Saying “thank you” to pedestrians and fellow cyclists, is free and a gift that keeps on giving. Nice to know there is at least one other person in Telford who understands the importance of good manners while out on the trail. 🙏
@@Miketyler No worries! It was both a pleasure and a honour to be watching your YT post. Alas I witness first hand, the bad manners of fellow cyclist every time I take my bike onto The Silkin and it drives me mad. I will never understand the reluctance by cyclist in saying “Pardon me” or simply using their bell to warn other people of their presence. This is why I felt the need to comment.
:-) I do love this area for a local place to play.... and I love the ebike! ;) however, it’s great to ride a non ebike too as they feel so nimble compared.
Thanks for the video 👍🏻 I had a crack at it this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it despite getting myself somewhat ‘temporarily misplaced’ in the woods, d-oh! Cracking view back across Telford from the top of the path where it meets New Works Lane, even saw some deer in the field. Keep ‘em coming! 👍🏻
Mike Tyler I’ve got a (analogue) Whyte 905 😉 The path up from Dawley Road to New Works was tough going but I just about managed it, the part near the top by the handrail was particularly joyful (not sure that’s the actual word I’d use), especially after yesterday’s rain had washed away a lot of the top dressing and created a load of ruts. I can’t believe I’ve never ventured up that way before, been up and around the Wrekin and Ercall but aside from a walk through Limekiln a few years back I don’t really know it very well, it’s been great watching your videos for some fresh inspiration.
The paths are on the local ordinance survey maps, So I just go and play. Great fun on an ebike as you can go up and down as much as you like. I head out from st. John's church in Lawley through new works, toward the Wrekin. There are miles of paths to explore
HI Mike, Great vid again, love the camera angle and your enjoyment. I'm just about ready to purchase the bike when it comes back in stock. A few people have commented on the effectiveness of the brakes. how do you find them? cheers 👍🏻
got some great trails where you live have you changed any of the settings yet or are you still running stock i run trail 300% boost 250% and eco i adjust as what sort of ride i would like to have
Evening Derek, how you doing? I’ve left all the settings the same currently. I’ve also treated myself to a gravel bike, not electric, just a standard bike, and I’m loving that too!
Mike Tyler I’ve found one now pick it up on Saturday if all goes to plan. I do have to travel 2 hours to get it but it’s worth it for the savings. Does the bike feel cheap ?
Delwyn Andrews well do for finding one! :) it doesn’t feel cheap at all, I’m sure some of the bits are cheaper options, but the main bits are brilliant. I hear the breaks are a weakness if anything, but not been a problem for me yet.
Mike Tyler thanks for the info mate I’ve just found a voodoo zobop group on Facebook which has some good advice. I think I’m getting the last one in the country which is in Telford. But definitely worth the road trip 👍🏻

I don't think I could ride by and not say thank you. But that's me in life. You're right, manners cost nothing 😊 Thank you so much for your message.

🥰🥰🥰
Great video buddy, that down hill is brilliant, we nick named it two trees as you can fit between them just before hitting the gravel lol
Cheers james, love the nickname... very fitting!
Some fun looking bits of single-track, love the motor sound too.

Very nice trails, Mike. Enjoying your videos as well, all from Pekin, IL U.S.A. -Tom
Reaching the USA? Cheers Tom, hope you are safe and well over there. Glad you like the videos.
Another great video!
Thanks, sorry I missed this comment! 👍
Mike Tyler All good!
Hope you are ok, I’m waiting for the mud to bigger off!
Mike Tyler same here, my bikes in for repair atm. Motor has gone. 4,000 miles
@@eMTBExplorer I’ve heard a few people have this issue with the motors ☹️ hope it’s sorted
Thanks for the video 👍🏻

Great stuff, it’s fun getting lost sometimes, and to be honest, that’s how I find the best bits.
What bike do you have?

The hand rail bit is now the bit I love! Hahahah ebikes!
How’s your bike? My lad had a boss nut full suspension ‘analog’ I might have to give it a go to remind me or the joys!
Mike Tyler Absolutely love it, bought it at the end of 2018 after almost 20 years bike-less and it’s been a revelation.
great video, great trailers
Cheers 🍻👍😊
Great video!
Thank you :-)
Nice trail bro!
I have to ask where abouts is this lime kiln trail as I'm a local telfod ebike rider .

Sorry for the slow reply. I don't mind the breaks, but I'm not an extreme rider. Also, I'm only used to fairly low spec bikes 😊
@@Miketyler thanks Mike
I bought the bike 3 weeks ago
Really enjoying it, it’s brilliant
@@jasonridyardhome very pleased to hear it 😊😊😊😊
Whats the fastest you can go I know its restricted to 15.5 mph but if you peddle while doing 15.5 mph will it go faster.
Yes it will go as fast as you can pedal, The restriction just means the motor doesn’t and help after 15 1/2 mph 😊

Thanks anyway...
I have been trying to buy one for the last two weeks no stock anywhere 😕
I think they seem to have run out at the moment, but I’m sure the 2021 model will be in soon and it should be even better? :-)
Have you looked at the similar bike in Decathalon?
