I love this! How do you get your dry ice?
But do they pay their sponsors in wine? 😊 🍷
Silicone instead of hot glue will life much longer and dont break at all.
This is impossible
This was an awesome build. LOVE the step by step tutorial and how many "Don't do this step" LOL. It is so much more fun to see the things that went wrong than an edited perfect version. Thanks for sharing
Glad to hear it! This one had more than enough mistakes haha.
I agree. It's realistic, hilarious, and shows the problem solving process. Only thing missing is cussing like a pirate (like I do) when things go wrong. 🤣
I agree, it creates a much funnier video and helps so that if I try and make it on my own I have an idea of what to do if something goes wrong
That’s so cool. Would look great on the camping trick-or-treat table. Instead of stir sticks maybe a charcuterie board with witch’s fingers, Eye of newt and that kind of stuff. Great project as always.
Yes!! Love that idea
Fun fact, Eye of Newt is just a nickname for mustard seeds ^^
This was a great tutorial. I'm gonna add this to my yard haunt display but with a tea pot pouring into a cup and a couple ghost sitting on tombstones with a floating table between them.
Yes!!!! That sounds amazing
Love this! So happy to see Halloween in July! 👻
Yes!! It’s going to be a great season. 🤘🏼😄
Halloween sneaks up very quickly so it's best to start a few months before. Lol
Even when you know how the illusion is done, it still looks magical! You're inspiring me to get started on my Halloween props. Bwahahaha... cough... Ahem... I meant Thanks a bunch guys, catch ya on the next video.
Yes! Thanks Ray 🤘🏼💀
I was planning a build almost exactly like this last year. But instead of a wine glass, I was going to do a cauldron with a potion bottle and one of those mister/atomizer things in it.
I unfortunately ran out of time before Halloween with all the other projects, but its definitely on the agenda this year.
Thank you for this video! You guys did an amazing (and hilarious) job!
Awesome!!! Would love to hear how this turns out when you make it.
One of the things I love about your channel is that you don't shy away from showing mishaps and how you overcome them. It's helpful to see some of the troubleshooting when you're trying to diy stuff
We sure make plenty of them. 🤣🤣
If you heat the tube (like you did to bend the middle) at the end, it might actually stretch to form over the adapter you removed from the pump. Then no need for tape.
I completed this with a few modifications. I used a spell book for the base and screwed the goblet to it. Also, if you break open a highlighter marker and soak the ink cartridge in water it glows amazingly and I used an orange one for the liquid wine.
Jay and Jamie make such great props, but their so simple! I love watching y’all!
Thanks!!!
Great job. A plastic wine goblet will definitely need to have a sturdy base. Nice wine dance!
Thanks, Kathy!! 😄
This is sooooo cool! I love how you showed the process with the things that worked and didn’t work! so excited to see what you have in store for this year of Halloween!
Thank you!! So many projects coming this year. 😄😄😄
@@WickedMakers can’t wait!
I love this. You could attach the cup to a serving tray with other "spooky" things.
Excellent build. I love the fact that you show the process (warts and all). Very well done.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
The trial and error Really helps! Glad you left that in. Watching you both work thru challenges is inspiring! Great build!
Thanks Jay! Really glad to hear you enjoyed it.
@@WickedMakers You guys Rock! Fyi, I saw your Skelly-Candy Slide on Good Morning America and it inpired me to do a Sandworm candy slide during COVID. The whole neighborhood loved it, we were one of the only houses where kids could trick-or-treat! Over 95 kids came to see our Beetlejuice theme haunt! The most EVER. Thanks to your channel! 😉😎
Brilliant! Thank you for keeping in all the "oops", all the the trial and error parts in the video. How many times do I watch a DIY youtuber and their project goes perfect, then when I try it, all the problems show up. keep up all the great work!
Thanks! We make plenty of mistakes and always try to include them as we go. 😄
Jamie and Jay great video. I liked that you showed all the different methods you tried to get the flow of wine correct. And that you didn't give up. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!! It’s always a process but that’s half the fun. 🤘🏼😄
An alternative method for the wine glass is to have it be fake. The pump and supply of water etc are all hidden in a box below the prop. The "wine glass" really just works as a funnel. An advantage to this is you get more mass to make the prop stand up.
