It’s futuristic and military themed like bo3 and old mw. Right now it’s not that popular, but I think it should be. Iron sight also has many cool skins and guns that feels great to play with. PLEASE try iron sight and make a video on it so this great game can get recognition.
Yo bro, it would be super sick if you could try out the game 'midnight ghost hunt', me and my freinds truly believe it's a 10/10 game with a funny community, but it gets barely any notice. Good video as always
Last week, I bought bo3 for the 90$ multiplayer deluxe bundle. Simply for the nostalgia of the great multiplayer experience the game HAD. All I could do for multiplayer was stare at myself waiting in empty lobbies that would never fill up. I have over an hour of playtime without playing a single thing.
words cannot express how so happy I am hearing that out of all of what Blizzard has done, Starcraft has recieved the LEAST amount of negative backlash towards it, and I am very grateful for that.
My friends and I were already upset with overwatch before the announcement for multiple reasons, then the announcement killed any joy we had left with it.
We can all agree that microtransactions is the major thing that ruined modern gaming. Games these days are first built to have battle passes, and then they build the game. That’s why, like it or not, Fortnite is the one that needs to blamed the most too. Generally speaking, from Activision to The Pokémon Company, gaming industries are not treating correctly they’re consumers
Blizzcon 2017 felt like Blizzard's peak. Moira announced for a regularly updated Overwatch, Hanzo and Alexstrasza for HotS, BFA and Warcraft classic announced - Blizzard was firing on all cylinders. Six years later we're playing cashgrab watch 2 which is stripped back Overwatch with no PVE and more focus on its ingame shop and battlepass than balancing, Heroes of the Storm is gone because they couldn't be bothered to sustain the game and keep improving it and WoW is trying to recover from the disaster that was Shadowlands. The worst part of all this is that Activision Blizzard are happy with their work as they've maximised their short term profits before they're acquired by Microsoft who can handle the long term for them.
This was addressed perfectly. Another W from a W channel. Ur absolutely right. All gaming companies and games, stuff like that, quality on everything has dropped in media, I think now that stuff has been done so many times, people seem to produce more rushed content. But there are companies like Nintendo and PlayStation that are marketing exclusive, finished games that are truly high quality in story, and make us happy to wait long for a truly successful, finished game that developers put their time and effort into because they care about the project. Tears of the Kingdom and Spider-Man 2 are 5 and 6 years after the original game, but they develop quality content that doesn't disappoint the formed loyal community. A community formed from a successful, masterpiece of content. We have been waiting for just these two games for half a decade, and everyone is still hyped for these games after seeing how much the developers have accomplished. These companies need to learn from their competition to know how to be better. This shows that when we wait as long as we need just to get something we've been waiting for, it will shatter our expectations and we will have a true fun, masterpiece of a game. Every company needs to learn to take their time on something and focus on making the experience fun for players, releasing it should be the last thing on their minds. It's better to have a finished and polished product, so everyone needs to remember QUALITY OVER QUANTITY, take a step back, and reflect on an old lesson. (Dang I really spent time writing this entire comment instead of using the time to work on my English assignment... that's kinda sad...)
I find all this types of videos fascinating to watch because so many of us people can come to common agreements on how big companies are being horribly anti-consumer pushing horrible changes overall. However, most videos fail to dig up into the real root of the problem, which is, this companies are only hungry for money for a reason. It's not as simple as company is greedy, company is bad. Well, sometimes it is, and sure as hell Blizzard's CEO Bobby Kottick is a heck of a greedy individual, but there's usually more to the story behind the scenes. Things like the ESG and stakeholder capitalism, which is slowly but ruthlessly killing every single "big" company in the West. It's sad, and dystopian. We're living in Orwell's 1984.
Honestly…we’ve hit a new low in gaming history…we NEED new leaders who are not driven by greed but by putting smiles on everyone. But I’ve given up hope that this will change…
As a COD fan, I really hope XDefiant and Shatterline do well to challenge COD! XDefiant is f2p with no SBMM, map voting, true prestige and persistent lobbies! Fuck Activi$ion and their $70 crap! Edit:Shatterline should hit consoles at somepoint according to the devs.
we as people can solve this problem. if we collectively as a community just stop giving them money they will have no other choice but to fix what they have caused. it is partially our fault for funding this company even after everything that has been going on
Great video. I just hope that fans soon realize it's not worth spending your money on these companies, stop buying new Call of Duty games and stop buying battle passes. Only buy it when they actually put an effort and make the game good.
