What a great idea! Today I am picking up my first RHL, a 20” Schacht with all the trimmings, barely used. Your creative tutorials will be very helpful as I get started with weaving simple garments! Thank you so much!😊
This is a terrific idea Sarah....I have cotton to make a simple top and them I would like to attach my woven fabric to make a skirt and make it as a dress. ... I really like this ❤
I am working on my shirt from the pattern T001. It is Spring and my husband decided he wanted to build a flower bed. And a friend needed help in her yard... But we have rain tomorrow! My day to finish the little fitting details will be tomorrow! Thank you for your videos. Very helpful!
@@getweaving8459 I really do like the rain, now that my husband is retired. His work was outdoors. So I used to dread it. But we live in a rather rainy area of the Appalachian Mountains here in the U.S. So I don't mind the rain.
Hi Sarah, Love this idea. What dent reed did you use? Ahh, I see it in your calculations 10 dent. Still working on my sewing skills and actually being able to design a piece that fits. They always turn out too large. But maybe if I start with a top that actually fits first and then add to it, that might give me my first wearable garment.
Yes, that's the idea Robyn, it's all about building confidence. I actually used a 7.5 dent reed because I want the fabric to be quite open and soft. I've almost finished weaving it so I'll wash it gently by hand, short spin and line dry, hopefully it'll stay roughly the same size. Then stitch it to the top....and wear it 👍😊
Hi Debs, I add them at the end of each video, I hope you can find them. If you pause and take a screenshot I'm happy for you to print them if you're able to.

Hi Sarah l can't seem to find your calculation pages or other info. Can you please share where you are hiding it. Many thanks. Debs from Down Under