I love ❤️ this prop! I'm so glad you guys really show mistakes & really explain, going thru the testing on camera! It's so helpful and greatly appreciated ☺️ can't wait to 👀 what else ya'll have for us this year!! Thank you Jay & Jaime
Thank you so much! 😄😄😄
Floral stem tape water proof. Also glue gun or heat tip as first plug in stretch plastic to fix tight. I use these pumps every week
I love how they tell you all of the mistakes they made, and they own up to them in a funny way that makes you smile or laugh. I think that is so much better than a perfect video because it is just that much easier to do when you know what not to do.
Sidenote, we'd be great friends, cuz you guys like dark chocolate. We are such a small group of individuals.
Just had a thought 3 days ago that I’m prematurely excited for fall and Halloween and now this is expediting they thought
Yes!!!
Such a breath of fresh air. Funny, cute, interesting. Rated E for everyone who doesn’t want to see T and A in their faces everytime they come on youtube
😄😄😄 glad you liked it
Glad to you all back. I really love these videos. This one was missing it bloopers though.
Partially because the whole video was bloopers haha. 😅
A new video! Halloween came early! Happiness!!! I don’t know what I love more the Joy of Painting hair or Jamie’s tank tops. Awesome project (as always)
🤣🤣 thank you!!
Seeing all the trials and errors you guys do throughout the video is not only comedic, it also makes it so much more motivating to do these projects myself! If you only showed the highlight reel I would feel like I would never be able to do these projects, because adjusting on the fly is total part of the real process!
Yes! That is exactly what we hope to hear. 👋😄
This is awesome. Can’t help but notice the dollhouse behind you. Just inherited a ton of miniatures. Gonna be doing a bit of wicked modifying
Nice!!! Yeah we have a video on how we made that one.
Was having a hard time figuring out how I missed that one. But looking at when it came out I realized we were in our fourth week without electricity after Hurricane Ida. Guess I didn’t go back far enough. Will definitely be checking it out for inspiration. I also inherited 4 unmade wooden dollhouses. Finally doing something other than repairs
that came out nice. Can you show how you attached the bottle to the tube?
Just finished mine after trashing one acrylic tubing, lots of quarters in the swear jar, a prayer to jc and threatening to scrap the project. Over all easy peasy😅
Yep sounds about right 🤣
This was great! So it's just a balancing act when you place the bottle in the tube. I can't wait to do this! I love all your videos! Can't wait for more Halloween DIYs!! 🖤🧡
Yeah! It’s easy 🤘🏼😄
@@WickedMakers haha clearly🤣 Thank you for all the dos and don'ts 🤣. And thank you again for all you both do to help us all figure it out together 🧡🖤
One added thing you could have done is use resign in the bottle half way with the same color that is coming out of the bottle so that bottle looks full part way and then it pours out of the bottle into the cup.
You guys always find such creative ways to use a simple water pump and make it an amazing project!!
Thank you!! Glad you liked it
I mean... the overflowing thing is a great way to tell if your power went out? It's a feature.
Hahah yes
Great Video but couldn't help but notice you have a 3d printer in the background that could make a lot of the fittings perfect like a fitted support for the inside of the cup to stabilize the tube. Clear or red filament just below the liquid level.
We do! But whenever possible we try to build stuff in a way others can replicate if they don’t have larger tools.
this is brilliant. im gonna do this with a tea cup and teapot.
Such a great idea! Wine making is easy and fun. You two should try it! Thanks for another fantastic build
Is it? I think we should try it 😄
another great prop! i would say to offset the leverage addon, you could use an actual wood panel and have a skull or a rat added to give it a rounded off look!
Dang that is a way better idea than what we did!! :D
I love that you guys put the products in your description. I totally forgot. Thank you.
👋😄
Happy Halloween! I'm glad someone else is already ready to celebrate!
So ready!!! 😄😄😄
Yeah, that turned out great. I can see it took a few days to fine tune, but y’all brought it home.
I love how real this is (both the tutorial and the build). I love how you didn't edit out your mistakes and how you took a break from the project and came back to it with clear minds(ish). thank you for making such wonderful fun videos. you really helped me step up my Halloween game and my neighborhood loves it and thanks you for it!
There are USB powered pumps (technically impellers but...) that are capable of 24 inches of lift. They are much easier and safer to work with than the 110v AC pumps.I have a few them that I plug into a USB power bank for my daughter to play with in the bath tub. (USB is 5 volts and totally safe around water IF you don't plug it into a wall adapter.)
WHAT! Ok definitely going to try this out. That is awesome advice. Thanks Bruno!