It sucks growing up with blizz games and year by year see them become more and more of a corporate business that only turns their games into addictive casinos completely unfinished and having less and less of the original dev crew on their team.
The real upsetting part is the people defending this saying that pve is still coming but just every 3 months, it’s not even about that, it’s the fact that they new before they released overwatch2 that it wasn’t coming, and they teased us saying that they’ve been working hard on it and it has to be delayed for a year, and when the time came they just said oh btw this thing that we promised and knew was not coming, yeah we canned it, whoops sowy, here’s some free charms and an icon. Sowy
Damn Macro you keep saying truth that hurts 😔 I hope this all can be fixed bc I loved the Overwatch One days and COD 2 days but now they’re gone, keep grinding Macro and spread your message.🙏🙂
And it’s really sad that I paid for a game that I can even play a year later so all my money was stolen by some dude not giving us what we want when it is not even that hard!!!!
The reason why fortnite Battle passes work is because each skin is unique even if it isnt they cost less INSTEAD OF CHARHING 15$ FOR A RED GENJI WITH HORNS!!! Also epic listens to the community each problem gets solves each season
I used to play wow a lot years ago starting around the lich king expansion and I played all the classes but there were two characters I stuck to and still remember 10 years later I played a bloodelf shadow priest named EvilPlankton and a troll monk
We are at a point where small indie game developers with little to no resources do better and more polished games than triple A games with their endless pool of money
Every time a company becom sucessful enough they change their policy to a quick money grab and fail to see they are hurting themselves in the long run.
I starting to like these video essays more and more. Don't get me wrong I love the for noobs series but I definitely want to see more of this type of content!
The craziest thing about blizzard is. Whenever they get hit with controversy, they just make an overwatch character. Gay and a majority of their community just forget about the controversy It happened like 2 or 3 times.
I mean the CEO literally went out and said "Im anti-union and we've had NO complaints of harassment in our offices and that the union societies are trying to unlawfully shutdown this company" and then he in the same damn talk said "I've worked with unions for a long time and support them alot"
The sad truth is these companies have to rely on wealthy investors to help fund games but they only will invest if they get a good profit for them selves not if the games good so I wouldn’t get mad at the people who develop the game
What went wrong? Simple. They valued r@ping their female coworkers instead of making games so they put as little effort that they could and implemented microtransactions instead of gameplay in order to get as much money as possible.
Been playing GTA IV for the last couple of days. Runs on 720p with unlimited FPS hahah (Xbox Series S), but I am so impressed. From start to finish the game feels complete. No microtransactions, no unnecessary online prompts (except for multiplayer), no bullshit. I wish we could have more single-player games like this one in the modern age.
You forgot to mention Warcraft Reforged, that what they shown at the Blizzcon looked like a great remaster with animated campaign cutscenes, new user interface and all. But at release it was a fucking buggy mess, everything they shown at the Blizzcon were gone and they also replaced the original Warcraft 3 with a shittier version. Everything they shown at the Blizzcon were gone? How familiar.
Ow2 was made because blizzard wanted a sequel to the game but the devs thought it was a stupid idea. So they compromised by making a huge overhaul to the game and calling it overwatch 2 & not because of PVE
You know, it’s funny to think that Tears of the Kingdom had some controversy with people thinking it was going to be $70 dlc. Compared to Overwatch, Zelda’s sequel is VASTLY BETTER due purely to the fact that the game is complete. And there’s a story involved. I know these two sequels aren’t really comparable since they are not trying to do the same things, but it’s funny to think that people were getting mad at TotK, when there are sequels that completely remove the original game forever.
But we still love Tony Hawk
I still love cod bo2
We really do
Yeah me too
Still love BO3.
Bird Man forever
I’ll tell you what went wrong. We gave them money.

Yo bro, it would be super sick if you could try out the game 'midnight ghost hunt', me and my freinds truly believe it's a 10/10 game with a funny community, but it gets barely any notice. Good video as always
Macro:there was a time where games did not come incomplete
Me an Indie player:BITCH WHERE!?
Last week, I bought bo3 for the 90$ multiplayer deluxe bundle. Simply for the nostalgia of the great multiplayer experience the game HAD. All I could do for multiplayer was stare at myself waiting in empty lobbies that would never fill up. I have over an hour of playtime without playing a single thing.
