Hey Sam, it’s so nice to see you genuinely excited and rooting so intensively for a viewer. Another thing that’s amazing is how when you’re watching we can see why you’re the top of the top. You mention every detail on the gods abilities, cooldowns and matchups, on the items that are built, on the positioning, xp in the map, and so many details that through your games you either keep to yourself or just briefly mention while having fun and commenting, so it’s amazing to see that deep knowledge of the game being pointed out constantly, it’s very educative. Thanks for these videos, Sam, you’re amazing!

This is so fun. Best spectate and teach content. You're so invested its awesome. Being able to be happy with someone's progress where they are, rather than where you expect them to be is definitely special.
Bird eye is better.
I think birds eye is good for the teaching aspect but since the fanbase is used to watching you play 99% of the time I could see some people liking if you break down specific moments in the player view if it helps explain the situation better.
Bro PLEASE more of this content this is gold. I know it won't always be so hype, but your perspective and attitude is why I sub and seeing that in a different way other than straight-up gameplay is awesome.
Bird eye? ..50/50 I think a combination of both would be nice. I liked the emotional rollercoaster xD. And also being respectfull since everyone can and will make mistakes (and it's not like we all play this for Esports, it's a game so let's have fun! GG to both.
I think the obvious choice is hybrid view. Bird eye can give a good overall sense for what both players are doing, but its useful context to see what the player sees

After having watched you for so many years, I just want to say I have been loving your energy and content more than ever lately. Seeing how happy you are to see your own viewer do well really shows the type of person you are and is a major reason I love watching you. I think the bird eye view is generally best most of the time but swapping to spv would be nice if you're talking about ways either player might behave if something is a bit less obvious from that view.
If only one or the other I'd definitely prefer the bird eye angle though.

I think roots were reclassified as a hard CC a few patches ago, so Marti is able to cancel Nem shield now.
Watching a rapid trip through all the stages of grief every time the protagonist died was hilarious. At 18:58, I was all set for the item to be regrowth or contagion and for your soul to visibly suffer grievous harm (good for him for choosing spectral, though).
For a video idea, I suggest combining this with the "duo duelist" Trelli and Rexsi did a year or two ago. Get another content creator and two bronze players. Watch the game live and give advice to one of them while the other content creator advises the other (I'm not sure how that would go; even among you GM duelers: the better player might not be the better coach).
Slight preference for bird's eye view, but either is good. Also, good job to NorScruf. I'm not sure how he stacks up against high level duelers, but he's certainly better at it than me (which, given that I only tried a couple of qualifying matches in 2017 and didn't try it again, probably isn't saying much... still good for him for giving it a whirl).
i think the player view is more entertaining, and bird eyes view is probably better for the coaching route. idk what the general consensus, like if people watch this to learn or mainly for entertainment. personally i watch for entertainment.

Honestly just do both 3rd person for killing time and just watching then when a play or teaching moment arrives switch to birds eye view🤷🏽♂️thats the best option imo

I trust in you being able to teach better via bird eye, but I think the player view is more visually entertaining. I suppose it depends on whether you want this to be more informative and educational or if you want it to be more entertainment. Maybe you could do a mix? Like keep it player view at times and then when you find a certain spot where you can teach better from bird eye? Either way, I’ll watch most anything you put out. :)

SPV (although it's more like the player's view or perspective, right?).
Anyway, about the game, I think the main difference between good and bad players is that one takes into account the enemy's resources (abilities, relics, build, cd), while the other only considers his own. So if the Nem guy is reading this I hope he takes that in mind.
As a side note, I think Nemesis works better if you go AS, and everything works better if you buy 2 or 3 defense items 😂

I dont get to play much being a truck driver but im going home in a couple days, plus i got a new wifi for my truck so i might be able to play while otr. In defense of nor, nem has really bad early clear and it's one of the hardest gods to get late game with in duel
birdeye is better if only one viewing option is considered for the whole game. I know dynamic switching is probably too much to ask for right ?

Reason why is I learn more from putting myself in the shoes of the protag player. With you commentating what you’d do if you were them helps me understand what to do if I were them.
