I've gotta say I am very excited for this game and the inclusion of the Star Fox team was enough for me to preorder. My kids for sure will love to play with the toys too and I'm excited to play co-op with them. However I am really concerned at the level of media attention that is being driven by Ubisoft. Too many times a highly advertised game is a disappointment. For this game I don't think the disappointment will come with the gameplay, nor the graphics but I bet its gonna be the length of the game. I'm betting an 8 hour main campaign +3 hours of option quests (+ another 2 hours of additional Star Fox content for the switch). There will be no special ending based on your character or ship either (except for the star fox stuff). So really your cost of entry will not feel like its received its full value. I realize that this is a lot of supposition on my part and I am really hoping I'm wrong.
I've been following this game pretty closely and I think I remember hearing about a 30 hour main campaign followed by a sandbox style post-game. Some of that time might be from the Starfox content, but that's still pretty good. There's also the possibility of further story DLC. So far, the only thing I'm worried about is the Lance's stats. It seems to have the same stats as the Arwing and Pulse minus a hefty chunk of handling. It's weird...
Ubisoft's website has a page that let's you preview the ship combination system. So far the coolest looking combination is the Lance's body, the Zenith's wings, and the Arwing's wings (upside-down)
I dread to think what you could have done with all 8 of the ships (including GameStop and target exclusives if you're confused why there are 2 extra than the non exclusive ships)

The reason why I said that is because I was thinking of getting that game for the Nintendo Switch someday but I'm trying to figure out which weapon, ship, and other customizations is perfect for dealing major damage and to all the enemies when trying out very hard difficulty.
Just FYI, when you use your hand to make your cam focus on a small item, remember that your wedding ring will more than likely prevent that since it's smaller.
Impressive Star Fox collection. You need to put the GC games in better position though. I really like your T-Shirt as well. Seeing you put together parts looks so much fun. Makes me want to get more ships now to create all the arwings from Command. Can only hope rest of team (Slippy, Krystal, Falco and Peppy) get to be pilots too. Then I could really have the full team of ships and pilots.

I challenge you guys to use those ship parts to build as accurate as possible a replica of the Arwing from the SNES game. Look for images of the original SFX Arwing online.
Every wing has a different stat that it boosts. Like defence or energy. I think most pairs of wings boost 1 stat, but some have it where the left boosts one thing and the right boosts another.
Now if ONLY we could color the in game wings different colors. We could easily make the "Black Arwing" by changing the G-Diffuser color of the arwing wings.
i bought it digital so it isnt a big deal but am i the only one that thinks they didnt go far enough and should have allowed over+under weapon slots?...i like a certain amount of symmetry. and dont get me started on that damn hodge podge ship, good paintjob but overall look makes me sad.
I own this game I love it only problem is starfox navigators r not playable and u can't change shield defenses and with shaid as a playable character this wkend for free content her intro is awesome her rwing dodges superior she has a disappear ability but she can still be hit that's not to productive I thought she had on a off the radar/cloak ability I havnt bought all the ships but attaching ship pieces to mainships change nothing or add no type of defense of offense so that's not necessary still waiting on wkend content to see who's really valuable in the game and weapons I would like some feedback please on some of the other pilots and weapons so far the only valuables r judge and that stasis gravity missle
Why don't you show how it looks in-game? That would help people to decide which parts worth buying if they wanna go extreme. Without showing which combinations work in-game and which doesn't this video is pointless, since even a 3 year old could attach parts randomly.

If you attach them upside-down and backwards, you get a ship that somewhat resembles team Star Wolf's Wolfen ships.

This game is SO good that it doesn't need online multiplayer, local coop is just fine

I have the switch version and all the weapons preordered but i don't plan on buying any other ships at this point.
A second ship will function as a second life in game, without it, when you die, you start over.
