I really do like the "hey, remember that one time in that one episode that one thing happened? Here's an accessory of that" think MP does lately. It gives me an excuse to go find and rewatch that one episode that one thing happened that one time.
@@loganpalmer7132 The gun didn't come out of nowhere if I remember correctly. It was just a random gun Megatron found laying around while he was at Optimus' mercy. So it's presumably someone else's gun.
A stressful transformation the first time. Will have to transform it a few times before I'm comfortable with it. But the results in both modes is spot on for me. It felt like the Galvatron from the movies. It turn from vehicle to cg crap to robot and back again.
I only just bought Wardog because I really don’t like how tiny all the other Warpath’s seem to be becoming. Your transformation and tips were an amazing help. If you had not described the shoulder transformation in such detail, I would not have been able to figure out that my shoulder assembly was screwed on too tight or with the wrong screw as I could not lift it up far enough to rotate over the peg that holds it in place in robot mode. With a screwdriver I was finally able to get him transformed and I won’t be transforming him back for a very long time :) Mine had floppy thighs though, they are much looser than is necessary to pose him in anything beyond straightforward poses. And no screws I can see to tighten that hinge, unfortunately... oh well, shelf presence is 10/10 regardless and he was one of my first and favorite G1 originals during my childhood so for me he was well worth the money!
It's kind of cool that he almost mass shifts. In real life, the Sheridan tank is about the same size as the truck. Then this robot transforms into a robot that's smaller than Optimus.
I cant help but imagine this as normal Warpath. So overconfident and eager to fight but by the time he finishes his "edgy" and complex transformation the fights over.
Even though it’s “spaghetti engineering”, it doesn’t seem too fiddly or over engineered, and I think both modes justify the transformation really well. Of course, I watched EmGo spend a legitimate half hour or so transforming Ultra Maxmus (a masterpiece-style IDW Prime), so everything else seems easier by comparison.
Oh hell yeah! Dunno just that seeing you have this toy makes me happy for some reason. Oh also, at 16:40 you basically had him in his G1 toy mode, thought I'd mention that
Looks complicated to transform but he looks awesome after fidgeting with it to compete his transformation. Warpath looks very nice. Great review emgo keep it.
I wanted to see the comparison with G1 Warpath because he's precious! And also wanted you compare transformations since the G1 Warpath transforms in 4 moves that take 2 seconds!
got that bad boy right away - its soper cool - a few loose joints on the downside (especially on Feet) but all in all one of the best Transformers I got.
If anyone wants to know, the vehicle mode of "Wardog" is a M551 Sheridan (and spot-on, if I might add it). That thing can not only fire shells for the cannon, but also Missiles. *Hardcore*
I felt the gun barrel on this figure was too short in tank mode, and they did it because it would be too long in robot mode - but I see that the gun barrel is really stubby in the real world tank so I guess it's supposed to be short.
I'm laughing now because I had the G1 Warpath as a kid (didn't know his name then, got him at a junk secondhand store), and I loved him because of how simple his transformation was, just pull him up and pop the arms out. This seems a little bit more complicated.
On my Wardog, I could not get that shoulder joint to slide up for the life of me. I popped the arm off the ball joint and removed the inside screw to take that whole ratchet joint out. I don't see how it even moves up and down, it appears that it doesn't, it must be bent. Bending it by the way puts serious stress on the peg that the screw sits in. I saw stress marks in it on mine, so I would take the screw out and manually move it into position to tuck that ratchet onto the the peg, then put the screw back in. Just my opinion. He's very hard to transform, so I doubt I'll ever put him into tank mode again.
My friend has brawn and huffer cards come together on this set. It's weird but in a good way though... There's also gap in his tank mode and also bad paint job which is quite unfortunate for him
This figure was a nightmare to transform, plus, trying to transform the left arm, it snapped off. No excessive force, just popped apart.Took the makers nearly a year to send a replacement part. Never transformed it again. He stays in robot mode.
