Great video. Before planting a river birch, make sure no one in your family has birch allergies. We had to remove them because of allergies and also because their shallow roots were lifting up our patio pavers.
You and Danny make a great team! It is 7:45 p.m. on Sunday. I sat down to watch your video after a beautiful day of working in our yard and reorganizing the garage. It was sunny and in the 70's here today. I feel like you, I'm exhausted but a good exhausted! I'm so excited for the bushes and flowers to bloom. My peonies have beautiful new growth, it's so exciting! Have a great week! ❤
Hello Tiffany!!! Your yard will look so pretty since yall fertilized it!!! And your flowerbeds look great!!! It's so exciting to see the new growth coming up after winter!!! You look so pretty in a hat!! Until your next one take care God bless 😊❤
Thank you for sharing your beautiful yard! Being in New Mexico, I love to see all those trees and grass!! Gorgeous. I hope you and your family have a great time enjoying the porch and yard.
Love your yard! Good job!
Have you ever thought of window boxes in the front that would be pretty! Thanks Tiffany Jennifer 😊😊🌸🌷🌺
Love that duck on your porch he looks like he's guarding the house lol Your makeup stayed so nice!
81 degrees here in Indianapolis, I just washed down my patio, furniture and set everything up for the summer!
Begonias like diffused light. They don't do well in bright sun, so if your garden is full sun during the hot time of the day, don't do begonias out there. Do them as container plants under the shade of your porch. Your gardens will be beautiful!
Beautiful the hat Works♥️ your born to do this xox
We are moving in May and I can’t wait to get my hands on that yard and flower beds! This video makes me itch to get in the dirt and play! ❤
Great video. I like in Virginia and I plant begonia's. They tolerate my flower bed with morning sun and evening shade. They do well here. ❤
❤Hi Tiffany, You look so pretty in a hat! What a great video! Gets me so excited for Spring/Summer. Your yard is so beautiful, you are going to have a great summer! I think moving that flower bed out at the front of the house out is going to be perfect! And a River Birch will be so nice there! Also moving some Rocks in for the flower beds is going to add so much. Im excited for you guys. I have been so busy here getting gardens and yards ready to go! So ready for Spring! Thank you for Today and showing us all the upcoming projects. Sunday looks like a great program to have. Happy Spring! See you in the next one!❤
Thank you so much, Sherry!! Appreciate you being here, always!
❤the hat!
I have nothing in my yard. Weeds, rocks and trees. We have lived in our house four years. And I have no idea what would grow here. And we can’t really water anything. We use the water we have to keep ourselves and the house clean. If anyone comes to stay with us. Then we worry. If we had a well I would definitely be planting things. I’m sure hydrangeas grow here in Georgia. But not if you can’t water them. At our old house is came already planted with pretty things. I used to put annuals in the empty spots. And I took some bushes from my sister when she dug them up. They grew huge. I’m also afraid of snakes being around mulch and leaves. So I don’t do much outside. It’s safer inside for me. Your yard will be beautiful.
Good morning sunshine! I love watching you and Danny work in the yard! You both take such pride in your yard and you should.
I haven't been on in a while as we had some really bad tornados touch down in our town with a lot of devastation. Some people haven't had power for almost a week. Prayers needed Tiffany, please? We are fine, but for others that have lost everything! Have a blessed day. 🤍🙏
Oh, Cheryl, my friend. I’m so sorry!! I will absolutely pray for your down. I can only imagine how devastating that must be.
Right on time Tiffany, I just fixed my coffee!! Love your videos!!!
Yay! Thank you!
Love your content!! I have always loved shows with gardening, cooking and everything home. Also love antiquing and diy. Your channel has it all.
Just redid an antique find after your table diy. Mineral is the perfect color for this look!!
Thanks so much 😊 I bet your piece is gorgeous!
Hi Tiffany I love gardening . I’m looking forward to warm weather so I can start planting 💕
Hi Tiffany, great garden ideas. I know it takes a lot of hardwork, but so worth it. I am going outside now to pull weeds! Have a great Sunday!
Love that!! Have a beautiful Sunday!!
Loved the video. Love planning new spring flowers but...but its alot of work. Love doing the compost. Its the richest dirt ever. Cant wait to see the yard all in full bloom. ❤
It's been a crazy spring here so far. Did some garden bed clean up myself this weekend. Feels so good to be outside again. 😊
Oh how i love spring planting season, i can't wait to see your yard this year! I am planting my porch plants this afternoon.
Yes ,here in WI on our 80 acres, it's really greening up. I have 8 flower gardens, you have to go big w/so much land. I spend a fortune on flowers, but, I am starting some seeds this yr. But I cannot do any bending as 6 mos. ago I had knee surgery. We have a Pole barn and that's where I store all my garden/yard items for the winter, and I have a lot of antiques I display. We've been over there 7 times, and we still have a ton more items still to bring over. I'm like you Tiffany, I'm excited for my flowers to start blooming. I enjoy my gardens very much.
Good morning Tiffany. Enjoyed watching this video and all your videos. Have a Blessed weekend 🙏 😊
"Dressing like Indiana Jones" 😅
You look super cute!❤
After a week of cold rain its 75 today. Im in the yard for sure❤
Begonias would be a perfect choice for your annuals, they are hardy and work in sun or shade😊
Love Flox! Some planters surrounding your bench would be beautiful.
I totally agree!!!
