Another UA-camr I watch occasionally just had a scan at Mayo with a new CT/PET machine. Can you explain the differences between this equipment and which scenarios you would use one over the other?
I’d love to know more about MRIs when you have “MRI safe” medical implants. I have a spine fusion and I’ve had 2-3 MRIs since the surgery 5 years ago, and every time I feel like I am being boiled alive from the inside out. I had to be given sedatives last time but that didn’t help. No one seems to have any information on why this happens, oh and my skin is normal temp to the touch during the MRI. It’s just crazy and painful!