There are no parts-forming. The "shield" is no different than storing a weapon in alt-mode. Except in this case, it's also cleverly used as a cover for the underside.
Can everyone stop asking why he changed his intro, its his channel he can do what he likes. Any way "My peoples" makes the channel feel more of a community.
wow thanks Emgo after watching yr vid..I've transformed Wardog..like more than 10 X! It's addictive, at first it was kinda annoying but once you get the hang of the quirks, the various tabs, pegs & whatnots..it becomes enjoyable.
when you leave Warpaths lower body in tank mode it sorta looks like one of those combiners from G1 After the movie...I don't know the name of that...stop at the point where he is just about to tab in the back pack and you will see what I mean...only thing missing is the jet...
BADCUBE! Are GEWD! Get it Get it! LOL I'm Excited! Wardog! 26:30 HEY thatz the Handsome Coronation Starscream! We should bow in his presents. 29:04 HEY That woz real KA-POW-WE! O.O KWWWWWWWWWWLLLLL
Hey Emgo! Any thoughts on doing “old school” JTI’s on some older figures. Like this warpath or X transbot Boost , Badcube Sunstreaker. Etc. those are the worst! Getting them back into vehicles would be awesome help!
HEY! I've been doin tank drifting in Battlefield 4 for YEARS!! Its totally a thing!!😂 Also, on another semi off topic subject, I had named a couple lvl 150 kibble tamed Mammoths Warpath, & another Rampaige in Ark.. They were BEASTS!! (Rampaige is a female)
There are some clever things going on here, but it all just makes me more eager to see Takara do it. If they can't give him rolling tracks I'll be crushed.
Listen Emgo when toy companys make some like Toyworld Bonecrasher and Scavenger treads this will be just amazing but now it static vehicle mode . . . Oh comon , they can do better than static treads .
+mohd hirzi zaini I think sunsurge is way less complicated than people make him out to be. way less complicated than wardog and a pretty straightforward transformation. I had no problem with sunsurge at all.
+emgo316 I feel he and all of badcube's toys are far more complicated than they need to be. Sun Surge and the Sideswipe MP mold are night and day, for example.
I really do like the "hey, remember that one time in that one episode that one thing happened? Here's an accessory of that" think MP does lately. It gives me an excuse to go find and rewatch that one episode that one thing happened that one time.
I usually remember those and sometimes I think of it before they say what it is.
Like how the new MP Megatron comes with the gun and sword that came out of nowhere in the G1 movie?
@@loganpalmer7132 The gun didn't come out of nowhere if I remember correctly. It was just a random gun Megatron found laying around while he was at Optimus' mercy. So it's presumably someone else's gun.
Fast and The Furious: Tank-yo Drift. Not gonna lie, I'd watch it.
ua-cam.com/video/q0sU1qVcVQg/v-deo.html
This transformers transformation is not as difficult compared to other third party figures. Though I will not be transforming mine back to tank mode
Tank mode speed is 2? Really? I know this tank. This is XM551 Sheridan which is a light tank. He must be faster.
A stressful transformation the first time. Will have to transform it a few times before I'm comfortable with it. But the results in both modes is spot on for me. It felt like the Galvatron from the movies. It turn from vehicle to cg crap to robot and back again.
the only problem I have with most of the 3rd parties is the transformations are just a pain...I start appreciating the MP line more and more...lol!
BTW, The Tankmode is based on the M551 Sheridan Light Tank. Just in case you are wondering if is a actually real tank.
Yeah and the Sheridan actually can drift too. Tank drifts aren't fictional.
An awesome toy. Looks like a War For Cybertron version.
"he shot the microwave" xD
Not the microwave! How is Prime going to heat up his pizza bagels now?
robbymanable Maybe he can get the rescue bots to heat them up, LMAO!
The oven or megatron's burning corpse... Your preference
Emgo do you watch Mighty Magiswords
anything Yeung of course not hes too old
Nooooo!!!! He shot the microwave!!! Now how are we going to make pizza bagels tonight?!?