Good afternoon Tiffany looking good it will look beautiful your husband did a good job too🌹🌼
Great job Tiffany, gardening is always labor of love. 💐❤️
I’m in southern Michigan, your limelight’s should be fine. They are one of the later hydrangeas to leaf out. I have a huge one that grows over the roofline of our one story house. The blooms are enormous!! We cut it back late fall by 1/3 because it’s sooo big, but that doesn’t seem to slow it down!! I don’t prune any of my other hydrangeas, just cut off the dead blooms late fall or early spring. We’ve never raked out our old mulch either, just lay a fresh layer on top every year. Thanks for sharing your gardening adventures, love it!!! ☀️☀️☀️
Good morning! Happy Sunday! ❤😀
Same to you!
Don’t forget March winds. Your yard will be so beautiful! ❤
Yes! Thank you!
In your zone, pruning or trimming of bushes should be after new blooms/growth are gone.
I hear you; however, I watch all my neighbors and people around me do it both ways and the plants always come back
I love Phlox. I have them in my retaining wall bed to eventually spill over. And like my daughter, I too have a love of Catmint and currently have 3. I live in CO so my area is much dryer and not nearly enough rain.
Woot a garden video you read my mind love gardenin…. In Cali I was like yea let me grow my sunflowers … Cali a little crazy we get rain I wake up this morning 4/14 and it’s 48° hopefully my sunflowers get some sunshine ☀️
Oh wow!
Love your yard. Have a good week.
Good morning Tiffany! I am right there with you need to do my flower beds! Happy Sunday to you and your family ❤❤❤
You too!!
Hi 👋 this is just something I’ve learned from experience of living in the same growing zone but in PA instead of the northeast which is basically the same but u do get a little more snow. It’s so much easier to do ur cleanup in the fall and spring with a blower. Yes, right in the beds with the much. Raking is backbreaking. Blowers is quicker and easier
Thanks for sharing!
Y’all have a big yard to landscape! How much land do you have? It will be beautiful when done!!
Thank you! In total we own a little over 2.5 acres
It’s going to be so beautiful this next season! Can’t wait to see it all come back to life 😊❤so rainy & cold here in Stockton, Ca this weekend. Not very Springy😮
I’m so right there with you. It’s been cold and rainy here too
Tiffany, I’m excited for Sunday lawn update, I love lush green lawn, mine is small only four years old, needs little help. Planning trip to US, so I’ll order get some good stuff. Summer blooms love following you as I’m zone 4b so little behind, I’ve had crazy rain ☔️. Garden easier Hoselink…if they reach out say yes!!! It game changer, heavy duty. 82 ft retractable. Excited for next garden update, hydranga heaven love that idea.
Thank you so much!
My husband and I just did alot cleanup too. Can't wait to get planting but living in Wisc.its good to wait.Bye
Love that!
Mayflowers bring Pilgrims 😉
I can't wait to see your results in your garden bed!!!! Are you into succulents? They are low maintenance, are they?
I can't wait to see grass too I'm sure it is so beautiful
Your yard is beautiful.
Thank you so much, Janice
How you do it I don’t know, but even yard work you make relaxing and pleasant!
Wow, thank you!
Everything is going to be beautiful when it comes up. Since you say you are learning as you go you may want to know that catmint or nepeta don't need to be fertilized. They like poor soil. If they are in too rich of soil they tend to flop over and especially as they get bigger.
Thank you! Someone else mentioned that. I didn’t know so I appreciate that!
You're welcome.
Love the hat it looks cute on you.
Thank you!
Suggestion: check out guara! If you like tall and whimsey and something that blows in the wind this is a good cottage garden plant. It's perennial in my area (7b). Some varieties are hardier than others.
Will do!! Thank you!
You look cute.. Indiana Jones! Love your channel.
😊 thank you
Ummmm why didn’t Indiana have a daughter - you look adorable - I need to step up my gardening attire!! ❤❤❤
Anita - I adore you. Thank you!
We've also been busy getting the yard cleaned up and making plans for the garden! I love this time of year! I noticed that you fertilized your catmint. I never fertilize mine because I was always told that catmint doesn't like fertilizer and it will make it flop...??? Does yours do well with it? Maybe I should try it and see what happens...
I didn’t know that!! Guess we will find out. 🥴😂
🌹👍✅
Hi, I ordered the Ahaava hand cream, any recommendations for a shower gel that smells nice?
Tiffany you like beautiful in your Garden hat! You are a labor of love!
Good morning what is the fertilizer you use plz
I see Espoma hollytone
Who is going to tell her, why you don’t plant sun plants and shade plants in the same area..🤔
.
Who is going to tell her snow doesn’t t hurt perennial plants.. even when they have green bud (for leaves) Anna Belle buds are not flower buds. If you have a deep freeze while buds are showing, lay a sheet over the plant, remove as soon as the sun comes up and the sun is on the plant.
River birch trees look for water, they will drain and suck every bit of water you have up. The roots system is a monster, good luck planting that by your foundation. I wouldn’t but you be you.
Best advice since you’re a novice at gardening, google plants and their characteristics before planting so you’ll know where to put plants that make them their happiest.
😊 Happy Spring
tip: always buy plants two numbers lower than your zone, as a given. There are more pro’s to this than con’s!
Thanks for the advice. My plants have done great for 2 years - we are doing fine. So, you told me, but I think I’m doing ok. To be honest, your comment feels a little condescending. Please be kind.
What fertilizer do you use?
I used Espoma Hollytone
What color is the stain on your porch beams?
It’s Early American!
❤Ana
Do you like to grow veggies 🥦🥬🥒
I haven’t tried any yet but I’d like to!
@@CharlotteGroveFarmhouse girl I say try a nice veggie garden 🪴
You are too cute ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