Do you have a link for one that would work with this project?
I have the exact same cup that you're using and I use mine for coffee and soda.😊
I used a solar pump and put it in a plastic cauldron with red water
Yesssss was super excited for this!!
Yessssss
Awesome....I'm gonna build that myself.
Love you guys!!! Just found your channel my birthday is always near Halloween and you’re helping me make it AWESOME!!!!
Awesome!! Jaimie’s is too 🤘🏼😄
Never ending wine. Lol. My wife could use that.
Hahah can’t we all though
Love your videos! Without them, I would never have made my witch and cauldron set up!
Thank you!! 😄😄
ooh! The addition of the dry ice took it up a notch
Right?! Yes!
Awesome! Might have been a good idea to mention / link to your skeleton drinking wine project, very similar and awesome effect. = )
Thank you! We were definitely inspired by the similarities.
So it doesn't make a mess you could leave the pump running and pull the bottle back so it is angled down. Then the pump will fill the bottle.
Oh dang, great idea!!
I admit I was laughing when you two were dealing with the tubing. I was also yelling heat gun in between my laughter. My family knows I’m crazy so it’s ok
Hahah 😄😄
Omg 😱😱😱😱😱 ones again u nailed it THAAANKK YOUUU DEFINITELY DOING THIS 😍😍😍
Yesss!!! It’s so fun
Please help I just can't fine that acrilic tube anywhere and do u happen to have the size I try ordering on the ur link but they said there out of stock 😔
You nailed this one! Looks awesome and so real how the wine is flowing. Have to ask a favor though, when you add the pop-up words to the video (like when you were gluing the cord) have the words stay on a bit longer. :-)
Thanks! We’ll definitely keep that in mind re: the words.
Wow that is one awesome Halloween prop, thank you so much for sharing 🖤💀🎃
Thanks for watching! 😄
I love to see the whole process! It's so much cooler to know all the testing that went into this project! Also I loved Jay's "happy little accidents" hair edit 😂
Absolutely love your channel. Great builds done and easy for folks like me to understand and want to give it a go myself!
Thank you!!!
So Awesome!👌👍 For a second i was like "What?! 😳How does the pipe part looks so bent and fluid?"😂so mysteriously cool. 👽
haha thank you!!
I NEED this
Yes you do!
Great job guys. Definitely would be a cool Conversation Piece.
Thanks!
I started following them last year around Halloween on UA-cam I love their page so much I am actually making their giant spider that they made last year love your guys's videos keep up the good work
Send us pics when you finish the spider! Would love to see. 🤘🏼💀
Sure will
Where at
I really like that. Simple, easy, and cool
This is bewitching! They think it's a ghost pouring the wine
😄😄😄😄
I absolutely love you guys. You make the coolest things
Hahah thanks! 😄
@@WickedMakers No prob. Spoopy season will be here before u know it. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with
You guys are awesome ! This really looks good.
Now try making your own wine, don't call it poop till you've tried it. #1 get a container of your favorite fruit juice (like Welch's grape juice) #2 remove 2 cups of juice #3 add 1 cup of sugar per quart or litter marked on the container #4 add 1/2 teaspoon of bread makers yeast or wine makers yeast (wine yeast is stronger) #5 shake until sugar is dissolved #6 loosen the lid enough for pressure to escape and place in a warm, dark place for 3 weeks. The warmer it is the faster it works. You can make it dryer by cutting back on the sugar but start with this recipe. I don't rack it, I just leave it in the container and pour it slowly so the sediment stays in the bottom.
I did this as a joke because several guys in our community make wine. I put this in a wine bottle and invited them over, they liked it and ask how to make it. They sounded like a bunch of chemists and refused to believe the answer. lol One guy still makes it.
Hahah! Wow. Ok I’ll try it
@@WickedMakers Let everybody know your results good or bad. This time of year I let mine work in the attic. Not somewhere often associated with fine wine. lol
Absolutely love this. Can you please post links to the bottle, cup, tube, and pump you used? Thanks again! 🤘💀
Thanks! Everything is in the video description
That would be such a cool center piece
Yes!!!
I so want to do this! I wondered if I missed the part where you glued the bottle onto the pipe, but I guess it just stays from friction?
Yep, it’s just held in by friction/gravity. Makes it much easier to store/move around and works just as well.
Awesome project guys! I will have to add this to my list for our party!
Thanks! It’s a lot of fun to make.
