A lot of the negativity likely stems from certain fans not understanding that the club is going through a complete overhaul in personnel and attitude. It’s the Liverpool Klopp blueprint. Ange has already beaten Klopp’s first year performance and has shown at least decent talent acquisition. We’ve seen real progress and Ange should be allowed to complete his second season before we judge whether or not to go a different direction.
Ang said he expects to challenge for league this season. Which makes sense as he doesn't stick at clubs for long. Buying kids doesn't match what he has said previously.

As an American fan, I literally can't understand the consistent, immediate negativity when signings are announced, after we were all wrong about Ndombele and Lo Celso. Also, the obsession with Eze is difficult to understand, he is a good player, but isn't a generational talent, is already 26, and may not have the pace Ange is looking for in a winger. We went from 8th to 5th last year, are we really thinking that there is any group of reasonable signings are going to take the club from 5th to challenging Arsenal and Manchester City in the league in one more year? Embrace the progress the club appears to be making, and what appears to be a much more deliberate, strategic approach to building for long term success... rather than being disappointed because the club isn't making moves that are rooted in big names an unrealistic expectations.
Could not agree more, I think it's just a mental switch that flicks on based on historical frustration for some fans, whereas I actually value a longer game approach , this may actually be combined the best pool of young generational talent at any club in Europe.

I think the young players will push on more experienced players like Bentancur and Bissouma and Werner to prove themselves… I think it’ll be a good vibe, that’s what I think… and Son as well, he’ll get pushed on to lead this young side. Plus Solanke will get 20 plus. Win a cup and get top four while building a young team that plays the Ange way.

The minute i saw Wilson Odobert I have to say i was very impressed and knew he was a bit special. I never thought burnley would let such a dangerous young winger go for sale. Now we have got him i think it's a good decision from Ange to get this player because Wilson odobert is a one on one specialist none of our other wingers can do what this kid does he will terrorise full backs this coming season.If he can avoid injuries and keep fit he can be a huge asset
It appears to me that Spurs are only signing players for the future. This would be great if we only had players good enough to win trophies thus year. The message I get is that we will not be pushing for trophies this year, yet again.

He had just joined the club and had not been able to see half the players in his squad play a meaningful minute. Look back at the squad we ran out. It SHOULD be more than enough to win that game. The players let us down. Now look at how many of those players are still in the squad....over half those players are gone or nowhere near the squad atm. If you can't see the change in that then you just aren't looking. You think you are entitled to trophies as a fan of tottenham? Might be following the wrong club mate.

Ange has had to build successful teams with a salary cap and in leagues that simply don't have the money to spend like the Premier League. He knows what he wants in his teams, he knows the qualities he needs to improve his teams and as he has said many times, he would rather spend 2x 50M rather than 1x 100M. I am going to sit back and enjoy this season, as I watched the 2nd season when he was at Celtics, when he was in Jpn and in Aus.
I like josh, gals a lot of sense. Enjoy these collaborations between you both. I’m personally excited as a Spurs fan. Been supporting the club 40 years and been through every emotion possible, been very critical of Levy and Enic over the years, but putting that aside I do see a vision and a plan at the club that we didn’t always have. The stadium and training facilities are world class and the stadium is going to help us compete financially. Results won’t be tangible immediately and we have been down the win now route twice and it didn’t work. We then hire Ange who had to operate with a mix of signings and players left over from previous regimes. Throw in juries and suspensions and results were a bit mixed but 5th was a decent first season considering we also lost Kane. Now Ange is moulding a team to shit his style and I think we should all back him and the club and stay behind them. We’ve got a core of really exciting young players that are going to improve and the future is bright. That said, we have to take the domestic cup and Europe more serious. A trophy would take this club to the next level.

Sadly many Spurs fans still think buying the most expensive players is the way to go? Their mindset is so brainwashed & conditioned having not experienced much success all they want is spend spend spend..Coaching is an art, it’s about building a positive culture, developing players, identifying players who “fit” into the Coaches system & players with the right character. Ange recruited Besart Berisha into the A-league from Kosovo who nobody in Australia or anywhere else knew about, turns him into an A-league legend & playing for his Country, Ange has done the same at Japan, Scotland & now at Spurs yet many fans are still so fixated on buying the most expensive players when we all know that doesn’t work unless you have the right Coach.
I think we need to be careful in assuming that this is what Ange wants. This wouldn't be the first time a manager's wishes have been ignored while Spurs chooses to do something else entirely, Redknapp, Poch, Mourinho and Conte come to mind so Spurs have history in this department. Did Ange want Veliz? Did Ange want Manor Solomon?
We are overdoing the signing of youngsters. This is 4 now and plenty in the ranks already. What we need is someone ready now and you need some experience to tie it all together. Look at Bissouma who is 27 and not reached the levels he showed at Brighton. We need a better player in that position. Solanke, fingers crossed he works out. Odebert will hopefully push and be better than Johnson, who also disappoints me apart from when he has 20 mins from the bench. The danger for Ange is the youngsters will be ready in 2 or 3 years and he will be gone by then. I think two more experienced signings are needed in defence and midfield before the window closes. Also sad Eze isn’t happening, but it looked unlikely with Olise having gone and Gueye surely will go to Newcastle. I think it is a very risky strategy.

