Another great week of gardening! I love seeing Katana being such a big helper and love that you and Conner had that special time on his Cub Scout trip. Thats a core memory he’ll cherish forever.
I loved having her help me! She was conscientious and precise with the plants it was so cute 🥰 I’m so thankful I got to take Conner camping, it made me feel like a kid again out in the woods and it was so wonderful to see him running wild with his friends! I can’t wait to take him on another trip!
Looks like this is a family affair on the garden. Thanks so much for sharing how you all got in there and worked together as a family to make this work.
So nice to see a whole family gardening together Your trellis will definitely look so beautiful when it’s filled with flowers Your daughter is so interested to help in the garden Amazing sunrise
Thankyou so much, I love having my wild bunch together to do projects! I’m so excited to hopefully have beautiful things growing on it soon 🤞 just patiently (maybe impatiently) waiting for something to sprout near it and take off!
Oh, Claire!!! Your front garden is going to be so magical with a tunnel of greenery to walk through! I love how the whole family was involved with this project! Y’all are the cutest!!!!!! I love that you are planted nasturtium! And Kanata watering the plants!!! Y’all ARE a Norman Rockwell painting! Haha about the giant worm/snake. Conner is so brave to relocate it! - Katana’s voice is so precious!!! She has such good manners! She is going to be so delighted to see those seeds grow! - Oh, yeah! There have been several times in my life when I actually thought I would freeze to death and one of them was also when I was camping! That sunrise is both beautiful and a benediction, a promise that warmth will return! - Oh, your wild plant adventures are lovely! I didn’t know that y’all had trillium, too! And it looks different from the ones in Mom’s garden! That chapel is such a beautiful surprise!!! I’m so happy that Conner is getting to be immersed in the beauty and wonder of the PNW! Thank you for sharing so much of its beauty with us!!!!!! You live in a wonderland!!!
Isn’t it funny that I think everyone’s universal camping experience is almost freezing to death 😂 the campfire, s’mores, and the beauty of nature are enough to keep us going back! I’m so glad I got to share some of the magical things I saw! Katana and Conner really were so sweet in the garden last week I wish I could just live out there with them because I think everyone is their best self when we are in the backyard playing in the dirt!! Thankfully we have so many projects to watch grow and keep us busy out there all summer!
Watched from the beginning to the end and you’re right if you want your children to understand the value, they have to see their parents doing it. Children need to be a part of the whole process. Teach them young.
Trellising and growing my plants up has definitely been a game-changer! I use jute string and an old volleyball net with my T-posts but it has saved me so much space, especially with my squash. That was a beautiful sunrise you captured. I love the memories you are making with your kids ❤
That is a very inventive way to repurpose your net and get some yummy food too! Thankyou, we did have an eventful week for sure with lots of fun things!
I always keep saying I’m going to get some of these panels and I’ve never done it yet. I guess it’s something on my wish list. Maybe I’ll try to do next year if I’m still working. There is a limited amount of money so I do have to be careful how I spenteach year I tried more thanks so much for so much great information and letting us know how to put a garden together on a budget. You are doing an awesome good job sharing with all of us, my dear friend.
I understand that completely! I wish I could spend everything needed to make my garden my vision overnight, but I have to watch my coins too and do it piece by piece, but it will eventually come together I’m sure of it ❤️

Great job, it is always wonderful to include the children in gardening and outdoor activities, to give them a love of God's creations.
Seeing them fall in love with the outdoors and all the intricate details of nature is one of my favorite things about being a parent 🥰

I was so happy that you actually gave us the prices on what you spent to put this together.
Thank you for showing us the beauty of the Pacific North West 🌱👍
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and enjoying it 😊
Wonderful as usual. Love seeing everyone involved.
Thankyou! It was a fun busy week but things are slowly but surely coming along, I love having everyone involved in some way!

Definitely! I love seeing them enjoy growing things and seeing what is possible!