You should use heat shrink tubing rather than tape.
Thx for the video.....Jamie did not seem so keen on the hug.....
That was very cool!!
Hey, how'd y'all do the candles on the skulls? You have a video for that too? Or a tip for it??
Yep we have a video on that one 😄
You both make me very excited for Halloween. Awesome vid!
Glad to hear it! That’s why we’re here. 😄
Jay Ross is something I didn't know we needed 😂. Great video guys!
Hahaha thanks guys!
So far, sealing the wire hole with hot glue has been the biggest headache 😩
Imagine if you were getting poured wine and the guy just says, "Oops I got a little on my shirt," and just walks off with the bottle just floating there.
Hahah yes
Absolutely love it. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!
Is there a way to get a list of all things your used? Especially the water pump? I would love to try to make this! Amazing video!!
It’s all in the video description 😄
A very good idea for my Halloween decor. Even in France we are already thinking about the preparation. Thank you 😉
Love hearing that you’re celebrating Halloween in France! Thank you for watching. 👋😄
@@WickedMakers we try to live up to your decorations but our stores do not offer too many items. thank you for your tutorials 👍👏
Cheers to thinking about Halloween in July🍷😆
🤣🤣 The forever season! 🍷💀
This was amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!!! 😄
Just saw this....you guys really know what to do. I have seen several of your videos and I am always impressed. Maybe mount this on a stack of "old books"? Just a suggestion. I'll be looking for more of your vids! You guys really elevate the items that you recreate! Rock on!! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Your ideas are always so unique! Loved it 😍👌🏻
Thank you!! 😄
AWESOME!!! making this...What size tube should have been used.
The one in the video description is good
Awesome thanks!! This fits my life so well lol
Could add mini mist puck, for foggy look
Yea nice!!
Hey guys, love your inspiring videos. Agree with some other comments…love you share what doesn’t work or all of Jay’s mistakes :) ha.
Terrific chemistry & humor.
Thank you!! 👋😄
As usual absolutely amazing. Thanks for showing the work in process with all its...... adjustments :P
UK follower here, I just love your content it is spell binding. I am absolutely committed to making this being a Halloween freak however I am struggling to find plastic wine bottles this side of the atlantic so I am going to have to search for the lightest glass bottle or opt for a plastic water bottle instead (which I think would spoil the illusion). Hopefully I can replicate your amazing efforts.
Did you try the Amazon links in the video description? Not sure how well Amazon does in the UK.
@@WickedMakers Thanks for the quick reply both, Yes I managed to get the exact goblet and found a mini pump of the same size and flow rate. However Amazon doesn't have any credible bottles that match the 'bordeaux' style. I will not be defeated so I will be expanding my search to independent retailers. The clear rigid pipe will be delivered tomorrow so I am hoping to get an idea of how much weight that could support, maybe even support it more inside the cup if necessary. I started ordering electric circuits for other animatronic projects but my shopping list has swiftly increased with at least three of your projects I would like to complete :)
Excellent video ya'll..keep it up!
Thanks Ben! 🤘🏼😄
Love it!! Turned out fantastic.
Thank you!!!
10/10 for skull hands. 💀👍
🤣🤣🤣
Just found this channel yesssssss
welcome!
Now that is totally wicked awesome
I LOVE this endless wine bottle and glass. Is there any chance you can provide a detailed list of what type of water pump (gpm) and type of solid tubing used? I'd love to try to make this.
It’s all in the video description. 😄
DEFINITELY making a few of these! Haunted Dining Room I'm thinking!
Yes!!!
I've been following you all for the last couple of year's. I cringe cringe cringe* everything you all make and upscale. Unfortunately I had major lower back surgery 8/12/22. I was originally scheduled on 5/13/22 on a Friday. Ummmm im not SS but I've NVR had any good luck as far as I can remember when the 13th falls on a Friday. 5/13 was no different, the hubby had an emergency the night before we were supposed to leave which I had to postpone surgery. Then the next day I was in the ER with a temp of 103° and being pumped full of antibodies. For 3 weeks I considered rescheduling surgery due to the date. It is what it is so now I'm watching halloween builds and decorations from my cozy yet annoying bed. I just wanted to say thank you for many many many ideas and stuff I've come up with from watchingyour easy tutorials. I specially cringed at the upscale of the rocking witch. Thank you and I can't wait for more idea's for next year.
(Cringe aka love in my halloween book 😉)