Looks like its cold pizza bagels tonight....
It's kind of cool that he almost mass shifts. In real life, the Sheridan tank is about the same size as the truck. Then this robot transforms into a robot that's smaller than Optimus.
They say that guys with canons on their chest are tempted to shoot anyone who tries to hug them

after finishing the upper body but still had the bottom in vehicle mode, it reminded me of a zaku tank lolz
Oh hell yeah! Dunno just that seeing you have this toy makes me happy for some reason. Oh also, at 16:40 you basically had him in his G1 toy mode, thought I'd mention that
my type of toy...
his gun looks a bit like a vacuum cleaner..
Took me hours to figure out the shoulders for tank-mode, because the one I got from eBay didn't come with the instructions. Worth it.
Looks complicated to transform but he looks awesome after fidgeting with it to compete his transformation. Warpath looks very nice. Great review emgo keep it.
BAM POW! What an awesome toy! KABAM BLOOIE! I'd buy this! (Kudos to those who got this)
I wanted to see the comparison with G1 Warpath because he's precious! And also wanted you compare transformations since the G1 Warpath transforms in 4 moves that take 2 seconds!
got that bad boy right away - its soper cool - a few loose joints on the downside (especially on Feet) but all in all one of the best Transformers I got.
Turns out it wasn't actually the microwave, but Ironhide's chest. "But PRAHHHHHHME! urk"
This figure looks so cool, i love complex transformations because i feel that those are real transformers and not cheap imitations
just noticed that this Warpath turns into the American M551 Sheridan AR/AAV light tank, so... that's kinda cool to know :)
Hilariously, Fate of the Furious did give us the heroes getting to play with a Ripsaw, which is a ripping fast light tank.
If anyone wants to know, the vehicle mode of "Wardog" is a M551 Sheridan (and spot-on, if I might add it).

Yeah, the gun is more of a howitzer than a real tank gun.
if this were a stop motion review the shoulder mess with all the joints inching past each other, would look like a incomprehensible jiggle
Shotgun vs. medieval knights? Groovy.
If anyone is wondering Warpaths alt mode is M551 Sheridan
Transformation is pain in the ass but it's worth it
definitely worth it
+emgo316 since when optimus prime like pizza Bagels instead lasagna
Another fine review, good sir. With your help I've finally got mine into robot mode and he'll never transform again!!!
im glad they made his alt mode a realistic sheridan instead of some random unrealistic tank like 90% of the other tank based transformers
The tank he is is called an "XM551" it basically fires rockets at its enemies.
when you where half way through the transformation he looked like something out of terminator like the terminator with tank treads
very intimated with this figure not sure if he will ever see robot mode! You are a professional Emgo and I'm just not sure about this one!
I would think he would be taller, but I just ordered him and once again it's because of your review. thank you!
I'm laughing now because I had the G1 Warpath as a kid (didn't know his name then, got him at a junk secondhand store), and I loved him because of how simple his transformation was, just pull him up and pop the arms out. This seems a little bit more complicated.
The engineering on this thing is nuts.
After I transformed this figure I never even transformed It again
Seems friggin ridiculous to transform!
me an you bolth

That turret remainder of either the T49 light tank or the M41 walker bulldog

Just ordered the OTS-04V, I think it looks amazing, can't wait!!
Thanks for your review
I can't believe Warpath shot the microwave. Now how is Prime supposed to cook his pizza bagels?
watching this 8 years after it was posted and wouldn't you know it - they did the tank thing in Fast and the Furious.....
This is my favorite figure of BadCube's yet.
wow thanks Emgo after watching yr vid..I've transformed Wardog..like more than 10 X!
It's addictive, at first it was kinda annoying but once you get the hang of the quirks, the various tabs, pegs & whatnots..it becomes enjoyable.
