This method is really good for the beginner!! But i have a question when i finished my drawing, how can i erase the grid?? Waiting for your reply, thank you.
I know this was asked 6 years ago, but if you didn't figure it out, u need to use a kneaded eraser. If the lines don't come off entirely, paint over with ur medium you painted the canvas with originally i.e. gesso, white paint, etc.
Also use a spray bottle & a micro fiber rag & spray the canvas let it set for a minute then ball your rag up & rub canvas in circles. This should help a bit if your markings are to dark & it also open the pores on the canvas to make painter smoother.
Finally! This process has boggled me and you have helped immensely. Thank you so much!
This was so helpful as I hadn’t painted for years I had forgotten how to do this. Most others on UA-cam are not explained as clearly.
Excellent tutorial and just what I was looking for. Many thanks.
This was so helpful....I can't thank you enough for giving us this great lesson. THANK YOU!

just use a kneaded eraser.Thar will in a mild way erase pencil lunes without damaging the paper or canvas

If it is indoors, I would use a data show projector on the enlarged canvas instead of the grid method. Thanks for the video.
You should do a video of doing this method u make it sound simple. I thought of this idea too. What's the set up for it?
@@mannyuribe8780 you just project the photo onto the canvas and trace.
This is great, following this for a future drawing and painting lesson. Thank you!
Thank you for all your help! It's been great....I have purchased one video and will continue to purchase as you make it so very easy to follow :)
Best video on the grid method.
After erasing unwanted pencil grid lines, you can actually paint over the erased areas with white paint, as is the case with this zebra example.
This video helped me so much. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Hi I did struggle a bit with the grid bud after this I got it right thanks

So however many squares you have on the pic (14), you need to have the same number on the canvas?
