@@stefano3124 Lmfao he's actually telling the truth though. The GE in the IS300 is the VVT-I one. That one specifically holds about 300hp until you gotta redo the internals since it's got the weakest ones. This is why people much rather have the SC300 GE since it's not VVT-I and can actually take about double that stock since it's much stronger internally than the VVT-I in the IS300. Now, can they still be fast? Yes, and tbh they're not super expensive where you couldn't save for one like anything else as they've not been hit with the Supra tax yet but everything is high rn. But it would be better to source a Non-VVT-I simply because it's just better brotha. He wasn't tryna be mean saying that

I love this game, dont get me wrong, as a matter of fact, I recently used Taz's Lexus to beat the whole game and it was mostly fun, but rubberband AI makes nearly whole game of features, totally pointless.
The game should reward the player for getting better and improving, instead of opposite.

@@chiwiee Good try but no,I think I’ll make a vidio about it but to put it simply most people don’t know about it back then because computers back then can’t handle pressing 3 buttons at the same time but on modern computer or on a ps2 press left or right depending on where your target is let’s say the cop k9 is right press nos button right and speed breaker at the same time and you’ll launch the cop into the air but you’ll turn into a bablabe but I’d you time it right and counter start to the left you’ll both smack any car into the air and still drive normally instead of losing control and spin around

I noticed that the opponents in this game do not use nitrous either if your car is not equipped with it.Usually you would see them use nitrous immediately after starting the race

@@Kamido Game actually picks your opponents speed based on your car’s performance. Years ago i used a mod that would unlock all upgrades from the beginning,and after i fully maxed out the car even Sonny,Taz and Vic would easily keep up with you at 250+km/h. Sonny’s car does not have NOS equipped if you win his pink slip,but if you race against him in a car with NOS he will actually have and use NOS against you too. I guess it would have been too easy to just easily smoke any of these low tier racers with a fully upgraded car 😂
Correct. If you dont equip Nitrous, opponents cars WONT have it either.
This is especially apparent when you get pink slip for blacklist racer's car.
Once you equip the nitrous, all cars from now on, will have some version it. Usually, embarrassingly, the pink slip cars have worse nitrous than your car, BUT regular race cars, will reflect your own from my experience.
man, this game was my childhood. at this point i felt in love with the BMW E46, today i own 2 of them 🥰. I remember excactly the feeling, when you start with the m3gtr and then razor take it from you 😭. i was so frustrated as a child 😂

My copy of this game on PS2 has turned busted over the years and speedbreaker is required to beat most of the events XD
(Which mind you, I beat this game 100% as a kid without the speedbreaker. My younger self didnt even found a use for it. XD)

Sure, the AI is kinda cheating in these NFS games - Rubberbanding and stuff. It works both ways. And because of this, Razor would've drive much faster against your maxed out Porsche than he drives here against stock Lexus (but still it's hard to beat here like that)

- beating every single race (rating 120 through 400+) in a Rating 100 car in Heat
- anything you can think of 🤷🏽♂️

He's not that hard. I know that everyone hate that (quote) "evo bitch" , but the only reason he is hard is his dirty rubberbanding near finish line.
Now I want to see someone beat Razor with a stock starter car, and without forcing him into obstacles. Just use pure driving skills.
It's practically impossible to do, unless a glitch is used. On normal races you might get lucky, but on drag races, you're never going to be able to beat the AI unless you have good enough car.

@@deoxysandmew2162 Yes, you can keep restarting until your oponent crashes into some car, but I don't think the original commenter wanted to see a "pure driving skills". That's why I['m saying that there is no way to beat razor using the golf without relying on him crashing or pushing him into the side.

The most difficult boss are Earl and Ronnie by far! Razor is much easier to beat.

I think Earl's driving on the last turns of the second race, were the most difficult thing to overcome.
I had a hard time with #13, #10, #9, and #4 as a kid.

Fun fact: The Lexus is the Fastet car in the game, the other " powerful" cars are just waste of money, even the BMW. My latest achievement over Razor was to emediately selling the BMW. And till this day my 4-5 year old Lexus is a pure dragster because of me. Whenever I drive it I gives me pleasure. At roll race it's even faster than an 911 Turbo S 997

@@paklekj4429 You can have twice the amount of stats of Earl's car and he will STILL get better top speed than you. I had Junkman all upgraded Lexus lately, and it took me 3 to 4 tries to beat him, despite the stat difference.
Yet when I Junkman parts the Golf from Sonny, I beat him first try lmao.

Well, BMW used by razor,, have high stats and they are stock, comparing to normal cars you can bought in shop.
Razor is like a dog on a leash.
He is slower ( scaled down ) in range from around 300m to 370m "good boooi" . ( like from 0 - 300m away he is slower not 300 - 370)
If it exceeds this range he starts driving normally ( very frickin fast, no chance for win ). "He breaks off the leash" - So stay close to him
Rubberbanding is still very active to the point that sometimes it is more unprofitable to overtake him ( Speedtrap )