Fast and the Furious 2017 will have a tank on it.. You can predict the future.
when you leave Warpaths lower body in tank mode it sorta looks like one of those combiners from G1 After the movie...I don't know the name of that...stop at the point where he is just about to tab in the back pack and you will see what I mean...only thing missing is the jet...

29:04 HEY That woz real KA-POW-WE! O.O KWWWWWWWWWWLLLLL
Gotta love the M-551 Sheridan alt mode
I'm actually surprised this is based off of an actual tank, The M551 Sheridan, which has a 152 mm cannon.
Compared to BadCube's Sunsurge i find this figure to be much closer to Masterpiece quality
emgo cult chant "Second verse, same as the first. Palm in your face!"
war dog is obviously a m551 sheredan light tank from post ww2
Bad cube engineering 9/10 for awesomeness.
Hey Emgo! Any thoughts on doing “old school” JTI’s on some older figures. Like this warpath or X transbot Boost , Badcube Sunstreaker. Etc. those are the worst! Getting them back into vehicles would be awesome help!
Gotta thank Autodesk for all these neat engineering happening. When I wa at the age for these toys they are like 1% of the complexity of this.
Hey i need your opinion emgo, im thinking of buying the complete combiner wars defensor, is it worth it though
There are some clever things going on here, but it all just makes me more eager to see Takara do it.
If they can't give him rolling tracks I'll be crushed.
This transformation looks like a SUPER PITA!
reminds me of a CGI transformers movie transformation. not a toy transformation but an actual CGI transformation
8:16 Ok now your going to pull it out...-Emgo316
Their one chance to make rubber treads like Generation Armada Megs and they didn't do it, and of all figures to not do it on.
Errrrrrr... Probably sticking to my generations deluxe Warpath. The transformation of this thing scares me.
Damnit Warpath I had pizza bagels in there!
The ending is hilarious!
Hmmmmmm.... A drifting tank..... that sounds familiar.....hmmmmmm....,I think it started with a "b." Hmmmm...... NOPE
Armored Cores may have been designed after Warpath.
Red Knight? That's my Fan Made LBP Sackboy!!
Listen Emgo when toy companys make some like Toyworld Bonecrasher and Scavenger treads this will be just amazing but now it static vehicle mode . . . Oh comon , they can do better than static treads .
this is how you do transformers, absolutely genius.....
I feel like this toy should come with a flashlight to help with transformation.
4:54 PARTS FORMING?! WORST TOY EVAH!!!! ;) Love your reviews BTW
*These 3rd party Transformers rarely disappoint. I'm not worthy of owning even one.*
*Warpath might as well be Emgo-San's future vehicle.*
At 0:17 : never give him a hug
You are great how did you do that amazing! This is one that will be in tank mode for me to much to rewind in my head wow
Holy shit did they have to make war paths transformation so complex and so long I mean hell
Nice but I think I'll stick with my Generations Warpath
The tank mode is an American Sheridan
26:05 I thought Warpath was a Minibot!
What! Warpath shot Shockwave's cousin?
they have billion of dollars.
Upper torso looks almost like a Core from Armored Core
Good stuff man! thank you for making this video
It looked like they're gonna do a mp devastator. Are you gonna do that, em?
Bing !! Bam!! Booooom!! Knock’em down !!!
great video, 1 question are you going to review combiner wars slingshot and wild rider, and thundecracker
Does anyone really complain about a shield and gun partsforming? Do they expect them to be molded onto the character's hands?
bad cube toys are mostly "complicated" to change form..i had one - sun surge but i hate it so much
+mohd hirzi zaini I think sunsurge is way less complicated than people make him out to be. way less complicated than wardog and a pretty straightforward transformation. I had no problem with sunsurge at all.
+emgo316 I feel he and all of badcube's toys are far more complicated than they need to be. Sun Surge and the Sideswipe MP mold are night and day, for example.
+MTWENTY ok i had to agree..credit to the rnd team for this cool bot!
Imagine a kid doing this. Emgo is an adult and struggling
Thank you sooooooooooo much! This was the worst transformation of my life!!
