I love Sako and Valmaster, but I kinda hate early game SF. Most my recommendations are Ken, Chun, JP and Luke. Then there are the Guile, Cammy, DeeJays and after that it falls of pretty significantly. No Juri, Kimberley, Ryu, Gief anywhere
As a casual viewer, I just enjoy seeing players using low-damage output characters like Chun who are able to overcome that deficiency and win. I don't know, but it looks like Chun-li is back up to solid mid-tier in SF6, though.

Chun doesn’t have low damage in this game if you optimize her combos. Ken’s damage is just ridiculous.
