U.S (from Australia and driving on the “wrong side” is scary 🤣. Are they easily accessed by Uber etc from onsite property e.g POP. TIA
We think that i-Drive is easily walkable. Here is our idrive walking tour video: ua-cam.com/video/jz1AsFgOXso/v-deo.html Uber is pretty easily accessible in Orlando, and once on iDrive, you can use the drive trolly.
Ci Ci's??! Really? 😂 you all seem like a lovely family, but CiCi'S is dreadful. Try Bahama breeze, or jimmys bbq. Love the idrive content God bless Orlando. I miss it everyday ❤
We love Chili’s, too! Other than Cici’s we tried to stay away from chains in the video, but Cici’s really tends to be a favorite for iDrive enthusiasts. Do you play the arcade games?
The video was great and we were inspired to try senior frogs from watching your review of it. I’m too competitive to play them, I’d end up wasting my whole day playing them lol
@@AikenAdventures we love chilis but I know they are more an American/Mexican fusion restaurant, we plan to try the new Mexican at icon, meant to be really good
Good question. The most expensive restaurant mentioned is the Pirate Dinner adventure. Oreganatta is $8.99 for the lunch buffet and maybe a little more for dinner. CiCi’s is $8.99 for adults $4.99 for children. McDonald’s prices are pretty standard expect to pay a little more for their pizza and pasta (but still not expensive at all). Expect an average of $15 a plate at Hash House A Go-Go depending on what your order. Señor Frogs 🐸 was kinda pricey as I remember, but a cool feature was that there were some platters available in the $40 - $50 range and it looked like enough to feed a family. I don’t know if those are standard menu items or if they were special offers, but those could have been a good deal.
We usually look for something other than national chains when we visit a location, but we’ve learned that we get a lot of viewers from the UK and that they really like international drive and enjoy eating at American chain restaurants when they come, so one day, we may have to make a video about the chain restaurants.
Thanks for the kind words about the video. Yep, we get it. Cici’s is kind of controversial, but I think it’s nostalgic for us because there used to be one just a short distance away from the high school Alaina and I attended, and since it was cheap, we ended up there a lot as high school students.
@@AikenAdventures this might be before your time. I can remember $3.99 adults $1.99 children $1.25 adults drink children free drinks. Couldn’t beat it.
@Raymail-tj4cf nope, not before my time. We used to have a Cici’s down the road from where Alaina and I went to school and we went there all the time with our classmates! That might be one of the reasons we still like it-nostalgia!
Mostly we tried to avoid talking about the chain restaurants in this video, but as we’ve gotten to know our audience better, we have learned that iDrive is where all the internationals come to eat at American chain restaurants!
This is all low budget family stuff. To call it "the best" is misleading. To me the best restaurants on International Drive are: Cafe Tu Tu Tango, Charley's Steakhouse and Cafe Miniero. BTW The Lobster at BLF has been frozen for months before cooking and are underweight rejects that no other restaurants will touch.
We especially like to find local-style eateries in smaller towns around Florida-especially Central Florida tends to have excellent, one-of-a-kind local restaurants, but we have had fun exploring Orlando and International Drive. We tried to find unique places to eat along I-Drive, but we have learned that part of our audience comes from other countries, and the chain restaurants are uniquely American experiences to them.
We knew that Cici’s would be controversial. I think we both like it more for nostalgia than anything else because there was one down the road from us when we were in high school and it was something we could afford as high school students, and the quantities were enough to satisfy our high school appetites.
@@AikenAdventures I get that. In college, it was a viable option. I recently took my kids there though and my wife and I made the executive decision (unfortunately after we paid) to leave and go somewhere else for dinner.
Yikes! That bad? It’s been a few years since the footage in this video. We’ve had pretty good experiences at one in Kissimmee. That one is about the cleanest one we’ve ever been to. A couple of places I love to go to on I-Drive is Bahama Breeze and Friendly's.

How is the food at Boston Lobster feast?

When are you planning to visit?
Our international borders are not reopening until November 1 so I’m not really planning anything probably until late next year early 2023 😢
What Boston Lobster Buffet did you go to? When we went we must have picked the wrong one, because all the food was cold and rubbery. 😢
We went to the one on International Drive in Orlando, but there is also one in Kissimmee.
The lobster at Boston Lobster Feast is cooked, then frozen, then reheated onsite at the restaurant. That is why it is not as good as it could be.
Interesting. Did not know that, but that totally makes sense.
Good video nice couple

I know, but it’s so cheap and they have buffalo “chicken” pizza that’s so good!
