- "Victorian Treasure" is opulent, richly decorated and vintage.
She is a big chunk of joy with many specialties and surprises on the outside as well as inside.

22 cm x 16 cm x 9 cm - inches: 8.7" x 6.3" x 3.5"
5 signatures, 180+ pages
The cover is made from pretty upholstry fabric, decorated witha double topper from an old book cover and a velvelt fabric which forms a hidden pocket. Decoration is lavishly spread across the cover be it laces and ruffles, be it doilies and vintage buttons.
The spine is decorated with stunning appliques applied on a coffee dyed brocade fabric.
The closure is made from a pretty brocade trim and invisible push buttons. It is further decorated with a vintage button.
The theme is a melange of vintage, romantic and shabby chic elements and the color scheme ranges from muted tones to more vibrant ones.
Inside there are many flip outs, self created tags, papers and laces/ruffles.

Thank you for your kind words. I usually start with the cover which gives a trend for the main colors and the overall direction of the journal. And then I start looking through my material, buying what I think would by nice and just go from there and let the journal grow. Just get started and do not overthink is my advice. Martina

Yes, this is what I meant to say with „push button“. What is the correct term, I was googling the English translation for the German word 😧
I think it is just called a SNAP - a metal 2-part snap that has 4 holes on each piece for sewing it in. They come in various sizes and colors. Found in fabric and sewing shops, and craft stores. 😊