That sucks but what compelled you to spend so much money on such an old cod?
It’s about the root of all evil… money. Games used to be a way to deliver a experience to an audience now it’s just about money.
“Does this mean overwatch is back??”
“No.”
The reason for the sequel was never PVE, it was to get rid of loot boxes for a battle pass system and reset progression.
I hope somewhere in the far future Blizzard will return to it's old self
LOL you can wait for EA to go broke for that to happen !
Everybody remembers World of Warcraft, but nobody remembers Warcraft 1, 2, or 3 😢
words cannot express how so happy I am hearing that out of all of what Blizzard has done, Starcraft has recieved the LEAST amount of negative backlash towards it, and I am very grateful for that.
the fact that we have to pay 60$ for a 8 year old game baffles
I like how he says that they "Can't do it" and then loop right back around to "Its not in our plans anymore". Translation. "We don't feel like it."
Its funny how worst part for it is, i bought the game full price not knowing next week is 70%sale and i dont even know theres a refund option
Really this video brought so much nostalgia and pain at the same time
the ben 10 reference was gold
R.I.P Activision. If they don't do something soon their legacy is going to be ruined for future generations of gamers.
Thank you for making this video. Now I can simply send it to everyone that asks me why I hate Activision Blizzard.
The second I heard about the PvE cancellation, I deleted overwatch off my switch entirely
It can all be boiled down to battlepasses being in the game and it sucks that this monetization exists at all.
The stat of modern AAA games now is why indie devs and old AAA games are popular now.
It really is sad what happend to overwatch; they "worked" for 3 years for a microtransaction update.
Funny thing, when the video reached 4:04, my resolution dropped from 1080p to 144p, and it synced so well with Macro saying "wait what happened" 😅😅
This is exactly why i almost ONLY, completely trust annoucements from INDIE developers, and NOT greedt organysations
Looking at the gaming calendar we shouldn’t be in the ‘unfinished game’ era for too much longer
It's a banger of a day when macro uploads on your BIRTHDAY, thanks Homes 🗿🍷
The first overwatch 2 trailer almost brought me to tears when it came out. it still does but for much much deeper reasons.
Activision didn't buy Vivendi. Vivendi bought Activision and merged it with Blizzard, then spun Activision Blizzard off as a separate company in 2013.
This what happens when you nerf genji into the shadow realm
These type of videos are really nice recently 👌🏼💕
The craziest thing about blizzard is. Whenever they get hit with controversy, they just make an overwatch character. Gay and a majority of their community just forget about the controversy
It happened like 2 or 3 times.
I mean the CEO literally went out and said "Im anti-union and we've had NO complaints of harassment in our offices and that the union societies are trying to unlawfully shutdown this company" and then he in the same damn talk said "I've worked with unions for a long time and support them alot"
The fact that you didn't mention Skylanders, FREAKING SKYLANDERS, as one of Activision's most popular games is surprising. This is personal now.
The sad truth is these companies have to rely on wealthy investors to help fund games but they only will invest if they get a good profit for them selves not if the games good so I wouldn’t get mad at the people who develop the game
I waited 2 weeks, thank you .please be this consistent and ill subscribe in 50 different accounts
Let's just hope that it will someday come under new management. Their IPs and the devs deserve more.
World of Warcraft has probably been my favorite game of all time but man dose this company know how to piss off everyone playing their games
What went wrong?
Simple. They valued r@ping their female coworkers instead of making games so they put as little effort that they could and implemented microtransactions instead of gameplay in order to get as much money as possible.
You know its bad when macro posts a serious vid
I mean I wouldn't say all games came out finished with 0 bugs in any era. It's just more common now.
Then Bobby Kotick just had that interview that definitely helped a ton with both his and the company’s image.
>Activision Blizzard: What went wrong?
In short: Yes.
There are a few of them…most exclusive Sony games are pretty much what you described…not all though
That's what happens when a studio gets bought out by a company, they start pumping out dog water
You either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain
You know, it’s funny to think that Tears of the Kingdom had some controversy with people thinking it was going to be $70 dlc. Compared to Overwatch, Zelda’s sequel is VASTLY BETTER due purely to the fact that the game is complete. And there’s a story involved.
I know these two sequels aren’t really comparable since they are not trying to do the same things, but it’s funny to think that people were getting mad at TotK, when there are sequels that completely remove the original game forever.
