Weeds come back quick enough if you don't get the roots. All you're going to do is jack up your electric bill something fierce. A bundle of hose cans aren't cheap. You're better off w/ a large propane cylinder if you can get a hose to fit. Then there's lugging it around unless you have a high-wall cart.

Just use it correct. Scorch the weed, dont burn it and you will destroy the cell structure and the roots will die. No matter if you use chemicals or burner, you have to remove the dead weed, but at least you destroy the root. If you remove manually it's tedious, requires you on the knees and you often dont get the root out with the weed. After almost 10 years with a burner, I can safely say it's the way to go for me.
