bless you sir. you are speaking up for me and my childhood self. much of your work has shed light on this for me. I’m not jewish but I know wisdom when I hear it. I was neglected and scapegoated as the youngest boy in my family with 3 older sisters and a single working mother who dated multiple men as I was growing up. All the women disrespected my father and me my whole life. not until I was in my 30’s and married to a similarly abusive woman and divorced did I wake up to the psychological damage that had been done to me. Awakening to this has been really hard. Your words are helping me a lot. Thank you rabbi 🙏
I have been looking for about 10 years for a biblical based understanding of this to help me heal from my complex post-traumatic stress disorder from my childhood. Growing up in a dysfunctional family where the parents in combination with the church shamed and scared the child into behaving. I have sensed this over my lifetime I am 64 years old and have spent the last 10 years trying to heal from my childhood. Thank you for validating this.
I raised my baby by leading by example and teachable moments. This allows the child to grow and develop according to the examples they see daily and if you observe dangerous or undesirable behavior you help the child understand the natural consequences of that behavior and use appropriate discipline. Timeout, writing, having things taken away, or spanking. I feel spanking should only be used when the behavior was dangerous.
Good parents were never anbusive- what a terrible thing to say. And good parents today are not neglectful. The methods are not so important. What's important are the objectives.
That information about a new resolve being promoted has occured to Rabbi Shais Taub only now to share with his followers? I am thankful that Rabbi said the word we instead of they.
Yes from a 40 year old kid... Please for the love of God stop breaking your kids! Love is not that complicated... And often people even with lower education levels. Are fully capable of telling you how they need love! That's how not complex love really is! It's your corrupt complex view of love that's causing all these problems! Rabbi I got tossed out of faith for many reasons... Good ones too... And I do really kinda like it on the dark side of things... Oh don't worry I am still here just orbiting way out in the darkness. Watching very observantly from my position... Presently acquired more gravity to my situation and have a nice gravity lens. It's quite a show from way out here... Looks like little ants in a death spiral. Oh and thanks for being a very bright light... You illuminati many things! That's a good thing. If you would like to talk I am not evil by nature... I just reside comfortably in the dark. I can help you illuminate more things... I may reside in the dark does not mean I don't like shining light on things. And I really like how you illuminati things!
If you must wonder about me... Don't I will simply explain it with a few questions to you. And a conclusion What happens to a soul that figures out. It can grow by feeding on what's in the darkness? And what happens when that soul figures out emotion are like water...? (If you have dirty water learn to filter it) What happens when that soul runs across something in that darkness. That's far bigger and gets consumed? (Oh no what do I do now? Well deep inside at the core of who you are. There is a power. I may have been consumed by something much bigger then me... And it may have taken all I had to do it... But consuming something from the inside out.) If you really want a lesson in meta physical survival... Run across the one and only Lucifer... Get consumed by him... Then eat your way out. Like i said in my previous comment above... I have recently acquired more gravity... And am now cloaked in a shell of darkness. ( I am very loosely describing a black hole ) Who would have thought a simple magnetic personality could rip the soul of a angel to shreds. Especially from the inside. Sorry not sorry... Was tired of his games too. What games do I like playing... Very boring ones... Like observing. Observing things from simple rocks... To all the stars in the sky... And the imagination that follows all that.
As an observer, love is not the answer. It's the problem. In some ways an albatross around people's necks. Have to do this for love. Have to do that for it. Hatred ends up being created. Amid what are considered burdens that are supposed to be family members.
@@levikmoshenalevink9861Considering I hear the word thrown around, hearts put here there and everywhere, the word has lost its meaning. Love is applied to every single thing people do and enjoy. No need to use another word. It's all love. No specialness.reserved for the emotion.
You're right though it's what's happening. People are disillusioned by thinking love is the be all end all then find out it's not even close to it. What to do then? Run away to try to find it elsewhere. It's not there either. More running. Until we hear and learn what it is.
As an observer of Israeli soldiers raping their Palestinian prisoners, I would simply point out that it is not love, hugging their very necks. Yet the tight rope of nothing but selfishness, believed to be The love. Just like the one marvels at the possible words that rabbi’s gonna use to lift these very Israeli children, to show them how great their deeds are…
Notice how when you feel anxious when talking about matters that have to do with unhealthy family dynamics, you switch into talking about this rebbe or that. All Chabad chassidim flee from their immediate anxiety into stories about the rebbes. It is important to note that in a community in which there are so many family problems, there is utter dependence on the rebbes. Chabad chassidim's dependence on the rebbes has not healed the family dynamics in the community. It's two sides of the same unhealthy dynamic. The whole chassidic world needs to do a very deep tikkun. HaShem did Chabad a very great mercy taking the rebbe away from you and not leaving another in his stead so that you might grow. Don't go hanging around the "ohel". Find Torah Truth within yourself, in your own living flesh.
Your low opinion of our Rebbes is not very pleasant. If you understood the teachings of Chabad you'd know that what is being taught is from the Rebbes, not separate from them. They can't control everyone's actions. Also can't reteach people overnight. There are a lot of mistaken interpretations of Torah circulating, within and without Jewish and non Jewish communities. Doesn't get repaired in the blink of an eye. These teachings help move us all along. Chassidus teaches to discipline a child with a shoelace. Get it?
You don't understand the meaning and value of the 7th Rebbe, which was the last one we had. We don't need any more. Moshiach is next for us, for all of us. Of course Hashem knew what He was doing giving us seven.
@@hanarosenthal2349Yes he did. What did - does - that mean? It's not a simple concept. We have to take all we learned and are still learning and use it actively. What does that mean? If you listen to the Rebbe enough he taught what he learned and built on from his father-in-law. That was what was taught by the fifth Rebbe. And so on backwards. That's what Chabad rabbis like Rabbi Shais Taub are doing. He's not parroting the Rebbe without adding more.

I think learning to repair a relationship with a kid on a daily basis takes a lot of practice and improving skills like compassion,

Stunning message, thank you
Interesting! I saw the Messiah in this message Everywhere!
Moshiach has not been here yet to see, know what he's like. G-d is being spoken about.

Clever editing at the point where we definitely want to hear more.
Yes, the Rebbe of righteous memory was the epitome of a balanced approach to how to lovingly teach, parent and lead.
Thank you for this video 💜
Awesome teaching!

There's nothing inherently wrong with love. What you're describing isn't really love.
