This has become my favorite thing to listen to while at work. Being a WoW player that doesn’t really have the time or patience to learn the deep lore, it is so interesting to finally connect all the dots and makes the universe feel way more meaningful now. Thank you for all your hard work!

People aren’t exactly quite hyped for WoW’s now slaughtered lore. 20 years tossed out the window. Everything supposedly done by some lame ass dude from another world, taking away the lore from most of the cool characters.
@@vebjsand Yeah this has more to do with Blizzard's recent failures in writing Shadowlands. Time will tell if 10.0 can right the ship and get us back to more stories like the ones covered on this channel.
@Nobbel, I just want to thank you for these lore videos. Your videos got me through my cancer treatments. I would charge up my tablet before my chemo treatments, and i would lay there and listen for 4 straight hours, every week for 6 weeks. I was to sick to play. Your videos brought me joy about the game I so love.
Taretha was the closest Thrall had to a sister and the Sergeant to a strict mentor. Jaina was the first human he can sincerely call a friend. Really glad his story ended well and he now lives with a happy family. One of the best well-written characters.

The aggra quest line and the binding together at the end of it always hits me. A hero of azeroth who only wants to to live a life of family with the one he loves.
No matter how I feel about the state of the game or Blizzard itself, I will always love your lore vids Nobbel. They are still my go-to when I want something to listen to while I'm working or studying. Thank you for all you do

I love going back and watching the "Full Version" lore videos, like movies.
If only for Nobbel's years of hard work, Blizzard needs to step up the game and get this story back on track. Hearing him talk Shadowlands and how he doesn't really care for it, yet still pumps out lore on The Jailer who doesn't deserve the treatment is a testament to his character. Yes this is probably his job, but I know all to well what it feels like when your job starts to beat you down. I've done the same job for almost 20 years and at times I want to rage quit so hard lol. So if you see this cheers man and thanks for the years of quality content.

There has never been nor will there ever be a Warchief greater than Thrall. he truly led the Horde's golden age. I made my main back in 2004 an Orc Shaman just because i love Thrall so much

How are you not getting more views, these Lore Essay videos here you are doing are a BLESSING FOR ME. They are fantastic to listen to while I work a horribly tedious job while learning the true personalities and growth of some of my favorite characters, Thrall being my absolute favorite of all time. Thank you so much for these videos Nob and I really hope you keep on doing these more for the sake of passion!!!!

I love the cinematic between thrall and saurfang. It took varok convincing him to come home, that he can't be a recluse hiding while the horde he built is collapsing.
Also varok making him realise, guys like the both of them don't get to hide, sylvanas knew thralls status and leadership was a threat, so she arranged to have him killed, just like she tried with varok.
Despite warcrafts problems, they did something no other fantasy has done. They made orcs into fully fledged and realised characters
Thralls story from Lord of the Clans through the end of Wrath was truly stuff of legend. Cata really took him down a janky path
I remember playing as Thrall in Warcraft 3 for the first time when I was a kid.
he's one of my favorite characters in warcraft lore.
He's the reason I went Horde.

Is there possibility of Nobbel making full garrosh story, including shadowlands garrosh stuff?
I'll never understand why blizz is so inconsistent with the NPC sizes, kinda takes me out of the world for a brief moment when suddenly a character is like 12 feet tall in one spot but normal height somewhere else
Mostly because of visibility in raids or combats in quests.

Hey Nobbel, would it be possible to get a compilation of class related quests? Not the order halls, but the little ones like "visit this shrine to receive your travel form" or "go quiet this elemental to receive X". I remember there used to be a bunch of these and I suspect most of them aren't easy to find nowadays with how leveling has changed.

Hey nobble question how did the jailer get the “good” version of sylvanas’ soul? Because if the uther cinematic means anything then her soul would have gone to the shadowlands (but not the maw) and frostmorne correct?
The whole segment you cover in this video is the reason why I devoted my life up to now towards this game. The story is amazing covered here. The remake of how grom killed mannoroth was weak. Nothing compared to this.
While I'm still set on my choice of not going back to WoW, I still love the story that was within it leading up to recent history (sans obvious facepalm moments). Thrall was and still is one of my favorites, so it's nice to listen to his story yet again and by you Nobbel!

I like how they have barely written anything for Thrall since cataclysm, really shows they know what they're doing (this is sarcasm)
It has more to do with the fact that most people got sick of Green Jesus after him doing no wrong time after time... and they did write for Thrall after Cata, he finally showed “human” attributes in WoD and was stripped of his shamanic powers after using them for selfish reasons and cheating in the Mak’gora with Garrosh... he’s also had cameos in all expansions since, so he’s not exactly neglected. Blizzard just finally realized that nobody likes a character who never screws up. Now if they could just apply that lesson to Sylvanas...

Thrall and others claimed that Vol'jin is the True Horde's War-chief.
So I have a question. What is the difference between thrall using the elements in his battle with Garrosh, and Guldan using the fel against Durotan(movie-verse). Both seem like cheating to me…..
I think it’s where the source of power comes from. The fact that del energy comes from the nether , and ultimately ties back to Sargeras and the burning legion is prob why. Thrall using the elements is prob ok seeing as it’s not viewed as a major taboo in their culture.
