I grew up in the 90s thinking I really belonged to this family and I felt safer for it. Danny Tanner was my TV dad that taught me to talk it out and hug it out. To this day at 33 years old, I still watch Full House and Fuller House with so much nostalgia. We will all miss you, Bob ❤️

As someone who grew up in a verbal/emotional/physically abusive home I used to watch this and I remember me saying "I wish I was in this family" their bond in the show was so heartwarming rip Bob Saget thanks for being my tv dad
Same. It wasn’t just an escape, either. He showed us what a normal, healthy, wholesome, giving family is. So many of us in the 80’s grew up with abuse and dysfunction we severely needed to get away from and no way to get away besides this and similar shows. It wasn’t just a “how you do this particular thing” but a layout of a much better, healthy, wonderful life. I hope you’re doing alright! 💝 💝 💝

Bob Saget was the father that way too many kids severely needed in the 80’s with household abuse and dysfunction that was hidden and not addressed that those kids faced alone. You gotta wonder if he ever realized the impact he had on SOOO many kids at that time where he gave us normalcy and the wholesome impression and influence we so needed. I’m a much better adult even now having had that slice of wholesome pie. There’s literally no other human like him. I hope he’s somehow watching this outpouring of love, respect and appreciation of him today. What an incredible human being.

Bob Saget was a hilariously dirty comedian and the OG host of America’s Funniest Home Videos.
But I remember him best as being America’s dad (and personally my favorite TV dad). Growing up with him on “Full House”, I felt the warm and wholesome vibes he sent. It just won’t be the same anymore knowing that he’s gone.
Thanks, Bob, for everything. You’ll always be Danny Tanner to me. Rest easy. ❤️

This show was really ahead of its time, they talked about problems that actually mattered. Bod was the main reason I came too this show. To think, Bob was almost not cast as Danny.
Same as a 90s kid who grew up in a single parent household, every episode had a warm ending that gave you happy and touching feels. Miss it all the time.

I've been binge watching on HBO max. I'm on season 3 and let me tell you, it's so comforting to my soul and brings back so many memories of my childhood and times where things were normal, wholesome and decent and not perverted, wicked and abnormal

I'm 14 years old and even though I had never seen full house on the old screens, my mother introduced it to me and it has become my favourite series since, Danny Tanner was an essential part of tht life and my heart goes out to him, it proves that no matter how old you are the full house series is eternal
You know watching this now makes me think what a good actor Bob Saget really was. He was a comedian that turned into a believable likable dad on Full House.

I grew up without my dad being super present in my life, I'd only see him for a few months every couple of years, watching Full House gave me a home, warmth, love, and a father figure. Danny was the best and always made you feel loved even though it wasn't a real family, it felt like one. RIP Bob, the world just won't be the same without you, but thank you for making my life just a bit more normal when I was growing up.
12:44 Everyone knows Bob as a legendary Comedian. A favorite Comedian of other Comedians. But this scene shows what the dude could do with tear-jerker drama. When you see his face you want to just start balling. The way he emulated sadness there was just brilliant.
I heard he was described by some as the “softest tv dad” and I don’t understand why that is a bad thing? He is suppose to because he is a GIRL dad, he is gentle and caring to them and he also had to be a “mother” to them because they lost theirs when they were young.

I used to watch Full House in the 90s and early 2000s, when I was still a kid. It was one of my favorite comedy shows. And I didn't even know that Bob Saget had died, until a few minutes ago. When you follow a sitcom for years, you almost feel like you know the characters.
In my childhood I was studying english too much hard not for exams or grades.
It just to know what bob said every-time to make people so much happy and laughing or smiling.

Never thought watching Full House could be so painful. Love this show. Love Danny Tanner. Bob Saget is the man.
Such fond memories of watching this show as a child. The whole family would gather and watch Full House. My own dad(who I lost 10 years ago) enjoyed watching it. We kids loved Danny Tanner. I even call my wife a female Danny Tanner coz she's a neat freak.

I love that it was a great family show, yet still dealt with serious issues like eating disorders, smoking, drunk driving, etc that real families deal with. RIP Bob. Such a touching tribute, I know that thousands or millions of people feel the same way that I do, I grew up without a dad and watching this show made me feel as though I had a positive male role model in my life. I know that it was just a character on a show but it still impacted my life in such an important way. Learning about who he was as a real person just made it more special, like he was a real person, and I can only imagine how many lives he touched and changed for the better. My heart goes out to his family and friends and I want to thank them all for sharing such an amazing human being ❤❤❤❤

Oh the 90's...back when life seemed less complicated in so many ways.
I enjoyed watching Full house when I was growing up, I watching every show. I am now 40 years old and the show Full House was a part of my childhood and my generation. I was shocked to hear the news about Bob Saget.
I started sobbing when it got to the scene about DJ's body image issues and how loving and kind Danny was to her. I haven't seen that episode in 20 years. My father was the first person to ever make fun of my weight. He was my first bully. It was that case for a lot of us. Bob Saget really was a TV dad to so many of us who needed it. I know Bob looked at himself as mainly a stand up comedian and I know that Full House gets playfully roasted as a corny show in pop culture. But I wonder if he really knew just how much of a source of love and support Danny Tanner was for a lot of us. I just took it for granted that he was always going to be there. It's such a loss. He is irreplacable. Thank you. We love you.

Thank you so much for this. I was an awkward 11 year old when Full House premiered. It quickly became one of my favorite shows and I loved everyone on it. In later years,I loved watching it in reruns and it made me so happy that the cast remained close. I followed them all on social media and listened to Bob Saget’s podcast when he had the cast on. When i found out that Bob passed away, I was heartbroken. He was definitely one of the greatest!!! 💔
