How can I import the monthly budget profile for activities? The budget monthly spend comes in excel from the subcontractor for each activity (500). I need to import it as it takes too long to manually change it. Is there a way to do this?
Use P6 23.12 , copy and paste direct resource assignments.

This is a really excellent new capability for planners that are working at client level and are not generating budgets from within P6, but need to add them to their schedule. It would be good to do a video just on this new capability.

thank you sir for this awesome explanation it has worked for me, but in case we have an activity with two resources with different budgeted unit ( EX : activity duration 2 days - Project manager 6h/day and labor 8h/day ) how could we do that in excel, or we have to do it manually in P6
No you can do it on excel. Just add duplicate the activity with different resource name

Get productivity rates from the company or get it as per your experience. You can download productivity from Google.

Hello,Why during importing, the list of project is not displayed in « selected project »?
if you are importing a project which already exist with same Project ID and name.than during import it ask that do you want to update existing project.In that case if you have selected update existing project than it will be shown only the match project.if you select create new project than their will be new project added in the eps.but projects will be not shown.Because the excel file you are importing have specific data source.Which is related to specific project and it only integrated to that project. Excel import cannot to be done to different project.thats why only the project relevant to the excel data will be displayed and can be changed .I hope you got the answer.

Sir, How to edit the Resource Assignment area. I want to change the manpower. For example Activity 1 - 3 months duration. Month 1 - 6 painter, Month 2 - 8 painter, Month 3 - 8 painter I need to edit this much.
But in primavera automatically it is changed for example M 1 - 4 days, M 2 - 6 days, M 3 - 7 days like this
Change spreadsheet into budget units and remove any intervals.
Than you can edit by double click in a cell.

@mahesht4162 go to resource assignment. On right side their is spreadsheet. Right to change spreadsheet columns to budgeted units and also intervals as spreadsheet intervals in same options
