The PlayStation Portal remote player does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it extremely well, and the Pulse Explore earbuds are the best wireless earbuds I have ever used hands down. The work she does on a lot of her playstation tech videos is really underrated and better than some channels 5 times the size. I really liked that latency test method she did without having to actually get super expensive testing equipment by using baseline recording. Brilliant.

I would like to try out the Portal out of curiosity especially if Remote Play works better on the Portal than on other devices but my one concern that have with the Portal is the likelihood of the analog sticks ending up having Stick Drift problems which makes me wish that they would make the Portal have the capability of swapping out the analog sticks like the Dual Sense Edge controller.
Gorgeous SC plus the PS Portal and to think people buy it day one despite is an accesory yet a cool one.
I dont know about everyone else but ive been playing COD multiplayer on my portal and it works perfectly with little to no latency. However I have my PS5 hooked up with an ethnernet capable. With wifi its hit or miss.
I guess im just really unlucky. My Explorers constantly disconnect with my Portal. She didnt seem to have any disconnect issues. Nice!
Can you clarify if the pulse explore earbuds work with the PSVR 2, I am hearing that the earbuds always disconnect
Like you said online gaming could be a problem. Im just wondering if it would work ok at another persons home who has internet. Im taking care of a family member and dont wanna cart my ps5 back and forth. Was hoping the portal could be a good use for me.

Yes they connect via Bluetooth or ps link so it works anywhere :)

is there a game/chat volume? so if i want more game i can turn that on over chat? or does it have to be done in the ps5

@@Ghost-jy9hk as in hit the PS button on the controller and then choose the sound icon on the bottom of the screen. From there you can basically change the chat mix with two simple button presses on your dual sense. It's really fast and actually just as easy as having to take your hand off your controller and pushing a button manually.

idk im a bit disappointed by the explores snax. this is coming from someone who loved the audeze Penrose which has planar magnetic drives. I tried messing with the tips as well but it just sounded a bit muffled like how Beats by Dre usually are. really hoping they add settings to change the sounds a bit
Are you using them for music or gaming? For gaming they are spot on. For music, I think the frequencies can use adjusting. But I honestly hear every single detail better than anything I ever tried for gaming. I didn't even know Audeze Penrose made wireless earbuds.
@@SnaxanGaming oh they sound ok for gaming just wish it sounded more clearer. Sounds a bit muffled. When u turn up the volume it shouldn’t be too bassy like overpowering everything else u know what I mean? I tried it with music and it’s not bad, not AirPods Pro level but close I guess.
Also I meant the audeze penrose headphones haha. Heard Sony partnered with audeze tho so I guess that’s how they managed to put planar magnetic drives on an earbuds
@@iLLGetAlongWithYou Ah I see. Yeah headphones usually will sound better than ear buds at the same price point for the most part. That's interesting, for gaming, these are the clearest sounding earbuds for me, you can hear every single detail. Maybe the bass frequency is too loud for you and it doesn't seem balanced with the high sounds? I agree though that with music, the mix doesn't seem to optimized, but I think it's just as good as my airpod pros. I think what would really help is if there was an equalizer option for frequencies since all of us don't hear all the same sounds in every frequency the same

The reactions to the explore earbuds are all over the place. Some people say they’re ok. Tons of people say the sound quality is pretty mediocre. Idk what to believe
I think it's because they are tuned and locked in for gaming. They sound awesome to me when playing PS5 games but not as balanced for music. I feel like an option to change the frequencies with an equalizer would help it alot for other uses. The other thing I noticed is that when they aren't position the correct way with the PS logo sitting upright, it makes an impact on the sound. But for gaming I hear a lot of details I've never heard before and it has great low end.
@byiihizq glad you like them. I got mine a while ago and tried everything I could like them, but they just sounded terrible to me so I returned them.

Out of curiosity anyone have trouble connecting the explore ear buds to the ps portal? Ive done the steps, even went to the ps website to see all the troubleshooting and still get the portal to show the earbuds as connected. The blue light becomes solid and all like it has connected. Works with the dongle and cell
At what stage are you having trouble getting it connected? The earbuds have to be in the case with the case open then hold down the link button for 8-10 seconds. Make sure the portal is on when you do this. When the case is blinking blue you can then push the PS link button on the Portal and it should connect.
@@SnaxanGaming I've done it all and it just doesn't connect to the portal. I get the buds in the case with the blue flashing and when I press the link button on the portal nothing happens
I know this post is old but I had the same problem. The fix was me restarting the portal.
