I am just getting into doing this myself, having never had to use this particular function in InDesign before. My pages were all very much static for print. LOL! Thanks for a great tutorial!

Hello, I am a newsletter editor for a non-profit, and 1 of the newsletters I produce in ID is both printed, and published online then the link is emailed, and embedded on our website. I am wondering if I create an epub, would I need to also create a separate version for print? I am mainly curious about what the document would look like on the "Download PDF" option on the online publishing link. Would it show all the final states of the interactive version, ie, your sliding title? I am also inquiring because we have a national magazine, which at this time is only available via print copy, but we would like to offer an online subscription too. My newsletter is printed on standard letter size with borders, but I know the magazine prints to the edge of the page. Thanks!

Hi Angelo, I too am grateful for your videos as they have gotten me through this project. However I am stumped, I watched your 'adding sound' which i total get, but I'm trying to figure out how to have it play in a loop over the whole 24 pg doc (.indd pub online) can't seem to find the answer
Hey Meridith! Thanks for watching and learning! :) As far as I know, it's not possible to navigate through pages for Publish Online while having the sound play throughout. I know that was a PDF Interactive feature, but I don't believe it translates to online. When you place your audio on the page, go to Window > Interactive > Media. In the Media panel (with the audio clicked on the page) you will see some options there to Play on Page Load and Stop on Page Turn. The latter was set for those that didn't want sound to play past that page. But again, that was meant for PDF Interactive.
Your videos have been so helpful! Thank you!! I do have a question - I finally was able to upload my epub to my Wordpress site but cannot figure out how to put it on a page for people to open and read. Is this impossible?

I know there are different readers, and if ebook readers are like web browsers, each one renders a page differently, and so what is the best way to proceed to ensure that the book/page you design can be viewed as intended on each reader? Thanks.
Hey there. Thanks for the question. I would just say always consider what the purpose of the design is and what platform/device it'll primarily be viewed on. As long as you create with exact dimensions in mind, you should be fine!
Hi Angelo, is it possible to roll over the button for a text box (state) to appear but it disappears when the cursor moves off the button? Thanks for your tutorial and help.
