What was the total run hours on this turbine. They need a service and bearings changed every 20 flight hours. 132 flights would put it past this I think. Seized bearing?
Very sad but was avoidable. You had a problem after the previous flight. Take it home and thoroughly check everything and fix it. Secondly the fire extinguisher should be at your side, not in your car! 😬

Turbine blade flew off and blocked rotor, then pump filled with fuel trying to restart

A shame but easily avoidable by having a C02 extinguisher in your start up area and not in the boot of your car !

It was half of that, 13hrs.
Service interval is 25h.
Have to agree with the other comments, saw it coming after the first flight and should have been better prepared, but shit happens.
