I cannot stress how important Sentry Mode/Dash cam is. One time we were on our way to a hardware store and we witnessed two cars crashing on a stop light. Thankfully it wasn’t a serious crash and no one seemed injured. We weren’t involved in the accident (we were on a different lane) but we decided to record it nonetheless. A week later we got a phone call from a police station accusing us saying we were the ones responsible for the car crash. To make the long story short, we went to the police station, showed the officer the dash cam footage, and proved our innocence. Where we live Teslas aren’t as common as in California but the number of new owners is growing steadily. Our guess is the individual who accused us saw our Tesla and quickly wrote down our license plate thinking she could get away with it. (she was found responsible in the end). So always keep a thumb drive in your Teslas with dash cam enabled or a dash cam system in your cars.

I like pie. For the longer road trips, I love packing a picnic. It’s a truly relaxing experience to take a break at the supercharger and eat a nicely prepared snack or meal instead of getting fast food or eat at a restaurant.
The Frunk is not secure for valuable items because it can be opened using the emergency release in the wheel well without a key. That feature exists for emergencies when the 12v battery and high voltage battery die you can't electrically open the Frunk to jumpstart the 12v battery under the Frunk.
I thought the same but didn’t want to comment because now a lot more people will know 😬

That can only be done if the car is unlocked. If the car is locked, the emergency release will not open the frunk.
@@timl5970 This is false because how would they electrically unlock the car when the 12v low voltage battery and the high voltage propulsion battery are dead.

tip for a tip: if you are using the adapter to connect to your car from a standard EV charger get an adapter lock because some people will unplug your car in the night and that can cause a lot of damage and your car won't be charged
Sometimes it pays to cancel and restart the navigation, it might be that you can skip a Supercharger.
One tip I have is that make sure your car is preconditioning the battery for supercharging. One time I had a supercharger stop in the navigation and I didn't realize the car wasn't preconditioning the battery

Percentage when you left and it’s best to be on the bottom end of the battery 🔋 pack when traveling, which is weird but you just want enough to make it to the next supercharger.
Love your Tesla videos. My Tesla is supposed to deliver sometime in the next few weeks. I can’t wait. We drive 3 hours to SLC all the time. So very helpful video. Oh and I like pie.
Good call on the radar detector. It may seem like overkill for some, but it's a must-have for those that spend some time on the open road.
That River Mini really defined the word portable. I want one already.
Demo the range you show up with and the range you leave with at a supercharger. How it’s integrated with the Nav unit. Also the difference with L2 and L3 SCs with and without the silver rings around the handle. Nice job.

Tesla model Y just came out in the UK. Been seeing model 3s everywhere and it has been the best selling car in the UK full stop. Model Y is gonna be a hit
That power station doesn't take up a lot of precious trunk space. Looks great too.
I am currently using the River to charge my drones. With the size of the River Mini, i could put them both in one backpack.
Putting a cold wet rag on the charging handle will make it charge faster when it heats up. Yes it does work

Everything is water tight. What happens in the rain when you are changing... nothing.
Can u charge at 250 kw 15 minutes in different charger to do quickly charge ? There are Tesla users who say that the charging cable heats up, that is why the charging power drops if you change the charger theoretically you could continue charging at 250 kw in the next charger

Tip: charging the car to let's say 50%, driving 100miles and getting the next 250kw charger, it"ll take 20 minutes, and repeat this until you reach the destination.

the frunk can be opened from the outside without the key since the high voltage battery cutoff is in there and is needed for first responders to be able to open it and cut it

What is the River mini's usb max amp output. looking for at least 2.5 amps... did Ecoflow indicate what the mini's charge life cycle is like. many of there other units won't recharge several time before the pack starts to degrade...
I like pie. I do a lot of hiking in North Georgia I alway stay at a Hilton in downtown Atlanta and only recently found out there was a Marriott like 8-10 miles away that has no pet fees and charging stations. 🥲😩
Great tip on checking for slow chargers when booking a hotel. Doing a trip from Cleveland, OH to Central FL soon. Definitely keeping that in mind

We traveled to Boca Chica to see the starshing get built. & we got the S dual motor fsd last Christmas 🎄 😎 still have the cybertruck tri motor or 4 motor fsd on order, i got lots of solar & backup battery system to charge them both. i just bought more TSLA!!

In Texas the speed limit is (80mph) and all of the cars will go (90mph). Some cops won't care if you are speeding just don't go more the (15mph) over the limit cause then the cops will pull you over.

Here's a Tesla Tip. If you don't have the supercharger network and you still need to fast charge, get a CHAdeMO Tesla charger. Where I live, the city has free chargers so I could still fast charge for free but I'd need an adapter, worth the 500$ investment.

For the full sentry mode use a Samsung 1tb portable ssd
The adapter will only work on a J-1772 charging ports. It won’t work on a CCS or ChadeMo plug that EVGO and Electrify America uses.
