I'm thinking of a light box with grid lines drawn on a thin translucent piece of paper the same dimensions as your artwork placed directly over the light box, then place your working surface over this, taping it down securely to avoid movement will eliminate the need to erase any grid lines. hi im a little confused and hope you can help me, ive got a a3 canvas i need to square up from this app, how would i go about that dfo i just count the same squares out onto the canvas?

If you get a Romer scale from a compass you can subdivide your small square into finer grid.

Grid is great --used it or 50 yrs --now u have apps to put a grid on your foto !