The minute i saw Wilson Odobert I have to say i was very impressed and knew he was a bit special. I never thought burnley would let such a dangerous young winger go for sale.
Now we have got him i think it's a good decision from Ange to get this player because Wilson odobert is a one on one specialist none of our other wingers can do what this kid does he will

It appears to me that Spurs are only signing players for the future. This would be great if we only had players good enough to win trophies thus year.

He had just joined the club and had not been able to see half the players in his squad play a meaningful minute. Look back at the squad we ran out. It SHOULD be more than enough to win that game. The players let us down. Now look at how many of those players are still in the squad....over half those players are gone or nowhere near the squad atm. If you can't see the change in that then you just aren't looking. You think you are entitled to trophies as a fan of tottenham? Might be following the wrong club mate.

Ange has had to build successful teams with a salary cap and in leagues that simply don't have the money to spend like the Premier League. He knows what he wants in his teams, he knows the qualities he needs to improve his teams and as he has said many times, he would rather spend 2x 50M rather than 1x 100M. I am going to sit back and enjoy this season, as I watched the 2nd season when he was at Celtics, when he was in Jpn and in Aus.

I like josh, gals a lot of sense. Enjoy these collaborations between you both. I’m personally excited as a Spurs fan. Been supporting the club 40 years and been through every emotion possible, been very critical of Levy and Enic over the years, but putting that aside I do see a vision and a plan at the club that we didn’t always have. The stadium and training facilities are world class and the stadium is going to help us compete financially. Results won’t be tangible immediately and we have been down the win now route twice and it didn’t work. We then hire Ange who had to operate with a mix of signings and players left over from previous regimes. Throw in juries and suspensions and results were a bit mixed but 5th was a decent first season considering we also lost Kane. Now Ange is moulding a team to shit his style and I think we should all back him and the club and stay behind them. We’ve got a core of really exciting young players that are going to improve and the future is bright. That said, we have to take the domestic cup and Europe more serious. A trophy would take this club to the next level.
Josh talking sense we might want these big names but they don’t want to come and can get bigger wages elsewhere ffs let’s do something mad and get behind the team we have signed 4 players this year not including the Korean youngster no way are we signing another 3-4 we just need rid of gio and regi now for the first time in years I can actually see some kind of project

Sadly many Spurs fans still think buying the most expensive players is the way to go? Their mindset is so brainwashed & conditioned having not experienced much success all they want is spend spend spend..Coaching is an art, it’s about building a positive culture, developing players, identifying players who “fit” into the Coaches system & players with the right character. Ange recruited Besart Berisha into the A-league from Kosovo who nobody in Australia or anywhere else knew about, turns him into an A-league legend & playing for his Country, Ange has done the same at Japan, Scotland & now at Spurs yet many fans are still so fixated on buying the most expensive players when we all know that doesn’t work unless you have the right Coach.

I think we need to be careful in assuming that this is what Ange wants. This wouldn't be the first time a manager's wishes have been ignored while Spurs chooses to do something else entirely, Redknapp, Poch, Mourinho and Conte come to mind so Spurs have history in this department. Did Ange want Veliz? Did Ange want Manor Solomon?

We are overdoing the signing of youngsters. This is 4 now and plenty in the ranks already. What we need is someone ready now and you need some experience to tie it all together. Look at Bissouma who is 27 and not reached the levels he showed at Brighton. We need a better player in that position. Solanke, fingers crossed he works out. Odebert will hopefully push and be better than Johnson, who also disappoints me apart from when he has 20 mins from the bench. The danger for Ange is the youngsters will be ready in 2 or 3 years and he will be gone by then. I think two more experienced signings are needed in defence and midfield before the window closes. Also sad Eze isn’t happening, but it looked unlikely with Olise having gone and Gueye surely will go to Newcastle. I think it is a very risky strategy.
