@@darkk_star there is some debate about what the spoiler shield is but I think the two major ones are the extra time added to a video to make it look like it might have been longer, and a comment which does not spoil what happens in a video. If you open up a video and the first comment says, “darkk_star won the championship!”, it’s been spoiled for viewers.
Every killer is placed into a tier for balance. The lower tier killers (myers, ghostface, etc.) get to use the best perks and most addons bc their kits are not amazing by themselves. Higher tier killers (nurse, spirit, etc.) have their perks and addons restricted. This is just to make it more balanced for both killer and survivors, and to get us more entertaing matches. Perk loadouts are picked in advance by the teams to avoid the second team playing to have an advantage; imagine a team knowing their win condition is a 4k with all gens done, and picking NOED and No Way Out to thrive in the endgame. So if you submit a loadout with a perk that your killer is not allowed to use due to their tier, you don't get to pick a new one that could play into your win condition, you just get the disallowed perk removed. The half a hook penalty happens every time a team forces the game to restart (using wrong loadout, picking disallowed perks/addons, two survivor players picking the same character, etc.), with the only exception being issues outside of the players' control, such as a dc from faulty wifi. @@smileyace2954 In theory they should have known, but everyone makes mistakes. Even the caster said he didn't notice at first bc he didn't remember Demo's tier. It rarely happens so idk they probably got confused.
It's a BO3 and Calamity won the first 2 sets. The whole mastermind bit is the organization sacrificing their watchtime statistics to put up a spoiler shield, so you never know if the series ends at 2-0 or if it goes to the tiebreaker.
To expand your vocab a bit: Quintuple = 5 times. Sextuple = 6 times. Septuple = 7 times. Octuple = 8 times. I don't know any further than that, but I thought I'd share my knowledge on the off chance someone wins more than four 50/50's.
