Wow crazy to hear he's even played with Paul Anka. Paul definitely can throw a fit when he doesn't get his way with the band haha

I passed out playing a solo at a major Jazz festival. It was an encore and we were outdoors in 90 degree weather. I was playing with Eddie Palmieri and got a bit up there in the register and before I knew it I was being held up by the other tpt player..when I awakened probably 2 seconds later, I was still supposed to be soloing but I absolutely could not find the beat,so I started wiggling the valves and just making noise I thought(but high note noise) However the crowd went kinda nuts and On the flight back to NY ,Eddie said it was the best solo he ever heard from me! All I could think was WTF!
