Former Met Police DCI Says Jon Venables Should Be “Kept Inside Prison Forever”

- Child killer Jon Venables is to face a two-day parole hearing, which could potentially see him released from prison before the end of the year.
Venables served eight years for the murder of two-year-old James Bulger in 1993 and was freed on licence, along with Robert Thompson, and given lifelong anonymity.
TalkTV’s Kevin O’Sullivan speaks to former Met Police DCI Mike Neville who says Venables is “clearly a danger to children and should be kept away from the public forever”.
Kevin adds: "I don't trust the parole board to make the right decision because they have a history of letting very dangerous people out onto the streets".

Venables lost his rights the day he was sentenced for the most horrendous acts he committed against that poor little boy.
God help the parole board if they let this monster free.

The parole board is beyond incompetent so totally agree witj kevin about that....he didnt show he had changed before his last sentence, which he then breached and committed more offences against innocent children.
How on earth they do not allow the context of his or.anyones offenses is beyond offensive...it makes all decisions a blind one hence releasing dangerous people back into society

This individual (I'm not going to say his name) is a narcissistic psychopath, there is no fixing him. In my opinion, he needs to go to your Hospital Broadmoor, normal jail is not working for him. He needs intense therapy, which would take many years if ever, it would be safer for the Community and for him to be kept away from the Community.

Wonder how other countries would deal with this scumbag? USA would definitely have been the death penalty once he reached adulthood! They don't mess around and have a tougher justice system than the UK and I would imagine other countries in the world would have never released him. It's a joke this country at times (to many do-gooder in this snowflake generation) , he should never have been released in the first place. That killer nurse Lucy Letby was given a whole life sentence so I think Venables should get one as well as he's a danger to children and society.
He should be in a prison for the rest of his life. Venables is one of those ppl who was born evil.
The thing is the powers that be protect this scum bag, they never show an up to date photo of him and when he is let out he has a new identity, so you never know just how close he is to your kids!!!!!

I also believe that some prisonerz deserve a second chance.
However saying that i dont beleive they deserve 3 or 4 chances. Lets not forget he had his second chance and went straight back into public life and tried to pick up where he left off. Basically being the type monster that preys on children. And i wonder how many chances he got whilst out on his life licence before they acted and sent him back behind bars.
I believe he is never going to change and it will only be a matter of time before he is back in the headlines for more of the same crimes so no he has definitely wasted his secnd chance.

Fool me once and shame on you. But fool me twice and shame on me. They have been fooled more than once by him so he knows how to do it again. Hope they take that into consideration when dealing with his case.
Mike Neville began with a perfectly composed and steady picture, even had ‘welcome to Gibraltar’ in the frame, then moves to a worse position for no reason and hand holds the camera phone, so we get a wobbly head interview throughout.
i agree ive seen these parole board geriatrics and at one point a woman of old age said to a triple murderer, oh hes such a pleasant man really. scrap these geriatric do gooder parole boards and make em serve their given sentence to the full.

I was about to say the same thing. He was never known as Jamie. Jamie is completely different name from James.
I think I have read every book on this case. One thing I read was that the two boys decided to kill James because they all were tired, they had nobody to take him off their hands and do at the end they disposed of him. That is not true…. As soon as they led James out of the mall to the canal right outside the mall, the abuse started. They knew him all of 5 -10 minutes before they picked him up and dropped him on his head, leaving him wailing and with a big bump on his head. They didn’t even have time to be tired of him….People don’t want to admit that they premeditated a little toddlers murder because what they did to James makes you utterly sick to your stomach, and is no matter how many years go by…. It’s still traumatic to think about.
No Jon should not get another chance…. he shouldn’t have even been released at 18 years old. He should be institutionalized for the rest of his life, padded walls in locked cell. The BJS need to accept that he is not going to be rehabilitated into society…. He is in his 40’a now….he is a grown pedophilic man now. He is a danger to children. This shouldn’t even be discussed at this point….Even the most deranged serial killers have not tortured and murdered another child the way James was, by the time they were 10 years old! His brain isn’t wired right & never will be. The BJS needs to protect their innocent civilians against these kinds of dangerous predators. Look, Jon has been given multiple chances & failed, you can’t say you didn’t try. It’s past rime the truth is accepted and the safety of other innocent people is a priority over this man’s incurable mental disease. .

This British justice system took away John Venables rights and replaced them with privileges. The scum bag should never be released and if he is, I pray his identity is exposed so he can face public justice. My moto is, an eye for an eye.
