That's one of the best sounds in this world a 2 cyclinder with a straight pipes. Love the video and mostly love the old Deere's. I have a G I restored and I use it on the farm dam near every day. Thank you Sir for the great video

I love this… I wish that highway wasn’t there though and the land looked like it did when those tractors were built.. ❤

Great low end torque. That is real plowing too. Not soft ground. Good pull.

I grew up on a farm in the Mossel Bay district, South Cape region, South Africa. Even though my father was a Ford man, we still enjoyed the 'butt butt butt' sound of the John Deere. In our region we refered to them as the 'klop' John Deere because of the 'butt butt butt' sound. Even though I'm not a farmer, I'm still enjoying the sound of a tractor and the smell of the freshly ploughed soil.

Yes indeed these are among the finest tractors ever made. I have 4 two lungers myself, sort of put away now but I will get them going again soon. This video gives me the motive, miss that sound. Some of you made comments about different soil types concerning ease of plowing or being tough, all so true. Here in Kansas soil varies a lot from nice mellow bottom land to very tough clay gumbo only a short distance from each other. I hope it's ok to say here what has become a long time nick name for the tough soil, that is "tiger sh*t gumbo. Oh well thanks for the great video.

That ground sure does plow easy. In our area an A is a two bottom tractor and the 720 is a three bottom tractor.

I was wondering if I could get some help with identifying a section of an old plow. I want to paint this beam, plowshare and moldboard, but I'm not sure what brand colours to paint it yet. There are two identification numbers on it: P1125 and P1136. If anyone has knowledge on this, would be greatly appreciated!

Nice tractors but they wouldn't be plowing that easy around southern Ohio in this clay and rock. They may be able to manage a 2 bottom plow. Nice video.

Those were the real tractor days! The new ones just arn't the same! The new tractors are like new trains, nice but they just don't have the sole of the old rail road engines and the new tractors just don't have sole like these!

The reason they stoped is of all the dam tree huggers and emissions and plus there is so many people on the world you could keep up

+Scott Bango Arce , in southwest Missouri. A combination of soil types, some of the field had a lot of creek gravel type rocks in it.
